I could see the massive difference in the lack of traffic. My paper work was all good as I move a Mobile MRI scanner for the veterinary hospitals so I'm not carrying a load. I'm old enough to have driven from UK to Europe before the single market.on one occasion it took me 24 hours to clear UK customs at Dover returning to UK with a unloaded UK registered truck. But that was a system that had developed once a hundred years. So stop complaining I'm sure in a hundred years time it will be running as smoothly again.

The 1st thing I do with every SatNav Unit I buy is change the Voice from female because I'm adamantly opposed to having a woman continually telling Me where to drive. Then I change the Male Voice away from an English Accented Voice because I'm similarly opposed to having an Englishman continually telling Me where to drive. With those Two minor changes I'm then happy to use My SatNav only for the Final Destinations I don't know and navigate the bulk of the drive Myself off Paper Maps and Memory.

My Father’s Family were from Lacken, Cappoquin (Co. Waterford) and when I was attending My Mother’s Funeral in Affane, Cappoquin in 2009, people from Lacken were introduced to Me as Neighbours. Now these Neighbours were either people I had never met before, but who’s family names were familiar to Me or people of whom I had a slight childhood recollection. It struck Me as so hugely significant that people from a place where I had never lived (school holidays don’t count) were My Neighbours. Today, 12 years later I’m still talking, electronically from Australia, with some of My Neighbours from Lacken, whilst receiving not a word from 1st Cousins and other Family, living in the Cappoquin, Lismore, Dungarvan Area. Thus of the three; Family, Friends and Neighbours; I value My Neighbours highest. Stay Safe, Stay Well.

mr kelly you brought back memories when i rode my father when you waved to o coming drivers - it was a custom here in the u.s. in the 40s and 50s to wave to all oncoming truckers with your right hand index finger while your hand were on the steering wheel - in those day the kw's had large steering wheels and two stick gear shifts - none of the comforts of todays trucks - also it was a custom to flash your lights to oncoming trucks when a bear was in the area ahead - also to flash your light's when a truck was passing and when it was clear re enter the lane - only two lane roads in those days - he drove in arizona - california - new mexico - utah and colorado ........ thanks for your videos
