In these stressful times, I'm so thankful for channels like this. I subscribed to your channel last year. I absolutely love the creativity you put into your photography. These stormtroopers bring me way back to when I first saw STAR WARS in 1977. It hit the Big Screen just five days after my seventh birthday.
When I was a kid, I used to put my Han Solo in a metal cup of water at least a couple times a month, so I could carefully thaw it just enough around the edges to slide out onto a towel. It was my way of encasing Han in carbonite. In retrospect, I wish I had photos of all my action figure battles.
For a month, I had my Indiana Jones climbing the wall just outside my second story, bedroom window. I wish I'd thought to take photos back then. I had a blast setting up so many massive Army men battles outside, or on rainy days, my brothers and I set up our platoons inside. We'd make their bases out of dominoes, or even tons of collected popsicle sticks. We used rubber bands inside for ammunition, as well. My Tinker Toys were great for building bases, as well. They even made great ammunition, too.
When we were outside, we would use pinecones. Just setting them all up for battle was so much fun. 🙂
Thank you so much for watching! I’m so glad you’re enjoying the content my friend!
Sounds like your childhood was full of awesome toys and even awesomer imagination. Really glad to see these videos can bring you back to then 🙏😄 thanks again for watching!
No matter how many times I watch one of your videos I'm always blown away by them. Thanks for your invaluable tips and abundance of inspiration. I've something planned out for an indoor toy photography shot.
Wow that is so kind of you to say! Thanks so much for all your support 😮🙏
@@sirdork730 You're welcome. You deserve the praise. 😎
As I am almost only shooting indoors, this was very interesting for me (I am old enough to be Jared's dad - saw Star Wars when it came out - so running around shooting toys outside would somewhat alert the neighbours...).
Darn Jared, you pretty much inspired my new hobby last year! It really helped me through cabin fever during lockdown! Thank you for your work!
Wow I’m so happy to hear I had a part in your toy photo inspiration dude 😮 thanks so much for watching and supporting!
Inside or outside, shoot your figures with pride!!!! 😆 you’re awesome dude, keep doing what you’re doing 👊
I've tried the digirama when I first started toy photography and yeah, it can be really hard getting the shot right without all the glare and reflections from the screen. it's something I plan on messing around with, especially since it's now so cold out here in MI. I've been wanting to do a series with a couple of bored stormtroopers telling bad jokes and I was gonna either do this as a digirama or have the background printed up at like office max.
It’s definitely a tough on to pull off! But practicing and trial/error really helps! Sounds like a cool idea dude! I’m sure you’ll pull it off!
Yay , I m indoor toy photographer n this helps lot.
Thanks so much for watching!!!
I love the kitty drinking fountain! My Fella has to have one! Great video! Love the tutorials. I always learn so much.
Thanks so much!!! I found this water fountain on Amazon! Venom loves it!
I can't wait to try everything I learned from you. Thank you brother.
Hey thanks so much for watching! So glad it was helpful!
This channel is amazing. He is also a talented photographer too!
So glad you think so chad! Thanks so much!
Hey i am still doing toy photography and i still love your videos. Please keep doing whayt your doing because i think its great
Will do! 👊 thanks for all your support my friend 👊
I mainly shoot indoors and lately have been doing the digirama (think that's how you spell it) thing. It can be a life saver for backgrounds but one thing I've learned is not to put your figures too close to the screen. I find a good 6 to 7 inches away works out well. Great video! 👍
That is a great point! If you’re too close, it’s easy to pick up the flatness of the screen! Thanks so much dude!
Another cracking tutorial mate - excellent work as always 👍👍
Thanks so much dude!!
I just started doing indoor photography and I love it! But did out door a lot so the editing and being able to create a shot is awesome. Thanks Jared 🙏🙏🙏
cool idea and clever to use plastic! because of the weight
Thanks so much man! I appreciate you checking it out!
Fantastic video Jared! Really educational 👏
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!!
Fantastic video. You covered so much and so well and the shots are so fantastic. I'm very inspired! Thanks jared

Fantastic as always.

Great tips in this video Jared! You really set the bar with the practical effects and figures interacting with real world elements! Thanks for the inspiration!
Really appreciate that dude, thanks so much! ❤️❤️
I have been waiting for a video with your cats in. Me and my colleague watched it at work, and there were a lot of awww, how cute, awww going 😻
Aw that is so great to hear! Thanks is for appreciating the cats spotlight 😂 and of course for watching and supporting!
Thank you for making this video!! I was struggling with digiramas but this really helped!
you're amazing!!
So glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!!
Love the intro man! And great tutorial!
Thanks dude!!
I think you could do a scene like in a bath tub or sink so u can get an explosion of water if the tap turning on
Great idea dude!! 😯
YAYYY I was so excited for this video!!!!!
Yes!!! 😆😆

Moin Jared,
ich hab auch schon mit unserem Kater ,er heißt Kalle, ein Foto Shooting gemacht 🤪 ein Horde Trooper hat ihn mit einem Lappen sauber gemacht 😬 tolles Video
Greetings from Germany 🤖
I've done digi romas for a while now. And never knew it had a name or anything like that. Tbh I figured this is a trick that folks have been doing for many many years now. Never knew a certain one pioneered this trick.
great video! I was wondering if you have ever tried or know of a way to create realistic looking fire or lava for indoor shooting?
Thank you man really.....
Thanks for watching dude!!
Great video ,noticed your new camera good step up
Can you do more mobile photography tutorials ?
For example lowering the exposure with a black background will basically make it look pitch back ( the background ) stuff like that
Love this video. Indoor toy photography can be tough! For the Goku picture, what did you use to keep Vegeta floating? That's one of the hardest things for me 😂
Thanks so much dude! Really appreciate that! I cut up a clothes hanger and bent it! 😆
@@sirdork730 that's a great idea! I'll have to give that a try 🙌🏽 Thanks man!
Thanks you😎
😍😍😍😍
So you do all this cool stuff with plastic figures but how about a video on stuffed animal photos?
How long has you photography been around ? I think I would like to try this.
Toy photography has been around for a while! It’s an amazing thing to get into!
Toxin and Venom are so cute!! I will show up to your house in about 2 - 3 business days to steal those cats of yours
Oh yes this this ticket all the boxes
What did you use to place R2D2 and Grogu on for that digirama?
I put them on a small mirror!
Top notch drool boca
What gauge wire do you recommend for holding up 1/12 scale figures in flight poses?
Does real snow count for the ice challenge
No sir! Must be ice! 🧊🧊🧊
Thanks
do you have any terminator figures?
Dude how did you do the shot at 1:14 I feel like you had such a short time to set up the can perfectly before all of its contents empty out lol
Hey Seva!! 2 seperate photos, one of captain America holding the empty can, the other one of me pouring the glass 😂 then a bit of photoshop!
@@sirdork730 that is some amazing aligning, I can't even tell haha
Haha!! Thanks dude!!
where can I find the digital dioramas?
The digital dioramas are just pictures on the computer screen. Go to google and find whatever picture you want!
Hi
Trata de ponerle subtítulos en español, por favor, es interesante su trabajo.
Hello, thank u for sharing such very good contents and for inspiring all of us as well. Pls, have u ever been charged due to character copyright or something like that? I mean supposing im gonna trade the stuffs i will create... Take care.

Really appreciate the feedback! Thanks for watching!
