Thanks for the tips! You must also try "origami figurine, paper model, young handsome woman, table, macro photgraphy, shallow depth of field, 50mm lens, f1.2 --ar 3:4 --test --creative". You can see it getting ore and more creases while it's developing... AMAZING!
Pretty cool! I actually also had a Origami Prompt for this video, but didn't want to pack to many into one clip. Check this out: www.midjourney.com/app/jobs/52e3ce12-2073-44c6-863e-284b36799603/
This is amazing, I was walking my dog, and thinking about this new toy I discovered and had me addicted ofcourse, and I wondered how other people manage to make images of people or animals etc, that aren't crooked, or missing parts etc... And when I got back, I figured, let's watch some youtube films, to learn more about all the processes... And what do you know, here it is, you explained it... --test... Woooww, what a revelation!! I love your videos, will have to watch all of them about midjourney, and take notes 😉🤣🤣🤣
bobblehead spent a few hours on that one but had to go to complex , simple looked to plastic like for me, it's amazing how 1 word can send you off for hours down the rabbit hole
Swapping out the material for the "Carved in..." prompts results in some interesting renders. Carved in Onyx is spectacular. Thanks for the inspiration, love your vids.
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but action figure works pretty well too. It'll either (usually) make it look like a toy figure, joints and all, or a figurine, at least in my experience. That bobblehead one, hooked!
Olivio, please tell me how to yous my on photography, painting sketch or reference picture to creat over painting by Midjourney. Usually i make opposite.I mean if i can transfer those pictures to Midjourney, creat the prompt so to come with new idea around my on idea. My God, i hope you understand what i mean 😅
Thank you, Olivio! It's very inspiring as usual. Recently, I'm into Renaissance / baroque portraits - and it's so addictive: I try and try again. Each new variation gives new background features, new clothing etc.
Olivio, as guy with are playing a lot with both Midjourney and Stable Diffusion I can tell you - prompts are important, but not so much. Your knowledge and design talents as well as inpainting and understanding how far you can allow AI to go - this is that allow to make real art. You can write me (see profile email) so I can show you things that are different from almost everything you saw made using such systems. I comment here because video is also more focused on art. But important thing about art - you must be like good cook, be able to make that you intended no matter that. And single prompt is not it, usually.
Hi, I'm new to AI and I'm not a graphic artist and I was wondering what it means after your prompt when you write ar or numbers or test? Does that need to be included too? Thanks so much! 😀
Those sre parts of a prompt but are used a certain way. For help, while in the same chat room you are in for midjourney type /help for info on those and other commands
that might be a problem, unless you use image to image render in stable diffusion, where you can make crude sketches and have them turned into better images
Hey Olivio, could you pls make a video about Anthropomorphism (animals that behave like humans) ? I'm struggling a bit with this kind of topic 😅 Thanks for the video ✌🏼
Very cool. Now I only need to find out how I can take a pic of myself and apply something like the Kathe Kollwitz sketch to it. And no, just uploading a pic and working with iw does NOT do the trick.
Thank you for this tricks. By the way... I was playing for a white with Midjourney and it is beautiful and powerful but... It botters me a lot that faces are always the same. When I introduce a simple prompt like "beauty man" or "beauty woman" they look always the same man or woman. It is so consistent! But I'll get frustrated if I want a different output. Also, it is bothering me a lot that a "handsome man" always returns a caucasian man. And finally, it is so annoying how it underrepresent women comparing with man. It is like it was trained to be caucasian-male-normative. I hope they modify the code or... I'm sure I will move to any other open-minded AI generator.
Yeah there are simply way more photo's of caucasian looking people on the internet and therfor in the training data. so a caucasian is the default, but you can put any ethnicity as prompt like ghanian, nigerian, african, chinese, korean, indonesian etc and it will change ;)
@@maiskorrel I think, at least with Midjourney it is also very much based on what the user base votes for on the results and who can afford to pay the $30 per month at the moment. So this is a social-economical bias. Midjourney is trying to fix that though, but their team is pretty small at the moment
Yesss I was thinking the exact same thing after I watched the video. There is a bit of a default to that exact same Caucasian face structure looking kid.
Does this mean, the bobblehead only works in --test and can't be used with reference image, since reference image doesn't work with test and testp, right?
Why don't you try the suggested prompt terms on your own prompt ideas instead? The portrait of a beautiful man is just a sample image, so that all have roughly the same image
If all you want out of art is a beautiful image, maybe not. If you want genuine artistic craftmanship and expression of an actual human, than there is only one source that can do that: humans
"You're creating your own works".. No you're really not the AI is, not hating as I see it as fun as well as being a useful tool but lets not take it too seriously here. anyone using AI IS NOT 'creating art'

A mind blowing spectacular tool the art world is even better now.
this is a new age for art :)

_"Albert Bierstadt Portrait/Landscape Style"_ is also nice for the more classic painting style look. And I do love basic _"Pencil on Paper"_
Very nice..really must try these.. thanks for sharing.
You´re welcome!

Try carved in alabaster for a warmer tone.
could be :)

Wow, that sounds really cool too :)
Olivio, in a future video can you cover the best way to get a full-figure shot?
The prompt full-figure shot sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.
Thank you will it work for table diffusion ...! is it possible to convert real photos into low poly for carved in stone like style
Superb video. I love collaborating with you. Thank you for the mentioning me.
Thank you very much for your help and insights :)
Great vid and tips, thanks, now I can try some fun new Midjourney stuff!!!
Good ideas. I like the content.
Thank you. Happy i could inspire you :)
Never would have expected "young handsome man" to render a cross between Elvis and H. P. Lovecraft.
Thanks for the inspiration. I will try them also in Wonder app
Thank you Olivio ❤
Once again you have created a very informative video and clearly explained. Thanks 😊
thank you so much
Exactly what I was looking for....thank you for this
so he didn't leave the prompt at description or chat, wow great!

What about human poses for dynamic comic books?
that might be a problem, unless you use image to image render in stable diffusion, where you can make crude sketches and have them turned into better images
Every single minute a wonderful creation is made using these AI tools. This is insanely exciting time for artists and also art lovers.
Hey Olivio, could you pls make a video about Anthropomorphism (animals that behave like humans) ? I'm struggling a bit with this kind of topic 😅 Thanks for the video ✌🏼
Sounds good. I am already planing a "cute animas in clothing" video
@@OlivioSarikas oh yes please 🤩
A furry
@@bjohns3961 no that's a Human that behaves like a animal, so the opposite 😂
Can’t wait
Could also try Cell Shading as a prompt too
HI Great stuff, but just wondering if you started with a ref photo and if so was it always the same one?
following
No, just AI. 100% prompt. Midjourney became really good at these kind of images :)
hye olivio, what is the --test-- or --testp-- prompt mean in the midjourney ai ?
Very informative…. Thank you!!
My pleasure
Thank you
Very cool. Now I only need to find out how I can take a pic of myself and apply something like the Kathe Kollwitz sketch to it. And no, just uploading a pic and working with iw does NOT do the trick.
for that you need to use Stable Diffusion image to image render
Any chance you could show us how to do this? Is mid journey available for everyone?
I have a video here on how to get started: ua-cam.com/video/HQLnB6qLvUg/v-deo.html
If used an URL of an actual face image of a feiend, how close can we get to re create a face carved marble? Anyone tried?
Very cool Olivio! Thanks
Thank you so much :)
Hello Olivio. Can Midjourney create a statue of Winged Victory of Samothrace but with a beautiful head of some goodness ?
sure, why not
Wow! This is sooooooooo good - thank you so very much. :o)
You are very welcome :)
is there a way to use the style as filters to apply to your own photos?
Can you add the prompts you used in the description; I see them quickly on the top but easier for everyone to copy and paste etc
I paused the video and wrote down the prompt. In the main there is only one part of the prompt changing.
THE FIRST AI COMPANY THAT GIVES THE USERS CONSISTENT CHARACTERS THAT CAN BE USED IN COMICS AND ANIMATION WILL RULE THE WORLD
dude, relax and stop using all caps in comments
The bobblehead looks like Phil from Modern Family! 😂❤️
Awesome thanks for some inspiration 👌
My pleasure 😊

you can specify black man or french man or other words to get different faces.
Yeah there are simply way more photo's of caucasian looking people on the internet and therfor in the training data. so a caucasian is the default, but you can put any ethnicity as prompt like ghanian, nigerian, african, chinese, korean, indonesian etc and it will change ;)

I am nearly 70...so just getting started can someone tell me 'prompts' meaning words typed into the description bar?) Thank you for any help.
Yes, after. These are the commands for after “/imagine prompt: “ Such fun. 64 here and never expected to see such a powerful AI tool in my lifetime.
Thank you so much.
You're welcome! :)
Loved it
Thank you so much
Thx
Great content, thanks for sharing!
I‘m observing that typing „handsome man“ gives images of all white men. Good for them 😄
I hope there are more videos of this kind of introduction keywords, thank you
yes, i have already several planned :)
where is the list of prompts and how you used them for those results?
Why don't you try the suggested prompt terms on your own prompt ideas instead? The portrait of a beautiful man is just a sample image, so that all have roughly the same image
can i put face and make it like this? a photo i mean ? what are the commants if so?
by saying "Yes I know these are brand names" it doesn't excuse the fact that you are using other people's works for your personal gain.
How can you combine it with real photography?
Have a look here: ua-cam.com/video/O2FV_iWVk58/v-deo.html or here: ua-cam.com/video/sqVVxzzHLAA/v-deo.html
That bobblehead "young man" doesn't look so young.
look at it again when you are 85 ;) - na, you are right, that one didn't pick up on the young part
example: Katy perry made out of colorful stains
pretty cool :) I tried it and I liked it :)
Try Katy perry as a stain - - on mankind
Interesting how ' young handsome man ' = young brunette white man, every time.
Why are all the guys Chads?
so no need for digital portrait artists anymore huh?
If all you want out of art is a beautiful image, maybe not. If you want genuine artistic craftmanship and expression of an actual human, than there is only one source that can do that: humans
might I suggest 'woman'
it is sad that 99% of shit you see in MJ is just portraits.
Interesting...is the defaut for 'handsome' always someone of Caucasian ethnicity, or was there some other factor/promt responsible for this bias?
It’s not as easy as people might think to get what your aiming for. This prompt magic isn’t easy to master.
BOH-kay, not bOH-kah
Na dude, there is no unified way to say it. Just like with gif
"You're creating your own works".. No you're really not the AI is, not hating as I see it as fun as well as being a useful tool but lets not take it too seriously here. anyone using AI IS NOT 'creating art'
hey I made a charcoal sketch with your advice . want to share . is there a discord or insta? Sorry I don't use fb
