Special ammo is a minor thing, fuel on the other hand, pretty sure this thing alone eats as much as your entire standard battlegroup, just moving it to next city over might be a challenge
Yeah it's an amazing ship, expertly designed and well piloted. But I'm not sure if the amount of ammunition (and fuel) you expended in this battle even EXISTS in the game's campaign. 😳 Do you have any numbers to put to that? Like, how many rounds of large & small caliber rounds did you use up and how much fuel? Are ammo & fuel unlimited in test mode? Also, I know it's a science fiction game but I can't help but wonder if a ship like this could even CARRY this much ammunition & fuel...The stuff must be extremely heavy. But then, that's kind of baked into the lore. The entire premise of flying huge metal hunks over vast expanses of terrain using rocket engines is ludicrous to begin with, even considering the abundance of hydrocarbon fuel available on this desert world. As a corollary: No wonder it's so hot on Gerat. All that rocketry will produce enough green house gas emissions to turn any planet into a scorching desert. A nice nuclear winter should really help with that.😂

if you think about it point defenses are just a version of reactive armor especially when employed en masse to form a wall of bullets like this ship lol

1. I'm not sure how to share the ship file over youtube 2. I play on 1.16 where the gun elevation doesn't matter 3. Thank you! I based this ship off the Yamato so I wanted a striking tower. 4. The anchor or "landing tentacle" is to be able to reach lower landing pads to get a higher repair bonus since the ship being so big, would only be able to land on the 5% or 10% landing pads most of the time. You can see the tentacle landed on the 15 pad so I got an extra bonus. I updated the ship to have the tentacle load in sideways and the drop down since i was told that if it was vertical in-game, it would cause a few problems when loading it in battle/the dock
@@Anozumi Tried it, absolutely awesome performance. First test was Small, Difficulty 5 and the only significant damage i got was only to the landing gears/chassises. The "battleship" title is definitly deserved for it as its a great firepower to deal with small enemy ships (in my opinion) as it can quickly knock them out with armor piercing 130mm canons. The only threat to it is being surrounded by ships firing anti-ships missiles. The second test was Mid/Large, (? Cant remember the number but prob 2-5) and i took out alot of ships, the only worthy opponents were the Sevastopols but i were able to decimate them. I had to retreat due to heavy damage but its pretty much minimum 30+ ships destroyed exchanged for a heavily damaged battleship so i will give it a B+ at mid, large and A- at Small So in conclusion, Epic ship and significantly good firepower.
This thing would solo the entire game no doubt, if not for the need of dividing the fleet during the Khiva crisis. (Wonder if it could face tank a nuke...) XD
@@AlphaNumericKey One of the patches fixed the non-intended behavior of the Palash not replenishing. Anozumi did say they're on 1.16(?) while the current patch is 1.163, so idk which patch fixed it.
Neat. I was wondering about that too since It seemed new... I've (unfortunately) been too busy to catch up with the new patches. I'm surprised to learn that Palash ammo not replenishing on player ships wasn't intentional... I just thought regenerating Palash ammo it was another one of the advantages given to the AI ships.
thrust to weight ratio of 1 for a ship that size is honestly amazing if anything. Remember that the 1:1 TWR of the F15 eagle was considered such a big achievement.
