Yes, informative but too fast to get information.

You’re friggin awesome! One of the best ‘practical tips’ travel guides I’ve seen on Yourube! Keep going, girl!!
Wow, Thank you so much for sharing! Very informative clip! Keep up the great work!
Great job on this video Christina. Really well researched and presented, and the tips you gave, would make for a mostly hassle-free experience. Visitors can also look into special events that are happening during the time of their visit, and take advantage of those, especially in smaller villages. Wine festivals, or pasta making workshops, really get you to experience the culture from a grounded perspective, since you interact with the locals more, and get a better understanding of the local lifestyle. (Just my 2cents.)
Wow. That was insanely helpful. I just wrote down a full A4 page of tips just from this video. THANK YOU!

So informative
Thank you for the helpful tips.
This is so helpful! thank you!
Benvenuti a tutti.❤❤❤
Great video Thanks❤

I went to Italy in 2015 I went to the touristy spots Sorrento, Rome and Capri Island for my first time traveling international anywhere it was my top country to see next to Greece I did these two together had a amazing time. I definitely want to go back and visit the lesser known areas I love hidden gems I'm not a crowds person definitely love traveling shoulder or off season I just worry about it raining a lot which I hate but overall Italy is a beautiful country.
Crete was really cool, large island in Greece . We stayed in Heraklion. It’s a college city. Really cool alot of hot chics

I dunno when I’ll ever go to Italy. 228 days left till October.
We’ve been to Italy 2 times and rented cars, rode trains, visited museums and attractions and you are spot on with all of these tips!
Pamela, my wife and I are headed to Venice later this month and she is coming back by herself in late Sept. One of the things we want to do is take the train from Venice, to Florence and then onto Rome. Christina advise not to get the tickets at the train station, so where is the best place to buy them?
Great tips!
Dziękuję za te przydatne informacje!!!!
A true pleasure explore more and more about the city through your eyes. Greeting from IRAN 🇮🇷 ❤
Hey Frank And Frankie here Love the vid thanks for the tips. Headed to Rome in February.

Hello Christina. Thank you so much for your video. I am planning an upcoming trip to Venice and your video could not have come at a better time. :) quick question. You mentioned that you did a sunrise tour in Venice a few years ago. Would you happen to have the tour operator information?
I've been here and it's a beautiful place
My favorite place
Thank you so much for this video, it was perfect timing for me as I am going to meet my daughter in Italy during her school break the first of march. However it will be cold and most video's are locations to go in the summer. Do you have any favorite places that would be great in the cold?
Can’t wait June 2024!
Something that I actually found out about the food in Italy specifically with spaghetti and meatballs….they actually do have it over there, it’s just served separately so if you ask for it, you’ll just be asking for spaghetti and the meatballs will come on the side.
spaghetti and tiny meatballs is actually a typical regional dish from Abruzzo and only from Abruzzo. but they are tiny tiny tiny meatballs.
Not only Abruzzo but also in Apulia (it is a common family dish). Meatballs in this region are displayed on top of pasta. They are called "polpette" or "polpettine" (when they are smaller). It's common especially in a small region of Apulia called "Salento". PS : I apologise for my poor English.
Lascia perdere. Le polpette con gli spaghetti sono cibo per cani.
My husband and I love your videos and we are planning to go out on our own in August/September and he has just had knee replacement surgery. Do you have a video that would help us find less touristy areas and more slow paced for a couple of country bumpkins?
Hey everyone - hope you all enjoy this video about Italy travel tips!! Feel free to comment any more tips I might have missed & check out the written version of this guide for more: happytowander.com/italy-travel-tips/
wow good video!
Happy Wander, I love all your videos. I am traveling to Rome in April with my husband we are not young 64 and 63 so we walk slow 🤣🤣🤣 Hotels are so expensive. What area should I look at Airbnb maybe safe area in Rome? 😬
Thank you so much!!! We're planning a September trip and this information is so helpful! I know you're not a big fan of Air Bnb anymore but what is the best lodging option for a family of 6? ( 4 adult children)
Che bellissima paese
good stuff
For tips #11: if you can't validate your ticket because the machines are out of order, just write with a pen the date and a hours you are boarding the train: that count as a validation.
nice video
Thanks for watching!
thank u!
What a fast-talker she is. But she gave so much informations. Very knowledgeable about Italy. She must’ve been there 100 of times lol
Woww this is amazing... Just found you and had to subscribe 🙂....
Can you tell me if you feel April is a good month to plan for Italy or if you feel any other destination ln Europe will be a better option for a 1 month trip..
Hi Chris can u advise how early we shud buy train tickets to travel intercity n do we need to validate tickets bought online?
I lived in Italy for 38 years and cherish every corner I have been to, reach out if you plan on going again!
No pizza for lunch! Don’t get yelled at like we did. 😂 Also, a ROSE peddler in ROME stuffed roses into my bag as I walked away. He tried to get money from my son, who said, No, give them back! 😂 I laughed because mama has the cash! Can’t wait to go back! 🇮🇹❤️
Nice.
Really good information! I just wish you would slow it down a little. You provide a lot of information at a rapid pace!
You can slow the video down in the settings
Itailian meatballs do exist over there, especially depending on area. I have a friend who her and her family lived there for 3 years. Her mom gotnan rescioe from their landlords wife. Granted thay she didn't give the whole ingredient list, just most of it. This was back in the 70s/80's and kniw oldernladies back than, even the italian ladies. They aren't going to give all their secrets away.😊
Congrats for the gelato tip.
I was just saying this to a friend of mine last week but I thought that was a super niche thing to know or realise:
NEVER get a gelato from a shop that displays you the flashy gelato flavours. NEVER.
Normal Gelaterie keep their gelato hidden - never displayed- and have it of mild/natural colour .
And this is also one of the reason why I really cannot find decent gelato outside Italy (living abroad). They are all usually not good. The whole set up is usually wrong (and receipts)
Ah thanks so much for the kind comment! It should definitely be more commonly known. Life is too short for average gelato!
