Hey, thanks for this helpful tutorial. Is it possible to create an animation and to export it as a kind of video data? Want to create some pages an combine them to a video. Or is other software recommended for the discribed purpose? Thanks in advance!✌️
Hey Mitch. Great question! I am hoping one day InDesign allows you to export a simple video or GIF, but for the time being, unfortunately not. Here's a workaround I do quite often. Publish the document online and use a Screen Recording software (Quicktime or Windows equivalent) and clip the area you want to record. Refresh the page and let the animation play out a few times and you now have a high-quality video file.
Hi Angelo, I'm following you from Italy. I wanted to ask you if there is a different way to distribute interactive files without having to publish them online. Maybe if there was a practical way to pass them on to a customer using a PC or phone / tablet. Thank you again
Hi Alex! You can export for EPub (Fixed Layout) and view it in an e-reader such as Apple Books. The other option is exporting as HTML and hosting on your own site, however this is more complex and requires some coding experience.
@@AngeloMontilla Hi Angelo, thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately here in my part the epub format is not widespread. I'll try with html .. Your videos are always a bomb.
@@AngeloMontilla Would love to know more about the HTML option. I'm looking to introduce interactive PDFs at work, and I think they will want the files hosted on their site, not Adobe's. Thanks!
Thank you Angelo for your videos! but i have a problem... when i import the psd with background and subject and then i hide the background the subject go automatically with a white background... did you know why?
Hi, thanks for this fantastic tutorial. Do you know what other Adobe software has animation presets like this (fly in, fade in, etc) that I can then export as a gif or something that will work with social media campaigns? Thank you in advance. : )
@@AngeloMontilla Thanks Angelo. Would you mind pointing me in the direction of a couple of the tutorials you've done that would best demonstrate this kind of thing? Thanks a million!
my animations are not working in pdf interactive it is showing in preview but when its is exported animation is gone the animation is go to next state and else plzzhelp
Yes, it'll work in a mobile web browser or offline using an e-reader for Android. There are many but you need to find one that maintains Fixed Layout and animation. The best in my research have been Caliber, Adobe Digital Editions but please try Google Play Books as well.
This is so helpful, thank you for creating this tutorial! 😺

Amazing work! Where would I go to hire someone to help with creating animated content for my client projects?
very helpful thank you, Would you allow me to ask a question about how to make an animated mock-up like the end of the video?
Thank you Angelo for your videos! but i have a problem... when i import the psd with background and subject and then i hide the background the subject go automatically with a white background... did you know why?
for example if i hide all the lvls the backgrounds is still white. but in the original psd file no whites there...
ok is a bug. if you have a non rasterized text on psd that would happen.
Could this type of file be exported as PDF?
Hi there. No, this won't work for PDF.
Great. Ok not all people have Apple. How to do it for windows users, Android, etc?

Great question! I do a lot of Adobe Animate tutorials, which does same type of actions and allows you to export as video, gif or publish for HTML.

People putting dislike. I can't understand
You do realize the usage of tablets is 2.5% vs 39% desktop & 58% mobile. Great video though, much knowledge gained.
Oh thank heavens I dont have to use powerpoint
