@@mandelalago4371 I didn't use a machine, I did it all by hand, I need to try it again though as I didn't get the fibers I had wanted to.

Do a search on UA-cam there are a few videos on how to extract the fibers that you can check out

Not sure of the variety we have, but you can extract the fibers from all bananas.
