will work on a cyclone rake the hopper is all fabric, if so where would you mount it

It’s definitely possible but we have never tried it. You’ll have to build something yourself and see if it works. In terms of mounting location, make sure it goes in a spot where material builds up first. Sorry I can’t be of more help.

Hi Nolan, Is this going to help me know the top part of my JD 3 bag system with MCS14 hopper emptied without leaving the seat? I saw one of the examples was the 3 bag. The sensor was mounted near the fill tube. Is that the best location? It reads thru the plastic?

Hi BG. Yes, this will tell you when your MCS14 is full without you having to leave the seat (it alerts you through a loud alarm). And yes, the best location on the MCS14 is to the right of the chute and it will read through the plastic. However, feel free to move the sensor around until you get the desired fill.
Here is another video we put together (you can see the MCS14 in some of the clips):

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

So when the hopper is full, and you dump it, do you have to do anything to the sensor to "reset" it, or does it automatically stop beeping and starts sensing again?

After you dump the hopper, the sensor automatically resets and starts sensing again. However, if for some reason it keeps beeping and doesn't reset, just turn it off and back on again.

Is the sensor mounted on the inside or outside of the hopper?

    • @SupTechInc

It is mounted on the outside of the hopper.
