I ended up buying the MAG271QPX as well. I only use HDR normally. I had both for about 4 days until I decided to return the LG. It was a tough decision, but ultimately, the 360hz, 3 year warranty and color volume won. You can now update the MAG, but there is still the issue when after the image cleaning, the monitor turns off. The LG was not bad at all, though. At the $650 price, the LG is a tough contender.

Do you think some settings on the MSI monitor are making the colors over saturated? I felt like looking at a lot of those scenes it felt a bit too much. I don't know if its a camera thing but 0:15 for example, that red mustang on the right looks very saturated to the point where it just feels off especially around the headlamp. The GS95 felt more true to life. I could tell it clearly had good colors and contrast but it felt more accurate. I own the GR95 version and am contemplating replacing it with a discounted open box of the newer models for the better brightness. I was looking between these two monitors exactly.

@Bokid24 the MAG is great and the same picture quality of the MPG. Its that the MPG has native Firmware support and some small options that the mag does not include. Both support firmware updates now... its just that if you get an older mag model it may need to be sent to msi to unlock the firmware update options. Its an issue many dont talk about. Recent updates have fixed and improved input lag. But also maybe they have already included this fix in newer models. Only way to tell is to look in the menu. Many 90% wont have an issue but you never know msi changed mind once ppl started saying that the mag should include it ad before only the mpg had it.

So basically an qd oled for hdr. And woled for sdr. For these prices I want just the full package. So qd oled. If I don’t want get distracted and play sdr only I better stick on zowie BenQ xl2546k or x. Or 27 inch versions. These monitors are just the best thing in terms of motion blur and performance. Still. I want to see better in depth comparisons. Especially between the 32 inch versions from Alienware, Samsung, lg. i really liked that sdr from the lg in this video. Hdr on the other hand I barely use for hardcore/competitive. But still. Then is an 1400 euros lg overkill/pointless. 27 inch versions with 4k qd oled or woled probably next year Q1.,still not convinced to pull the trigger on these oleds to be Honest. The lg 32 inch version is still on my radar. If you have this in house then you probably won’t complain about the hdr. Because you only see what you get. And it probably is still good enough. Unless you have somehow an qd oled as an extra purchase. But that is why we are here🤣. To see the comparison on video instead of buying two and compare them by ourselves. Another factor is the daylight and glare. So I need way more in depth comparison. Will patiently wait for the next videos.

I have 2. MSI MPG and MAG. Long story short Get the MPG ver. If you can as it has some added features and native firmware update support which is very important.

I got The LG because I need the matte, The problem with this monitor is with the Peak Brightness on high because it distorts the EOTF in (HDR mode) Force you to put it on low and get the 650nits max Or 1250nits on high with distortion in shadow details and bad EOTF

The new lg 32" has an update on shadow detail fix. I wonder if a new update on the 27" will follow.

Unfortunately the EOTF is messed up on both woled and qd-oled. I am forced to use True Black 400 on my PG32UCDM to get the best and most accurate HDR experience.

Personal Opinion: Better to buy a Wo-Oled than QD oled , Vibrant colours? ❎ however deeper black ✅

I cannot stand the Purple Tint on QD Oled

Then w-oled would be best. Add some digital vibrance in the nvidia control panel to help with some color pop.
