We're Adam and Steph, we're a British Art couple that love to make art together despite both having disabilities. Adam is colourblind and Steph has a neurological disorder which means she has a tremor, this throws some extra obstacles our way when it comes to creating art but we still enjoy the process anyway! I remember the Dragonology book--there were a bunch of others in the same vein: wizardology, pirateology, some others I've forgotten. My kids (now 26 & 18) had several when they were little. Edit: So glad you weren't evicted! Merry Christmas & happy holidays!! Much love to you & the piggies!

I LOVE my loops! They have an awesome one that allows some sound through but quiets the really painful sounds. I use them while grocery shopping and I’m far less overwhelmed by the end ❤
Oh id love to try them out in a mall or something similar as well!

I use Loops at work! I work in a thrift store warehouse so between all the conversations going on, the work radio, the industrial trash compactor, carts rolling back and forth, and the forklift it's so overstimulating. The Loops have been a god send!
Good job at the dentist! And I'm glad the landlord brought some nice gifts over, that was very sweet :) The size difference between the boys is so much more obvious when they're lying together!
Patches is just on another level, whatever genes he has theyre maxed out on the size LOL

I got so excited when i saw the dragonology book! I've collected every single one i could find as i grew up and still own them. they're some of my favorites! Theres another one out there about giants in a similar style, the name of it escapes me though.
Theyre so amazing and make my autism brain HAPPY
Now i want to own every single one of them!
My boyfriend and I have loops! We're both autistic and noises overstimulate us and the loops work AMAZING!!

Oh yeah we had graph paper in school. We used it for most subjects. Math had obligatory graph paper, our language studies had lined. The rest we mostly could choose ourselves, we all chose graph. I still prefer graph paper even as an adult. It's graph, dots, blank and then lined for me.
Just started the video but as an italian-australian, the cakes are panettone! they are christmas cakes that we give out to friends and family! Traditionally they're more like fruitcakes but modern ones will have creme fillings like lemon or chocolate! They're more bread like than normal cakes but super tasty dipped in milk. Hope y'all have a super joyful Christmas you deserve it especially after the awful ordeal last year
The way I swore out loud when the Dragonology book came out omgggg I was OBSESSED with them and Dragons as a youth, I still have my Dragonology book (it's the same one Steph showed), being late diagnosed with Autism and finding out all of us had this collective obsession with the Dragonology books was like a lightblub moment like "Ahhh. How did I not know I was on the autism spectrum lmao"

If Steph hasn't heard of junk journaling yet, you guys should look it up. People who do it incorporate so many envelopes, tuck spots, and fold out elements.

My mom had the fairyology version of the dragonology book when i was a kid and i really felt like a fairy researcher looking through all the cool things in it! I would read and look through it for hourssss

My son was diagnosed with asperger's, but here in America, instead of calling it asperger's anymore, they now call it autism one. He is thirty. I am not young anymore. But I love watching you guys. I was gifted the dragonology book when it first came out here because dragons have been my special interest ever since I was very little. :D It's such a fun book! (There's more books in the same series, the wizard one is really fun as well.)

Omg I also use Loop too! I use mine mainly to sleep with because my other half snores so badly.. I used to use all kinds of ear plugs but they either didn't block enough sound or they'd get my ears sore and infected or they d be too hard. These are my absolute go to and yes they are brilliant. Loop. 100% fab!!!
I lost my dragonology book from when I was a kid. I adored it...
I still use grid paper! For loads of stuff. I drew the thumbnail idea for our holiday cards in 3*4 squares, and then just scaled it up and up to draw it with more details.

If you love books that have envelopes with little letters inside that you can take out and read, you should check out the Jolly Postman books! The postman delivers letters to nursery rhyme and fairy tale characters and it’s super cute. That dragonology book just triggered a memory of the countless hours I spent reading and rereading those as a small child, and now I think I need to get these books back into my collection.

Those cakes are Italian Christmas panettone which we gift at Christmas they are very yummy the traditional ones are with the raisin and dried fruit but they have lots of variation nowadays enjoy☺️ Hope you had a very merry Christmas 🎄

There is a train museum somewhat local to me that every year gets in Thomas and Percy trains you can ride in which of course is meant for lil kids but I unironically want to go to it someday but it's not cheap lol
