Is it just me or comparing it to other ships it looks a tad tired, especially on the decks, looks more of a ferry with a few extras than a cruise ship, no offense meant on the video it's just interesting how different they all are

Glad you said that the size of the TV didn't matter. Can't understand why people want a 48in TV on a cruise, as if they spend all day in the cabin watching TV! Last went on Ventura in 2018 and loved her, prefer her to her sister ship Azura.

We have just been on this bank holiday. I’m well impressed. We did MSc yacht club in may. Hangers great. Totally recommend this ship. Loved it. Staff were so helpful. Food brilliant. The shower liquids etc great standard. If you do main dining we added the extras on as amazing. Pimms and the cocktails great. Bed so comfortable. I would take luggage off with you it’s easier. Straight off. Buffet always good. Always tables. We will be back

I’m here now 08/26/24 The ship is worse ever. They taking away sunbeds from pool area at 7 even if people wants to stay. They taking away Cushing from outside sofas!!!! Why??? Where We should to sit? No schedule regarding sport area! I have a kid 3y.o. - lifeguard banned to swim in regular pool, just in kids pool, but kids pool for 1-2 y.o. Kids! We will never choose NCL again.

Yes I will be on the Apex . It's a great ship . I sailed on her April June this year on a Scandinavian cruise. It was fantastic . I would recommend it. Have great time

Have you ever considered visiting the Queen Mary down in Long Beach? She's a historic British ocean liner, among the largest and fastest ships in the world in her time, and served reliably from 1936 until 1967. This included service as a troop ship in the second world war, where she broke the world record for the most people on a single ship - 16,600 troops on a voyage from Sydney to Southampton. In recent years, her American operators have encountered hardships, even filing for bankruptcy in 2020. In 2023, she reopened fully to the public following still ongoing extensive repairs and renovations. The ship is genuinely a sight to behold, and I believe now they're running package holiday stays aboard the ship.

Having been on the Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas on a Med' Cruise.. The thing that I would add from my experience is their poor quality of service and attitude of the staff. Whether it be because tips are charged automatically and consequently the staff have no incentive to give good service or maybe try to crack a smile once in a while. Though, other cruise liners have the same tipping policy and they dont seem to have such staff attitude issues. Perhaps it was a rare occasion... All I'll say is that I won't bother with Royal Caribbean again.

Having just got back from our 2 weeks on the Explorer 2, I must congratulate you on an Excellent Video. Very well narrated, also very logical, thorough and accurate. You've given the ship all the credit it deserves. Maybe adding something about the Broadway shows would have been another deserving point, as the shows were excellent. But as for a walk through of the ship and it facilities you've covered everything and made it enjoyable to watch. So much so that we wont bother reminiscing through our own photos and videos, we'll just watch this video again instead. ;-D We've just subscribed and look forward on your reviews of other ships. Small cabin but they do take advantage of the space. The bathroom reminds me a bit of a travel trailer or RV.

I love that there’s a kettle and I really wish we had kettles commonly in our hotels on this side of the world 😂 too bad no usb sockets but looks like a nice room! Oh how my wife and I been dreaming of taking a cruise! We're hoping to save up for one next summer. God Willing.🙏 Not sure if we've ever used UK outlets but wait, No USB plugs?!?Wow! Definitely a decent sized cabin. Doesn't look too outdated to us, but then again, we haven't been on a cruise since 2015..lolol The balcony looks very nice. Cozy and private. Didn't know they had a Guggenheim Museum there. Thought it was our own thing here in NYC! Lol That's one Huge puppy! Excellent video as always Steve. It is quite poor in my view, royal is not cheap, then dock miles away from advertised port and get everyone to pay on shuttles! Bilbao looked ok, was it worth the shuttle price? A fun evening onboard!
