As a fellow venetian I can confirm that all you said is completely correct, it seems like you know the city really well and it makes me truly happy that somebody being born 10.000km away from my country chose to come here
Grazie, all excellent tips. As a Canadian who stayed in Venice for the month of April 2022, I can confirm that these are things all tourists need to know. One DO I might add is to learn a few phrases in Italian, the basic please, thank you, good morning, where is the bathroom, how much does that cost? It is so appreciated when you at least try. I had a wonderful time living in Castelo like a local and going to places not many tourists take the time to see. Venice is enchanting, the history amazing and the people are wonderful. Yep, the food is pretty darn good too. Esplorare Venezia, trova i suoi tesori nascosti. Innamorarsi del suo fascino 💖
Venice has always been a very economical holiday for me. I go for around 4 days, rent an apartment, buy groceries from shops and the early morning boats that bright fresh fruit and vegetables to their piazza market stands and eat one or two meals in casa each day, walk, and catch traghetti (the functional, mostly standing, "ferry" boat gondole that locals use along the Grand Canal) for about 2 or 3 Euro, and only go out to eat or drink in local or establishments off of the well trodden tourist trails. I usually spend, with the rental shared with one or two others, about €30 to €50 per day in total. When I've been by myself, I've stayed in a nunnery to make the trip even cheaper, and keep my money for the galleries and museums.
One thing TO DO is to walk on the right, not the left. I was thoroughly told off by a local for walking on the left. I have been 7 times now and I am returning in November and will keep to the right!
I have always found Italians lovely, helpful, and VERY courteous. I work at being respectful, and over the years have learned to get along in Italian, but even when I only knew Grazie and Buongiorno, they never failed to reciprocate. I usually rent an apartment, and I often receive little welcome gifts from the owners, and in turn I leave then a thank you gift. As for the Venetians or Veneziani, I LOVE chatting with them and getting to know them, and find the SO FRIENDLY, even in the most tourist trodden paths, they respond very well to anyone who makes an effort to treat them with respect and not as service (I saw an American in this feed refer to them as Venusians, but they are not from Venus, and call the locales "rude." I'd be rude too with tourist who did not know where they were or could not be bothered to learn). Fare una bella figura and sempre cortesia.
Not sure. My experience was horrible in Venice: got shouted at very rudely twice. I am very polite and always greet in local language entering & leaving the establishment. I was refused to be served at a Bar/deli and fruit shop because I didn’t speak Italian. Not only refused but shouted at. After Venice, I travelled to Paris and despite not speaking French my polite Bonjour and smile was reciprocated by warm welcomes everywhere. I am traveling again to Venice for the art Biennale this year, hope it’s a different experience.
I love Venice it's my most favorite place to vacation. The people are so kind and friendly and helpful. I would live there year round if I could. Happy Easter friends
Thanks for these helpful tips on what not to do in Venice! Planning my trip and these insights will definitely come in handy for a smoother and more enjoyable experience. Can't wait to explore this unique city! 🇮🇹✨
First time I watch your videos. I just subscribed, of course, and I promise I will follow your advice in June, when I visit the city for the second time. I love Venice.
I agree with most of what you said except for one thing. Venice has little to no benches, so that forces people to sit on steps and other areas. If the city doesn't like people doing that then they should invest in some benches. Other than that, Venice is one of my favorite cities to visit.
This is fantastic. You guys are super helpful, and funny. I'm not even 1/2 way thru this video, and I need to subscribe and watch more of your travel videos. Thank you much! I've been to Italy a few times (not enough!) and am ashamed to say I have never tried the cicchetti. Celiac here, so that will be difficult, but I will try to find some next time!
My first visit to Venice was part of one of my first international trips. I had not yet learned to pack light, and somewhere i got the idea I should pack all that stuff in more small bags rather than fewer large ones. As a result, my partner and I ended up with FIVE bags total. My partner was disabled and unable to carry any, so it was left to me to lug them all from the vaparetto stop, over countless cobblestones, and over several bridges, to our hotel (and back at the end of the stay). Needless to say, I learned my lesson, and Venice was a very good teacher. Guys, thanks for another good and helpful video. I'm returning to Venice in October (with one suitcase). Lucky me!
Thank you 🙏 I've booked to visit Venice in September on my own. Hopefully will see you both as somepoint 🥰🥰 Hopefully my trip will be wonderful ❤❤ I went to Italy so many times from past with my Ex as he used to work in Sorrento but now he working in Thailand (this time will be my first time on my own in Italy) So let go!💃
Some good tips here. I second the suggestion of a trip to Murano, it's great and not as busy as the obvious spots. The old ghetto is worth a visit too as is the nearby Kosher restaurant.
We are visiting Venice from Sacramento California right at this moment on Monday, September 11, 2023 for a week and enjoying your video, getting ready to walk out the VRBO door to use your suggestions!👍
Thanks for your video - we were there in February for a Sixth visit but the first in twelve years We went for four nights and stayed in a small hotel Walked everywhere and so didn’t need to use the vaporetti but did enjoy the view from every available bridge! We’ve done St Marks and the Doges Palace on our first visit and have never felt the need to revisit them Went up the Campanile in St Marks at around 10 am one morning At that time on a February morning we didn’t have to queue but were fortunate with the weather so had a great view We found glass to be cheaper in Venice than Murano We certainly used the quieter local restaurants and have never had a bad meal in Venice For breakfast we would recommend the canal front bars for croissants and coffee Want to go back again now!
I agree on all your points with the caveat that sometimes you need a big bag -- like if you're staying in Venice for two full weeks during Carnevale and have costumes with you as well! 😆But to your point, if you need a big bag, take a private water taxi to/from the airport or train station right to your hotel. It's expensive, but you can't walk through the city dragging a big roller bag on those stones and through those crowds.
We are visiting Italy for the first time next April and I am a big fan of your video's. The tips and advice you provide and are helping to take a little of the stress out of the planning--and are just fun to watch! Thanks so much for posting these!!!
I'm in Venice at the moment, if you need to drop your bags at your Airbnb, then by all means do it. Many people still do and so did I. I visited St, Marcos Vasilicca yesterday and went to Doge's palace today, the experience was awesome. Every morning we have gone to Dolce Vita for awesome pastries for breakfast. We started our travels landing in Rome immediately went to Venice. Here's some advise, invest in a butt pillow for the loooong plain ride and for any long train rides. Get a European sim card and bring your European wall outlet and or adapters.
Excellent video and super helpful! My wife and I will be travelling to Venice for three nights at the end of June for our 30th wedding anniversary. We will certainly take your 'Don'ts' to heart. I'm looking forward to getting lost a time or two. 🙂
Seeing this video makes me excited about our upcoming trip! It's been a long time since I've been there and it was the most magical place I've been, in my 3 months touring around Europe
Generally, Canadians don't have any problems. In fact, just learn a few sentences and phrases in Italian (and importantly, how to say, "Sono Canadese") and you'll be fine.
We splurged on private tour of St Marks and Doge Palace. Well worth it to bypass the crowds, get into some usually off limit areas, and really learn the history. Torcello is fascinating for those especially interested in the history of the area. Also look for concerts, many performed in being old venues.
Great video guys 😊👍🏻 I’m visiting in April for 4 days and thank you for the tips this will be my second trip there but I was only there for one afternoon 😳 so really looking forward to seeing more and especially Murano and Burano !
Thank you for your video! Had no idea that the skip-the-line pass existed! Do you recommend a website to book gondolas? I see some websites offer gondola rides at 35 euros pp verses the standard rate of 90 euros. It seems too good to be true.
Actually I found all the pavements really smooth and regular, no cobblestones or uneven bricks. It was also very clean. I was there two weeks ago. There was no smell from the water either, but perhaps things are different in hot weather.
Thank you for the video, very informative and useful! I have a question, I did not see many people with strollers on your video, are toddlers (15 month) old babies too young for the city? Thank you for your feedback!
Getting a vapperato pass is a requirement on a visit , going down the Grand Canal at night looking into the palacios with the marvelous chandeliers is wonderful?
Excellent tips. Subscribed. Going to Venice for the 1st time in 3 days time and watching your tips are very useful. Definitely explore Venice during night time. Just had a question, skip the line tickets- can we get one for all three major places to visit as couldn’t see one on your link. Thank you 🙏
We are catching up on all your great videos, thank you so much. We will be in Rome, Florence and Venice, 3 nights in each next April. Hope there will not be any train strikes when we are there. And hope that Liberation Day, San Marco festival on 25 April will not spoil my wife's birthday in Venice. But at least she will get a rose on that day! From Thailand!
If you want to avoid the prices of the gondola, don't forget to take the traghetti along or across the grand canal with a boat full of locals! The more time I spend with locals, the more time I can avoid tourists, the more enjoyable my visits have been. P.s. Rick, you are a lovely ambassador for Canada. Humble, sweet and respectful. How is your Italian going?
I'm going to Venice next week. This will be my first time visiting. Can you recommend a couple of authentic restaurants, please? I live in Utah. This will be my first time out of the country. I'm so excited! Thank you in advance! :)
We had a very good meal at Al Covino, it is a very small place where only locals go. Also we really liked www.bacaroaebricoe.com for lunch, this is in a very nice area without tourists
Great Video guys! I´ll be visiting Venice in October, arriving from the Dolomites mid-morning and cannot stay but one day before heading to Croatia the next morning. I´m planning on parking the bike in Mestre (looking for a nice Hotel by Mestre Train Station with secure parking?) and spending the entire rest of the day in Venice & Murano. Any tips or Hotel suggestions appreciated. Again... great video!!
Thank you so much. We have made another video about Venice where we show all the best areas for hotels here it is: ua-cam.com/video/PJxGIbXI30Y/v-deo.html
Thank you. Here’s more information….. Following a May 2019 revision to Venice's existing rules, visitors now risk a fine of $27 to $550 for being caught doing any of the following in public: Leaning against storefronts Picnicking Lying down on public benches Feeding pigeons Buying from street traders Standing still on bridges Drinking on the street after 8 p.m. Swimming in the canals Affixing padlocks to bridges Wearing a bikini Being bare-chested Riding a bicycle in the city center Walking a bicycle through the city center.
I just came back from Venice. We did not fed the pigeons per se, but everytime we were having dinner outside, they were on the floor ( sometimes on top of the table next to our) waiting for some food. We even saw a pigeon picking through a basket with bread left on top pf the waiter's service station. They are everywhere and fly very low sometimes. We enjoyed it just observing them.
Great Video guys. It's surprising that you even need to tell people what not to do. We are in Florence now until Monday then to Rome for a couple of nights. We will be back in August and stay until the end of September. Would love to bump into you. I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks.
@@TravelAddictsLife Hello guy's. Hope all is well. We are going back to Italy for a couple of months. Home based in Florence but will do a few overnighters, which brings me to my request for help. We are going to Naples for 3 nights but not sure where to stay. We want to stay in the historic part of the city. Is that a safe place to roam around or would you recommend a better area?
You mentioned a fun thing to do is take take an inexpensive gondola ride to some lesser know places. Any suggestions on where to go and where one would get an inexpensive gondola ride? Thanks so much!
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
It all depends on what are you shopping for. The two most typical things to buy in Venice are glass and masks. Be sure to buy them from a store that sells the one actually made in Venice and not in China.
12:00 Memorize the graduation song if you are visiting in April! (Also be aware of the group running the streets in kilts in the first part of the month they are like the pigeons, they will sing to you if you give them a drink)
Thank you for your comment. We made another video about Venice where we talk a lot about parking you can check it here: Best way to go to Venice - An easy guide to reach this incredible city ua-cam.com/video/rMa-K93EPBo/v-deo.html let us know how you like Venice
Hi! My wife, 13 year old twins and I will be traveling to Venice in July. We are arriving to VCE airport but would like to stay in Lido for both nights (visiting Venice one day). Is there a way to go to Lido directly when we arrive? We will be with all of our luggage (probably 4 carry ons and 2 larger suitcases). Thank you!
Are there suitcase storage at the train station? Or do i have to leave my suitcase at the airport? I will go to Pisa next and prefer not going back to the airport.
@TravelAddictsLife thank you. I'm heading out soon but nervous now about war in Isreal and protests killing my tours. I see protests in Paris and Rome on the news.
@@TravelAddictsLife do you think tours are suspended in Rome next week? I want to be there Wed thru Sat. Do you have tours you recommend for Rome? Thanks
Hi I’ve been twice to Venice but never alone. As a single female traveller would you say it’s safe for me both night and day and where do I buy a vapporetto pass please ☺️
Thank you guys I wish I had watched your video before I went to Venice, its a beautiful & unique city so much to enjoy but yes going to the wrong restaurants or areas, you will be ripped off big time, look for no cover charge restaurants your bank account will thank me 😂
Are there any traditional Venetian foods that are suitable for vegetarians? Everything I find seems to be all seafood based 😭 I don't want to miss out.
Great video again, We are staying in Mestre next to the rail line at the best western, are there late trains to and from the city of Venice as I will do what you recommend and stay till maybe 10 pm at night as we have 3 days there , regarding the water bus( sorry forgot the name) can you get 3 day passes. an you also suggest a nice Restaurant in the back streets , My wife in Vegetarian. Thankyou you guys
We are a family of 9 adults and 2 kids, coming to Venice this coming weekend to commemorate one of us 40th birthday. Do you have any recommendation for a traditional and cosy restaurant in Venice? (not very expensive). thanks
Hi, love your channel! Just wanted to ask your thoughts on which to visit in Venice, the doges palace or St Mark's Church? The skip the line tickets for both are too much for a family of 5. Visiting from Sydney in April 2024. 🎉
The Doge Palace is definitely our pick. One thing you can do is to go to St. Mark's very early when they just open and wait in line maybe it won't be too busy. Then after the Church go the Doge Palace with the skip the line
One big one that wasn't mentioned: Don't stay in Venice overnight unless you really want to spend a lot of money. It's much cheaper to get a hotel in Mestre and then take a train or a bus to Venice and back. The ticket is really cheap, the ride takes less than half an hour and there are many trains and buses operating throughout the whole day, from early morning to late at night. It will save you a fortune, the hotels directly in Venice are very, very expensive. Probably like 3 or 4 times more expensive than the ones in Mestre.
Sleep is Mestre , in the mainland. / You can relax in cheap, silent multi- storey hotels or even camping parks cheaply, they even have swimming -pools amd wellness facilities...., you can even do your shopping in big shopping centres for food like Tesco e.g../and come in daily by regular coaches, buses that the locals also use....Venetian Hotels on Canal Grande are expensive and fully booked, and packed... Buy a puclic transport ticket for X days or even 2 weeks or a month, acc. to the length of your journey. If you stay longer you can use trains that leave from the heart of the city. Travel in June...no more rains and no mosquitos yet. Use Vaporettos with your tourist travel ticket and you can see the Lido, San Erasmo and other Islands any times a day. Try to spend less, visit shops, art galleries, churches, free programmes.
Rick/Andrea, question - me and my family are visiting Venice soon. We have a 1 year old. Should we take the bus to the Santa Lucia train station or get a one of the boats from the VCE? Which one saves more time?
@@TravelAddictsLife Yes im aware. So which option is best. from Marco Polo airport? Using the Boat? or take the public bus to Santa lucia from the airport?

Thank you for your video! Had no idea that the skip-the-line pass existed! Do you recommend a website to book gondolas? I see some websites offer gondola rides at 35 euros pp verses the standard rate of 90 euros. It seems too good to be true.
Thank you 🙏 we used this to book our gondola: readysetitaly.com/venice-gondola the €35 pp usually is a shared gondola with other people
Excellent information
We're going tomorrow for a week..
Thank you 👌
Thank you 🙏 let us know how you like it
Actually I found all the pavements really smooth and regular, no cobblestones or uneven bricks. It was also very clean. I was there two weeks ago. There was no smell from the water either, but perhaps things are different in hot weather.
Absolutely a helpful video that every traveler needs to know before visiting Venice. Thanks to both of you.
Thank you so much 😊
Thank you for the helpful advice and the video. My friends and I will be visiting Venice for the first time in 2 weeks.
Thank you 🙏 let us know how your trip goes
Great advice it may be small but it is huge to get around. So much to see and not easy to traverse without some maps etc
Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for the video, very informative and useful! I have a question, I did not see many people with strollers on your video, are toddlers (15 month) old babies too young for the city? Thank you for your feedback!
Thank you 🙏 The only problem with strollers in Venice is that there are a lot of stairs and you will need your carry the stroller up and down
Getting a vapperato pass is a requirement on a visit , going down the Grand Canal at night looking into the palacios with the marvelous chandeliers is wonderful?
Indeed it is 😊
Excellent tips. Subscribed. Going to Venice for the 1st time in 3 days time and watching your tips are very useful. Definitely explore Venice during night time.
Just had a question, skip the line tickets- can we get one for all three major places to visit as couldn’t see one on your link. Thank you 🙏
Which 3 places are you thinking? We know there is a skip the line for the Doge Palace and St. Marks basilica.
Thanks for good trips. We will be visiting Venice in Dec - Not sure if any special recommendations for winter season 🙂
You will enjoy it, in December there are less tourists so you can enjoy the city more. 😀 let us know how your trip goes
@@TravelAddictsLifeI’m going this month can you refer me a tour guide
Thank you for the tips! 😊👏 One hint, the subtitles are sometimes funny, e.g. local venecians = editions, and don'ts of Venice = Sylvanas 😅
Thank you for the feedback 🙏
thanks for your advice. we are traveling by car. what do you suggest we do with our cars while in venice
Hello there, you can leave it the garage in Piazzale Roma just make sure to make a reservation
Thank you 🙏 Sweyne
How u from Thailand but got a confederate flag up haha

I love your channel. You gave giving me so many tips. Thank you. 😊😊🇨🇦
Thank. you so much 😍
If you want to avoid the prices of the gondola, don't forget to take the traghetti along or across the grand canal with a boat full of locals! The more time I spend with locals, the more time I can avoid tourists, the more enjoyable my visits have been.
P.s. Rick, you are a lovely ambassador for Canada. Humble, sweet and respectful. How is your Italian going?
Thank you so much for your kind words 😁
I'm going to Venice next week. This will be my first time visiting. Can you recommend a couple of authentic restaurants, please? I live in Utah. This will be my first time out of the country. I'm so excited! Thank you in advance! :)
We had a very good meal at Al Covino, it is a very small place where only locals go. Also we really liked www.bacaroaebricoe.com for lunch, this is in a very nice area without tourists
@@TravelAddictsLife Thank you! 🙏🏼
Excelente video !!!! Grazie!!!! ❤😊
Thank you 🙏
All truths! I take the Alilaguna to Vaporetto to del Giglio when staying.
Add a cruise to the Greek islands for an amazing trip with a few days before and after in Venice.
I that is wonderful let us know how your visit goes
@@TravelAddictsLife by far our favorite cruise , you are in a magical place every day, been going for over 20 years.
Which are the most economical and good hotels for tourists to consider which also offer breakfast and free Wi-Fi ??? Thanks !!
Thanks! Can't wait to use your tips on our upcoming visit!
You are very welcome, let us know how your trip goes
Thank you. Here’s more information….. Following a May 2019 revision to Venice's existing rules, visitors now risk a fine of $27 to $550 for being caught doing any of the following in public:
Leaning against storefronts
Picnicking
Lying down on public benches
Feeding pigeons
Buying from street traders
Standing still on bridges
Drinking on the street after 8 p.m.
Swimming in the canals
Affixing padlocks to bridges
Wearing a bikini
Being bare-chested
Riding a bicycle in the city center
Walking a bicycle through the city center.
The pigeons in Venice are very skilled eating off tables 😊did you enjoy your visit?
Great Video guys. It's surprising that you even need to tell people what not to do. We are in Florence now until Monday then to Rome for a couple of nights. We will be back in August and stay until the end of September. Would love to bump into you. I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks.
Thank you Jeffrey! It would be great to bump into you! Keep us posted!
Your videos are always very helpful and informative. Thanks much.
Thank you 🙏🏻
You mentioned a fun thing to do is take take an inexpensive gondola ride to some lesser know places. Any suggestions on where to go and where one would get an inexpensive gondola ride? Thanks so much!
You need to go to the Rialto market and get the gondola traghetto
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Thank you 🙏
nice tips, I live 30 km far from venice...
Thank you 🙏
Will be there 3 nights with my partner ( he is on the wheelchair). How much is the ticket per person for 3 days for the water bus?
Great stuff guys. Here with my wife in Venice. Any tips for cheap gondola and cheap food
Thank you 🙏 unfortunately gondola have a fixed price, but you can take the gondola traghetto and that one just go across the grand canal for €2.50 👍🏻
Be going there Sept 15 hope to see you there
Hopefully we will 😍
Thank you so much for a great sharing. I hope if you would interested in Asian countries such as Cambodia.
We will!
@@TravelAddictsLife I appreciate that.
I will be there May 2 and 3 leaving for cruise on the 4 th. So excited to see Venice. Where is a must for shopping?
It all depends on what are you shopping for. The two most typical things to buy in Venice are glass and masks. Be sure to buy them from a store that sells the one actually made in Venice and not in China.
@@TravelAddictsLife Thanks for the clarification, many people don't understand the difference and buy inexpensive but Chinese items
12:00 Memorize the graduation song if you are visiting in April! (Also be aware of the group running the streets in kilts in the first part of the month they are like the pigeons, they will sing to you if you give them a drink)
Thank you
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for this helpful video, please tell about car parking? I'm going to visit next week..

Thank you 🙏🏻 yes it is safe to walk around
Thank you!
Hello there, there is a direct ferry boat from the airport to Lido. It takes 59 minutes here is the map: www.alilaguna.it/linee/linea-blu
Thank You! ❤Venice❤
We are glad you like it 😊
Are there suitcase storage at the train station? Or do i have to leave my suitcase at the airport? I will go to Pisa next and prefer not going back to the airport.
There is a storage place at the station
@TravelAddictsLife thank you. I'm heading out soon but nervous now about war in Isreal and protests killing my tours. I see protests in Paris and Rome on the news.
@mlee6092 so far we haven’t seen anything in Venice
@@TravelAddictsLife do you think tours are suspended in Rome next week? I want to be there Wed thru Sat. Do you have tours you recommend for Rome? Thanks
@mlee6092 we did not hear anything about canceling tours. So fare here in Italy nothing really happened
Thanks for the tips.
Thank you 🙏
Hi I’ve been twice to Venice but never alone. As a single female traveller would you say it’s safe for me both night and day and where do I buy a vapporetto pass please ☺️
Venice is very safe, there is always people around. To buy the tickets you can use the kiosk at the train station or at any vaporetto stop
great suggestions. thank you much.
Thank you 🙏
Thank you so much for the tips
Thank you 🙏
I’ve been to Venice on three different occasions on tours.
Would you recommend more local authentic restaurants in Venice please?
Thank you guys I wish I had watched your video before I went to Venice, its a beautiful & unique city so much to enjoy but yes going to the wrong restaurants or areas, you will be ripped off big time, look for no cover charge restaurants your bank account will thank me 😂
Thank you 🙏
Thanks so much guys🛫
Thank you 🙏
Are there any traditional Venetian foods that are suitable for vegetarians? Everything I find seems to be all seafood based 😭 I don't want to miss out.
There are a few vegetarian options for sure, for example the typical raicchio of Venice that is prepared in several ways is delicious!
Thank you Steven let us know how you like Venice
You can get 3 day passes,
Thank you for the tips! We are going in 8 days. Is there a way to do a gondola ride without having to pay the crazy price of 80 - 100 euro?
You can try the gondola traghetto that costs only €2.50 it is. It as romantic but it is good for photos

Should I visit Chioggia or Mazzorbo?
If you have time you should visit Chioggia
We are a family of 9 adults and 2 kids, coming to Venice this coming weekend to commemorate one of us 40th birthday. Do you have any recommendation for a traditional and cosy restaurant in Venice? (not very expensive). thanks
Last time we went to this restaurant and it was wonderful maps.app.goo.gl/KqWsPQa9C1rWetzv7?g_st=ic
Thank u ❤
Do you have to book to see the glass blowing?
No you don’t usually it is pretty easy to get in
I will go on November ,is it the wrong time i choosed, wil it flooded everywhere?
No it is actually an ok time to go because there will be way less tourists. Flooding ca happen in any season
Just a side note: venetian baccalà (bacalà mantecato) is made with stoccafisso, i.e. dried cod, NOT salted cod!
I went there in summer 2006 had a great time but it’s difficult to get to by plane.
There is a nice airport in Venice
Yes, I do have a question. How do I get from my hotel near San Marco Square to the Fusina Pier dock 4?
Get boat #2 “Giudecca- Zattere” stop.
Take boat #16 from Zattere stop to Fusina.
im flying to venice in may

We are not sure what are you asking. You want to go from Santa Lucia to where?
@@TravelAddictsLife We have a hotel inside Venice near St Marks Square. What would you recommend traveling with a 1 year old? Boat or Bus
@sherwinnelvis8632 😃there are no busses from Santa Lucia to San Marco only boats but you will be fine with a kid 👍🏻
@@TravelAddictsLife Yes im aware. So which option is best. from Marco Polo airport? Using the Boat? or take the public bus to Santa lucia from the airport?
@@sherwinnelvis8632 From the airport probably the boat is better because you can go to Piazza San Marco with no changes.
I would like to add: don't miss out on drinking spritz, and for added Venice points, ask for the version with Select.
Excellent idea 😃
