How do you get rid of the overset indicator when you don't see or need whatever is triggering it? There used to be a way (maybe it was in Quark or very early InDesign) but it was shift/command/enter. Doesn't seem to work anymore??
Hi Terry, I have a text-threading question. Is there a way to reverse the text-thread priority so that the last frame is always filled? For example, I may have a set size to jump a story to, but more flexibility on the first frame. I still want standard left-to-right, everything else normal, but it fills from the bottom up
My client gave me a Word document of 1000+ names and I'm using your text thread method to lay them out. Are there any special characters we can insert into the Word document that will dynamically tell InDesign to make it a frame break? Your videos are very helpful. Thank you!
Hello from Miami! I discovered you today. Great setup and great info. I'll be sure to follow you :) thanks for the tips. I actually wanted to find out how to insert a blank text frame (new pages of a book) between 2 threads and get it connected... I'm working on a long book and just learning Indesign ;o/
Now we just need an EASY way to text thread between InDesign documents. I know you can use conditional text, but it’s not great when designing on deadline.
You are an excellent teacher!! Thank you so much.
Thank you so much!!! You just answered a bunch of questions that i absolutely could not find answered elsewhere.
Thank you very much, I watched a few videos before and only your video helped me!
Excellent stuff, Terry. Thank you very much!
Frame Break! You have saved me so much time. Thank you
Great refresher course, as ever! Helps me get out of my lingering Quark mentality...
Thank you for that. The Story editor item was super helpful for me.
Hey Terry,
Say I have 2 separate threaded tables, is there a way to combine them in one thread?
