so many tried but its because of your simplified "how to start", I am finally on Midjourney, thank you thank you thank you so much....now to learn those many many styles and features.
Unbelievable ...love the way you say its really easy ...NOT ! No "BOT". No Prompt Bar ! Speaks really fast Assumes loads ...and I'm now paying a subsription
Only just starting into Ai,retired so have time on my hands, I must say this has been by far the perfect explanation of mid journey, looking forward to watching many more of your videos
My first thought is, what a great way to display dreams. I would always want to draw out what I saw in my dreams which seemed impossible. This might make it possible!
Subscribing after watching this. Well explained, Drew. I look forward to learning more as I have JUST obtained this app (like yesterday, in fact) and your points on building better prompts will save HOURS of frustration. Thanks!
Thank you for explaining the settings.. That was a tremendous amount of help for me especially and it was so simplistic Per your instructions.. I was using the high style and the Max settings and not in the test photo settings so I was upset because my renders kept coming out Drawn Almost like cartoons and I was having trouble capturing a more realistic Like they were drawn by hand and not realistic in any way shape or form and I was becoming frustrated because I was not sure what I was doing wrong. So again thank you.
I’d like to know how ‘Rainy Guy’ on UA-cam makes these pictures move and like the halloween one of his how the pumpkins glow. Do you know any software that does this?
There are various programs that do (some free, most paid) - your easiest bet is an App called 'MovePic' and if you want to get super detailed, Adobe After Effects.
@@District7DrewGeraci It will let you use the prompt. It just won't give you a picture with that aspect ratio. Same if you generate a 16:9 image and then remaster it. Remastering is --test --creative, so it will reshape the image from 16:9 to 3:2.
My money says you have dyslexia. You said 3214 but typed 2341... common. Saying numbers out loud helps you look at that number and see the disconnect. Always say numbers out loud. Dyslexia Pro Tip!
The algorithm doesn't actually go looking on the internet for things you include in the prompt, it references a model that has been trained on a specific database of imagery, so if it's not in the model then it will struggle to produce that specific image. Also, not trying to be a downer, but realisticly it's not great for everyone, illustrators, digital artists, stock photographers, even regular photographers and many other creatives will lose a lot of work due to this tech requiring zero skill to create imagery they probably spent years studying and refining their skill to create.
Completely agree! There's an ethics argument here, and it's going to be interesting to see what comes out of this. Disney is undoubtedly keeping a close eye on it.

@@District7DrewGeraci thankyou
FYI: The --test and --testp commands are restricted to 3:2, 1:1, and 2:3.
Interesting - haven't had any issues with 16:9 prompts.

Midjourney do not need subscription to work with it is for free, isn’t it?
It requires a subscription still. Either $10/mo for 200 images or $30/mo for unlimited.
