I had his audio cassette when I was in High School. Listened to it so many times I could recite the entire thing.. Not as impressed seeing him perform, but still consider him the pinnacle of humor in my life.

They kind of function on the basis of the audience thinking that this guy is kind of an alien/weirdo/man-child who doesn't understand the basic fundamentals of life. If a normally dressed comedian, told these jokes with a normal delivery, I think they would bomb.
