For a few months, while on the interstate my s500 (RWD) traction light would blink like it was slipping and kick off cruise control. I could always turn it back on and it would be fine after that (it maybe did it once every two hours). Now after a few months of limited driving, the traction light comes on under moderate acceleration and i can feel the rear wheels slipping. Could this be related to speed sensors? I haven't had any lights come on.
Hi Brennen - slipping wheels is a sure sign of bad speed sensors. Another is actually hearing and feeling it at the pedal. The best way of course is to have a scanner that reads and displays speed sensor data.

You're welcome. It could be any of the speed sensors. Get the car scanned, purchase a scanner, or test with a volt meter.
Why can’t I find any videos on the rear speed sensors? Is it complex?

@@masood-tv no the wheel sensor. I'm working on 1 that won't shift. 7 codes 3 say front left wheel speed sensor implausible speed.

And, in my case the ESP/ABS light was on, too. Had me guessing as to Why. I picked up the iCarsoft mb V3 and did a scan and reset. Problem solved.
