Only just watching this Ned used to load in Muller /culina myself, they used too let you stay overnight couldn't do enough for drivers key for the showers transport into the village if you wanted to go out you are even doing the same contract that we did through grocontinental back to Whitchurch UK, and you used to have to go through Teplica to get to the cinovec/zinwald boarder for Dresden no other way back then, so times have changed Ned and you only had to buy the vignette for the auto route in Germany anyway stay safe keep doing the video's I love watching you, it brings back so many memories and keep it lit.
Great to see someone who loves what he does. I'd've been driving rigid trucks for years, I love it but am now ready to make the step up. Your videos have been a great source of education, entertainment and inspiration, well done Ned,, keep up the good work!

Another great video Ned. I see the foolishness of other drivers in the mountains plays out over there as it does here in USA. --Worse here, I expect... Glad to see a fellow gas burner user . I'll not have any part of rotgut, storebought brew! I carry a dozen eggs and a saucepan for soft boiled eggs with Kerrygold butter. A touch of vinegar in boiling water keeps any broken eggs from sticking to pan. Wish I could put my new electronic hours of service logging device in the kettle too!

Here in the states we distribute the weight in the trailer by sliding the axles forward or aft in accordance with the center of gravity. This is done at a weigh station.

crossed many times at Venlo back when borders needed customs. Mostly in ERF B series 290 BIG CAM.(looked like the Scania). Tanker work Long ago now.

If you drive to or through Germany on a frequent base, there is no reason not to have the automatic toll collect machine on board. Doing it manually each time is a pain in the ass and it costs time and you are also restricted to the route you paid on the ticket. The machine is FREE of charge and can be ordered from your Boss. Installation is done in less than 2 hours and that´s it.

The inside of your trailer looks nice for a "Refrigerated" trailer. Is that a wooden floor in your trailer? Most of the "Reefer" (Refrigerated) trailers in the states have Aluminum grooved flooring so when the cold air from the refrigeration unit hits the back doors the air will sink to the floor and follow the grooves back to the refrigeration unit for complete cycling. All of your Freight you hall must be on pallets so there is space under your cargo for cool air to return to the refrigeration unit.

Hi I got them at Meer truck stop on the Belgian Dutch border but if you look online I'm sure you can source them in the UK. Mine are years old but quality lasts. Most surgeons wear them in the hospitals very comfy surely aye ;)
