Really enjoyed it. You did a great job explaining what you were going to do...then doing it!
Thank you Tim! I also enjoy watching your videos, they provide inspiration for mine.
Great presentation. Love the JD 1025R series, very versatile. Leaf pickup - like here in Minnesota in the Fall
Thank you!
Best to mow and vac with dry grass and leaves, I find that the real dry leaves act as an abrasive and they actually clean the grass from the mower deck.
I modified an old peco vac to
Blow into my 10 cubic foot lawn cart with 30” sides, now it’s about 40 cubic ft.
Sounds like you have a nice setup. Thank you for the tip as well!
Well done.
Good video.
Thanks
You're welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Great video but you forgot to show us the dumping feature 🤷🏼♂️🙂
Skip to the end of this video, I show it dumping here. 🙂

those tires runin the lawn
Agreed, these are not the optimal tires to use in this situation, but it’s what I had available at the time.
u should use turf tries that was a nice yard
Agreed, turf tires would have been better, but I don't have any for the 1025R at the moment. Also, I did this in wet grass to showcase the TKV's abilities. Good thing grass bounces right back!
Does the TKV20 go up and down with the deck and if so is that a problem? I'm trying to avoid buying the separate deck control kit.
Yes, it goes up and down with the deck, provided you have a single lift cylinder. You won’t have to buy a separate deck control kit.
How does it dump?
There is a switch on the side of the tractor that you press and it dumps out, you never have to leave your seat. I have another video: Mowing 8 Acres - Kubota BX2380, and in that video, I demonstrate it dumping.
Will this work with the 1025r that has a cab?
Yes, it will.
did you sell the 2038R?
We still have the 2038R, we decided to use the 1025R for this video though.
@@TheTractorFactor Thanks for your answer...and i love your videos! Keep them coming!:)
