If you want to take the train to Cinque Terre I recommend the train to Levanto from say Pisa. It’s a regional so slow but I really like to stay in Levanto. Not as crazy as the 5 towns and a nice hike over the hill to Monterosso al Mare, the northernmost town of theCinque Terra, or if like me you’re a bit old for the hike there is a train that will then take you to all 5 of the villages of the Cinque Terra.

I'm really worried because I'm planning to tour Italy at septembre and My suitcase is really heavy and with wheels😰

Departing stations noted not from SMN in Firenze and not in centralle at La Spezie. Will you recommend taking the bus?

In Italy are there places where you can get coin change? Travelling in England and France I found it very difficult to get coins for vending machines and toilets.

Eurail is not as convenient as it used to be. Seat selection is available on high speed trains
