Hello, Watching this early 2022. Frst i would like to say a big thanks because you taught me InDesign. Back like a year i watched your Indesign get started of about 5hrs and boom i can now make something from Indesign, Magazines and so forth with other knowledge i know from PS and AI. Thanks much
Hi Terry... when i click on media window after placing the media file, it does not opens...at same time if i click "Animation" or "Timing" window it gets open. may i know why it is happening?
But doesn't Publishing Document require an internet connection to view it? That would be a deal breaker as there are more situations when internet access is NOT available than IS available : (
if i want to publish this on my website, the link shows that its done on Adobe. Is there any other way to not reveal that i have done it on an Adobe Software
Hello and thanks for the videos. I think you may have answered my question. I'm trying to put a GIF on an Indesign PDF. I think you said that that was not possible and that it had to be a video instead. Here's my problem. I use Constant Contact for Eblasts. I convert my videos to GIF's on-line and all is well. The problem is that I need that same file to be a Interactive PDF... with the GIF. Is that possible? Please help. :-(
Instead of "timing" each step, can you command the next step by hitting the arrow key on the keyboard? For example, I have bullet points of information but as I'm presenting, I want to click for when the next bullet point should appear.
Interactive PDFs are hit or miss because they were based on the old Flash technology and even then in order to guarantee that the users see the animations they would have to view them in Adobe Reader. That all fell apart once you could view PDFs natively in the OS and other applications.
Thank you for your time..but what is the solution?..I must send the client the design or the portfolio so that he can see it..I do not have to tell him that you have to download a specific program to see it..
Is there a detailed tutorial for your animations? I would like to learn that and your videos / works are really great! I am particularly interested in the part from minute 29:48!

Thanks for video. Any idea why adding animations might disrupt transparency effects on the page?
Thanks for the great video! How can I play different sections of text one after the other?
Hi Terry, is it possible to run one single sound track across multiple slides without the music stopping each time a page is turned?

Is there a way to have the indesign file play all at once without clicking?
Terry, can I save this as an interactive pdf file?
Matthew G the animations don’t show in PDFs.
EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED! For some reason though, my hyperlink won't work in the online publishing export. Can you think of a reason why ? THANKS!

No, PDF does not support animated GIFs. More info: ua-cam.com/video/XW-dvtI6g2U/v-deo.html

This can be done with in5's presentation mode. Shown in this livestream: ua-cam.com/video/G-6zHOMtbKw/v-deo.html
Is there anyway we can make the animations play in an PFD file?

Who's here for the 1-year anniversary prize mentioned in the video? 👍

I know it's probably super simple, but how do you do the scrolling animation referenced at 30:57?
Is there a detailed tutorial for your animations? I would like to learn that and your videos / works are really great! I am particularly interested in the part from minute 29:48!
InDesign is greatest at the world! None of so call substitute programs is not even close to be serious competitieve.
Ok this is awesome
So now gets serious. Is there a way to export an animation as an video file? Best regards
Not from InDesign. You'd have to do a screen recording of the output.
ممنون يا ذهب
Thank you!!! I can going to go make things cool!!
