Holy freeholy...that's a Massive ship...and ohhh...a massive duck!😂 Wow!!! Indigo truly looks Amazing!!!😍 We're not much into gambling, so we'd probably not even notice! Lol Nice...love mini golf. Grab and go sounds great to me!👍 Very cute kids club! And of course I'd also play a few games! Lolol Always a pleasure to see and hear all this information from our favorite Cruise Director!!! Thanks So Much, Buddy! Hope Everything is well!!! 😁🤙👊
Yes, it was a huge duck! I’m still not quite sure what it was all about 😂 We spends ages in Indigo and didn’t trouble the casino once! Many thanks for watching and all good here, I hope everything’s going great for you and your family.
Excellent tour, loved our walk with you!! Fried bread!!! Wow haven’t seen that for 20 years!! Must say in general it looks great for its age, maybe a bit worn on deck, but inside 👍 Glad entertainment was good, it’s big strength of Tui. Really need to get on Marella prices just so high in school holidays. Thanks for sharing.
Only 1 person out of our group tried the fried bread and only because they thought it was a hash brown 😂 Keep an eye out for deals, we’ve booked for the Explorer 2 for Easter and got a decent deal. There were lots of kids on this late October sailing so it depends why dates the schools are closed.
Thanks Darrel, we watched your video on the marella discovery and found it very useful, for our 1st evercruise earlier this year, so thankyou, When I saw the Explorer video, I had to watch it , we are booked to go on the Explorer next year and i found your video tour very helpful , I will probably watch it a few times as there is a lot to take in, thankyou for taking the time.e to do this informative video
Many thanks for watch and commenting, I really appreciate it. If you have any queries feel free to ask? Explorer is a lovely ship, I hope you have a wonderful time onboard.
your ship tours are always very thorough, you cover every inch of the gangways ☺️ buffet looks fantastic 😋 love all the amenities how fun to go dancing 🕺 happy sailing! 🛳️ thanks for sharing ✨

We are sailing in January, first time Marella, thanks for all the info will be very useful! Hoping to have the afternoon tea for my Birthday! fingers crossed it looks amazing!
I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time. We asked about the afternoon tea at guest services when we boarded but as it was very late we were told that it was booked. Then we were approached by a crew member who asked for our cabin number and said to leave it with him. We got a letter in the cabin the following day and the man who spoke to us was the Captain himself! Good luck getting a reservation on your Birthday 🥳
Very good. I enjoyed that. We sailed on explorer from Southampton just after lockdown. Going to Canaries on her Mid April 2024 ( Next week ). Sailed with Tui / Marella about 13 or 14 times now. Loved every one of them. Jim
Wow! You’re the Marella expert then, I got off Explorer 2 on Tuesday and had a great Easter cruise. Have a great time in the Canaries, it’s a great time to visit 👍
Wonderful video! I love that this cruise is fully inclusive. We just disembarked from our first cruise today, we enjoyed it so much. Can’t wait to go on our next one, maybe we’ll try Marella!
I hope that you had a great time on your cruise, who did you sail with and which ports did you visit? The post cruise blues are real, especially when there are some great deals out there. Many thanks for watching ☺️
@@ALifeintheParks No video, I took a lot of pictures though. My husband and I have a 13 month old so we didn’t have much time to take videos in between chasing him around!
We're are on the Explorer in March next year for a cruise around the canary islands, this will be cruise number 14, looking forward to it after the Covid and other health issues.
Sounds like you have been needing a cruise for a while then. I hope that you have a great time, I traveled to the Canaries at a similar time last year and the weather was perfect. Many thanks for watching.
Just spent Christmas on the explora. We had the best time ,and would highly recommend it to anyone. The Surf & Turf is well worth the supplement charge.

@@ALifeintheParks Its the Atlantic Islands 7 Night ruise from Tenerife,I did one many years ago on Thomson Celebration, looking forward to sailing on the Explorer,Sailed on Marella Voyager in September and a lot of people recommended the Explorer
@@carrington57 That’s a great itinerary, I was on a similar one with P&O in February. What was Voyager like? I’m very tempted to book after how much I enjoyed Explorer.
This is a great looking ship. I could tell it was aging a bit. But it looks pretty good for a ship from 1996. Lots of cool public areas, restaurants and shows from the looks of it. Fully inclusive - including your flights? That is a great deal. Except for the ice cream which is a small upcharge. Is the Great Musical Afternoon Tea included in the price of the cruise?
Yes, everything is included in the price and knowing the ship will wait for the place to arrive is a great. The Great Musical Afternoon Tea is extra but it was only £15 and was a real experience, more to come on that very soon. Many thanks for watching ☺️
So mother in law just booked for the marella explorer for us for next may in corfu croatia Montenegro and slovenia.....im not a big boat fan so id like to ask your honest opinion. How much motion did you feel when sailing?
It’s a small ship by modern standards and the only time I felt any real movement was when we were in a storm on the last evening and the top decks were closed off.
Just back from one week on the Marella Explorer, and can only describe it as Benidorm at sea with a lot of Butlins style entertainment, and I'm no prude, I would imagine she will be getting hacked to pieces in an Indian decommissioning ship wrecking yard very soon. A lot of areas smelt of open drains, poorest quality buffet ever seen (on land or sea) with maybe 4 evening choices of very poor quality food as was breakfast and lunch....................The places visited were very nice, but as for the ship its a true saying, you cant polish a turd.
Marella ships aren’t for everyone and it’s always good to know what things are like before you book. I feel that much of your criticism could quite easily be said about P&O, even with their newer ships. Which ship has been the best that you’ve sailed on?
Many thanks for watching, if you enjoyed it please give it a thumbs up and if you haven't already, please subscribe to keep in the loop on upcoming videos

@ALifeintheParks we start at corfu so weather wise sailing for corfu did you find it okay?
@twistedwelshtv3800 Yes it was a perfect sailaway from Corfu.
Why does the ship looks old, small and dated?
It’s a ship from 1996 so isn’t like the floating theme parks of today but perfect for those who want a traditional cruise with great service and food.
