If you look back at my old old old old videos (about 10 years ago) I compared four different types of watercolour crayons. Part of the testing was finger smudging!

For management of symptoms of fatigue, can I recommend a very lovely and fun channel, Retro Claud, if you haven’t already discovered her. Claud is a professional costumer with chronic illness who includes in her highly entertaining videos great information about how she manages to achieve tasks around dealing with very low energy levels. Lots of very useful tips in there. She’s also very enjoyable to watch and funny as hell too. Might help you while you learn not to overdo it in this next little while. And if not, her rants will give you a laugh anyway.

Just got back from a lovely date with my wifey after a long work week.
Grabbed some awesome smelling candles on sales, our favorite pizza, and playing a nuzlock pokemon play though. :)
Later tonight I plan on working on some art pieces with some new supplies that we grabbed on sale. Plan on watching more of your vidoes as I work on the pieces.
Im so happy to see you both making things and you both will forever inspire me to keep trying my best to make art. I do enjoy the little Notebook that Steph made for you to draw in. Makes me want to start one with my lovely lady. ❤

The way she's turned it into a mini sort of prompt book is honestly such a good idea and it's always a suprise what theyre gonna be LOL I'd highly recommend it!

I HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK!!! This week is exciting for me because on Wednesday I’m going to the lauch event of an exhibition I’m part of from a competition. It’s a competition for autistic artists so I’m really proud to be involved and I’m so excited to go and see my art in a real exhibition and I’m doing an artist q and A eekkkkk love you guys

i've owned most small mammals (rats, mice, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits) but i've never had guinea pigs! i've been interested in potentially getting a pair myself after my rabbit passed earlier this year, so i'd love if you guys did a video just about the pigs someday! just what kind of stuff you do for them in a daily/weekly basis, they're such cuties :3
You totally should but we're also very biased when it comes to guineas LOL
We hang out with them all day every day! it's something we never take for granted, whether it be playing, cleaning, feeding or just talking to them. With pigs you honestly get out everything you put into caring for them, theyre so intelligent and gentle i love them soooo much!

I grew up in the Corinth Mississippi area in the southern United States. There is a local dish called the Slug Buger. Not made from slugs lol it was invented during the great depression and they sold for 5 cents aka a slug nickel.

I’m in the process of going back to school to hopefully become an art therapist so my hands have been so full recently. However, I always make sure I drop whatever I’m doing whenever a new doodle date video releases. Thanks for taking us on this trip!

Okay but bath crayons AMAZING
Caran d’ache neocolor2 are watersoluble crayons that are pigment and lightfast - great watersolubility but they aren’t butter- however not smudging a lot can be a plus.
If they struggle to smudge this will only be a plus for Steph LOL
I hope you feel better soon, Adamo. I found out a few days ago that when I was complaining during the shared canvas stream about being sick that I have strep throat so I got on antibiotics and am doing a lot better pain-wise but just sleepy. This was such a fun video I love Steph's burger snail

I hope you get better soon Adamo! Long covid is very complex... if you have the energy I would very much recommend to do some research of your own (on reliable medical platforms) as at least here in Switzerland most doctors and hospitals have very little experience with and knowledge of it. Look into different types of long covid like POTS, ME-CFS etc. and how to test for them. This helped my partner a lot in getting the help he needed.
If you like I can ask him for some good resources etc.

I have fallen ill once again 🤧 I managed the first three days at my new art-school (which was absolutely wonderful) and then I got suuuuper sick 🤒 and I had just gotten well from a previous illness 😭
I also wish Adamo a quickening recovery ❤️🩹 I really hope you start getting better

Because of the straw in the monty drawing I just wanted to share, that i've recently heard that a lot of paper straws (and bamboo straws) have been showing contamination with chemicals (the bad dangerous for humans and for the environment kind) and right now researchers aren't sure whether the chemicals are being used by companies in waterproofing to prevent disintegration or if the chemicals are in the material due to leaching into the trees/bamboo/raw materials from the soil or water before they are ever made into straws.
Stainless steel straws or no straws is safest!
Just wanted to take the time to share in case anyone is interested in such things here in the comments.

Hullo Art Friends! I have seen Kasey Golden work with a lot of different crayons and these reminded me of the Maribu crayons. They are also similar to the Caran d’Ache Neocolor II’s, moving the pigment with water is a real bonus! Lovely video and seeing everyone drawing on the same sheet! Very cool. You need to remind everyone of what that is! Program name etc. Oops, I have never seen those brand of crisps but I know that these are brands here in the USA that do not go across the Mississippi River! Ok grand fun and we’ll be seeing you soon!
Oh! The program we use for the shared sheet is called Magma, its free to use and is soooo much fun!

I have a set of art supplies that I think is very similar to your silky crayons? mine are called 'CHUNKY PAINT STICKS' and brand themselves as not needing water or anything, but they have the same, really distinctive 'buttery' and silky smooth texture that I wonder if they're made of the same thing. I haven't tried smudging them [I also hate the feeling of messy stuff 😓) but maybe I ought to give it a go just to test it...or with water maybe... 🤔 - also, I can't believe adam was on steph's case about calling it 'sticky' when he kept going on about using his fingers to spread the paint...that was just plain rude!! XD
also gotta love the capybaras B^) the nearest zoo to me has one of those capybara experiences and I REALLY would like to meet them.... >:3c

I've had long covid since 2020. It's been tough. I've caught covid a hand full more times and the long covid has just gotten worse. My lungs are damaged (i get winded much more quickly and can't sing as well as I once did) and I have Premature Ventricular Contractions now (feels like a rubber band being wound tight in your chest and then popping) which means that my heart kind of beats before it should causing it to stop temporarily... there's always the chance it might not start back. My husband has migraines from long covid and gets winded easily... My hope is that any of your symptoms are shortlived.
It's funny that Adam is heavy handed on everything but watercolours, and Steph is the opposite!
Sounds like Adamo needs to do some finger painting.
I definitely use my fingers when doing oil pastels and chalk pastels and charcoal.
