We decided to spend 6 weeks on the road driving through Norway this summer. Our old camper van did its best in providing us the means to explore every as much as possible in the time we had available. Was it worth it? What can you expect from doing a similar journey? Come along to watch how the trip went, did the van survive? Did we get to see the things we had planned out? Welcome along our 2022 summer adventure in Norway!

What a beautiful country... Anyone in the comments who did a similar trip this year?
Yes my favourite was geiranger.
Yeah we did 😏
@@Danj9201 This sticky comment was aimed at you guys😉
@@realrawt great place😊
I spent three weeks in Finland over June/July visiting my late father's first cousins. I hit as many Finland national parks & waterfalls as possible and capped the trip off by driving up to Nordkapp. (covered 6.5k km - very expensive rental car mileage charge but was well worth it) You folks live in beautiful lands! Thanks so much for sharing!
All your videos have inspired me to go to Norway, the very top destination on my bucket list. Keep them coming guys
Thank you, it means a lot!👏🏼
Stunning beautiful photography and adventure. We also had to change our fridge. The space down the side we used . Found a slim plastic diesel Heater Fuel tank and used it for drinking water. Also found a rechargeable usb water pump. Having the drinking water down side of fridge keeps cool. Video in my Playlist if you want to watch. Its called" DIY Draw. Motorhome Drinking Water. Battery USB Water Pump." Cheers from old George and Jane in the UK.
Will check it out, thanks!
Finally! Depression sets in without y’all’s videos!
Haha, gotta post more often from now on!
So stoked the Norway Van vlogs are back!🇳🇴🚐 You’re aerials are on another level! 🤯
They somehow always return after the summer months😅 Thanks mate, I appreciate it!
So so beautiful
Thanks, we’re spoiled!🇳🇴
Awesome impressions, as always. Thank you. Next time we wanna join :-P
Thank you! We’ll be on the road somewhere in our unmissable blue van😅
Love your videos. Looking forward to our trip next year along with a visit to family in Lillesand.
Thank you! Sounds like fun, Lillesand is really beautiful.
Thanks for the first episode of this new series. Just great!!
Thanks for watching:)
Great to have you guys back….it’s been too long!
Thank you! I agree…
You make me sooo envious. I visited Norway decades ago in a VW like yours and long to return. I just bought a Ford Transit AWD camper van and intend to ship it from the US and retrace your route. I'll stay tuned.
Oh wow, that’s cool! I hope you get that dream fulfilled, I guess a new Transit will make it a comfortable experience compared to an old VW😅
Wooohooo well done mate 🤣 stunning as usual 😍
Made it before 2023, woohoooo!! Thanks😃
@@SimonBraeck 🤣🤣🤣 I'm genuinely impressed how soon you've got it out ;)
@@Danj9201 people are commenting they get depressed without my uploads, I take this very seriously👀
Your country seems to get more stunning with every new video. It on my bucket list to visit. Thank you
I have missed you guys and your blue Vanagon Camper. Another video filled with stunningly beautiful Norway. I must visit your wonderful country.
This summer I replaced the push rod tube seals and the oil pressure sensor on my 1978 VW Camper Bus so it would stop marking its spot with oil every time I parked. I also reset the points and timing, so not only is it not polluting the environment, it’s running like it has some power. My wife and I are making a fall leaf peeping trip next week in our home state of Wyoming to Cody, Yellowstone Natl Park, Teton Natl Park and Jackson Hole. Hopefully we don’t get snow.
Looking forward to episode two.😎👍
Truck Noris looks great. Happy to see new videos from you. We'we been in your beautiful country this year. Due to bad weather we'we been sourh of Trondheim, Molde and atlantic road. The original plan was Lofoten, but no problem, we'll attempt it next year
Thank you! Really digging his new upgrades and the new wheels and tires made such a difference in my opinion. I see, the summer this year was terrible weather wise. But like you said, there’s always next year!
As always, an amazing video. Beautifully executed and the scenery is amazing.
We did our 3 week norway tour this August and drove from Senja to the Lofoten Islands and then the west coast / fjords down to the south.
One thing that I was so amazed by was how blue the water is. Even in your video, it looks so surreal - you can't believe it until you have seen it with your own eyes :D
We loved your country so much and hope to be back soon!
Also, on a completely unrelated note: Norway has definitely been the cleanest and tidiest country I have ever been to! remarkable :)
Happy to see the three of you again. I’m looking forward to the series my friends.
So glad you guys posted new videos❤
Thanks, finally! More to come👏🏼
So beautiful view and relaxing
Thanks😊
Can't wait for next episodes. The narration and the co-ordinates of the places and the candid photos. Everything is on point. So happy!
Thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it
Hi have been watching you videos for a while now and the photos and filming is great , watching you Norway trip brings back fond memories when my mate and I spent three months in Norway back in 1985 driving around in an 1974 1600 vw van fun times keep up the great videos thanks
Great video 👍
Thank you :)
Cant wait to see the rest of your adventure!!! Hope to be able to see it for myself one day! 👍👍
Thanks! Fingers crossed🤞🏼
Really enjoy your art of storytelling and cinematography! It feels like there's always something new and epic to discover in Norway. Can't wait for ep. 2 🧡
Thank you🥹 I will get to work🤓
He looks good with a beard. I can’t grow a beard like his. Mine is a patchy, fuzzy beard like a teenager. I loved the upgrades of the van! Brilliant mug shelf! Gotta have coffee! 😂
Amazing!!!
Cheers!
Great upgrades to Norris.
Really nice video shots again.
Enjoyed the view in the morning from
The mountain Woow…
Rgds from Germany
Glad to see you both back! I’m currently in the Lofoten and working my way south, excited to add some more things to my list!
Thank you:) Must be nice now with the fall colors. So much to see, good luck at filtering out where to stop:)
Steike Simon, dette var kvalitet👏👏💪💪
Takk for det Øyvind😊👏🏼
We are on the Lofoten right now and following your guide we‘ve bought. Worth every dime! Love your vids
Real good to see you again , in the area i like the most , the Lustrafjorden , Sleeping on top of the mountain near Solvorn and Urnes . Only that beard is a change ;-) . Looking forward to see more movies . Thanks!
Oh how I've missed you all and your journeys!
W❤️W! Stunning! Cheers for more awesome and incredible adventures!🥂❤️✨
thanks for posting, hopefully one day soon we will visit your beautiful country.
Love it, I just watched other videos on some days ago and I was wondering when there will be something new :D and here we go!
Loving Norway, you show really cool places, Molden is one of the best for lookout on Lustrafjorden, and I see glimpse of Sunnmøre coming, cannot wait :)
Haha, what a coincidence! I totally agree, seems like you know what’s about to come 😉
Awesome guy's cheers 👍🏻
Thanks☺️
Love the summer Norway series! It’s so cool that you’re still exploring your own country. I guess there’s no reason to go anywhere else when you live in Norway ❤
You guys are amazing
Thanks! :)
Good to see you back guys...👍👍
Just amazing scenery, fantastic waterfalls. Great to see you back.
Thank you! I appreciate it☺️
I'd love to take our campervan to Norway! Hope the trip is amazing for you!!
Beautiful! Looking forward to more!
Another epic video! Great job guys. We really enjoy watching them and we are so in love with Norway. One question regarding your dog as we also have one that we take with us wherever we go. Do you always keep yours on a leash? Is it mandatory in Norway? Our dog usually runs free unless we are in some national parks or reserves that require to keep the dog on a leash.
Thank you😊 Not all the time, but there is a general enforcement to keep dogs on a leash during the summer months, because of the free roaming sheep and cows all over the country. People tend to disregard this if they are in areas without kettle or if their dog is extremely well mannered both in regards to wildlife and other hikers.
Great video 🎉. Soo beautiful. My family and I have finally got our dream and will be there in March. Can’t wait to discover my heritage. Thanks for all the inspiration through out the years. Not sure what we will be able to see due to weather but will do best. Any suggestions can’t wait for next video 😊
Good to see you again and some more stunning sights of Norway. Enjoying the energy and enthusiasm you have exploring and every turn has something great to offer. The van layout is looking nice and looks cosy to spend time in. Your dog is beautiful and seems to love the adventure along with you. Great video! and looking forward to seeing the next part.
Thanks, we’re always on the hunt for new places :) You’re right on, really enjoying the upgrades in the van and Zulu knows that being in Norris means being on exciting adventures😃
Good job on the video!! And the music combination! Thanks!!
You guys are an absolute vibe. My wife and I recently purchased an 84 vanagon with an AAZ! Twins! Anyway I can’t believe everything you experienced in this one video, and I can’t wait to see what comes next! Pure beauty
Thanks Jack! That’s so cool, best of luck with your «new» old timer :)
wow such a beautiful country to travel & i really enjoyed the video
Очень рад снова видеть вас!! Невероятно красивая природа! Надеюсь, что мне удастся так же попутешествовать на своём т3, как и вы!! С любовью из Санкт-Петербурга!!))))
Great video! So much inspiration
I love Norway 🇸🇯🥰 it's a very beautiful country in the world... Norway is all time my favourite country
Amazing place and vídeo!!!
Great to see you both again, Simon, and wonderful Zulu! Great video. Your country is stunningly beautiful! 🇳🇴
Thanks!🤗
I love your video's! What an amazing scenery. Can't wait for the next episodes!
Thank you so much🤗
Dude I love the film pictures incorporated in the video!!! May I ask what type of film camera you have? Love the videos guys!!
Gorgeous scenery, good story, fantastic footage, GREAT edit, wonderful couple! Looking forward to the next episode! 🙂👍
Thank you very much😊
Norway is so stunningly beautiful. I’ve only ever really explored it from the sea. We’d love to drive it. It’s so green and clean. That first waterfall was incredible. Your drone shots are out of this world. We look forward to watching this series. 🍻
That was a pleasant surprise and as usual, a visual treat. Good to see the interior upgrades too. After a first overnight excursion in ours, I think we need a few!
Nice to see you guys back and posting! Thanks for sharing as always! I finally got my Westy done and hope to share some adventures soon! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you guys while I waited for mine to be restored! Best wishes and safe travels!
Thanks to your videos I fell in love with the Norwegian landscape. This summer I visited Norway for the first time and it was beyond my expectations! I am looking forward to the other episodes in this series so I can get some ideas for my next trip 😍😊
Been waiting for this and you didn’t disappoint, can’t wait for the rest of the series 😁.See you have some upgrades on the outside of the van also.

Hey
Great video and shots 🤩 Whats the location or name of the place where you borrowed that boat? Looked so nice 👌
Hey! Thanks! Unfortunately, I must keep some of the gems to myself. So many former “hidden places” that are mainstream in Norway, so I try to encourage people to explore new places on their own✅
Hi! Amazing scenery. Have either of you spent time in Ireland???
Hi! We have not been to Ireland yet, only seen some parts of Scotland and England.
The scenery is breathtaking! Can you tell me the name of the place with the lake and boat?
So beautiful ❤
Gigantesque

Hvordan er kjølevedskenivået?

Nice to have you three back! What a trip!! Happy to see Norris back in shape with the new engine, should give you a more reliable partner on trips. What's the power like, compared to the old engine?
