Thanks for the information about the pass. The next time we go to Venice I'm booking a hotel in the city and stay for a few days. We stayed at a cheap but good hotel in Mestre and took the train in every day.
Hi Guys, It's kismet! I will start my journey in Italy in magical Venezia and I was online booking train tix to Ravenna when I found your channel. Your transportation "How Tos" (esp in Venezia and La Spezia) and specific but critical tips were a godsend. The level of detail (when and how to validate, how to navigate, etc.) is so appreciated. Learning about the Vaparetto and various modes of public transit makes this Geographer, Air Quality Planner's heart burst with joy. CANNOT WAIT. Thank you!!! P.S. Rick - You in the waters at Piazza San Marco... Died. Hilarious!
Love your videos! You two answer some really good questions that are nice pieces of info you don't often read in other travel websites. We have a question. We are going to do a 12 day trip, Venice -> Florence -> Rome -> Sorrento. We originally were going to do 3 days in each city to keep it simple, but are thinking we want to make Rome 4 days, so we are trying to decide on cutting Venice or Florence to 2 days. Which city (Venice or Florence) would you recommend 3 days, and which would you recommend 2 days?
Thank you for your kind comment. Both Venice and Florence can be visited in 2 days however if I have to pick I would spend 3 days in Venice and 2 in Florence but that is just a personal preference.
As always very informative and great tips. I was wondering if Murano and Burano were worth the trip, it seems that they are I will check out your videos on them. I still hope that I can buy you guys lunch/ dinner when I am in Bologna on December 19th. ☺😁 thanks for another great video!
I really like your videos because they offer good advice. I plan to visit Italy with my son and his wife at the end of May. We plan to spend one night in Venezia, three nights in Livorno because I lived there for 20 yrs and three nights in Roma. I am brushing up on my Italian language because the last time I was in Italy was 1980. Should we spend a night in Firenze? Any other advice ?
Hi, I'm a new subscriber. We have plan to travel to Spain, France, and Italyin May. Which way is more convenient: 1.Paris to venice to piza to Rome 2.paris to rome to piza to venice Regards
Hello, I will be in Venice soon via Florence train. Can you tell me how do I get to the Marco Polo airport from staying at the Venice hotel. Is there a bus that will take me directly to the airport or do I take a water bus? Please let me know the best transportation route. Thank you.

Hello Feryal, we think that number one would be a little easier for you.
