It is important to separate the military from the police. For they have very specific & yet, different roles. Yet, U.S. Police behave as if they are the military, and they play dress up as if they are the military. They are not. Seems to be a bunch of delusional flunkies who couldn't even make it into the military if you ask me. Just my opinion comrade. Also, maybe it's important if you not refer to police as "authorities". They do not have authority over tax payers. Your incomes are merely piggybacked by government, transformed into 'taxes'. Government gives them living wages with your wages. These police simply are paid to protect your rights, protect Constitutional Rights & uphold the all Laws in USA. Least that is what they are supposed to do. He is never aggressive, except for this one single time, and he remained lawful even after the unjustified shoving he experienced. He was denied justice because their hurt feelings, which is the most un-American thing I can think of. He is a veteran and practical joke loving citizen that needs all our support.

It's usually not a good idea to curse at police, but it is still a fundamental right. The U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals said so in a case from Arkansas. As a cop was citing one driver, another motorist passed by and gave the officer an earful. That led to an arrest for disorderly conduct in Thurairajah v. City of Fort Smith.

Learn to win in court WITHOUT a lawyer! As LIA said, our justice system is broken and lawyers are part of the reason for that. Jurisdictionary/How to win in court without a lawyer is a great place to start. Dr Graves course is very good for gaining the knowledge needed to move through the courts. At $250 it is less than a retainer fee for an attorney. Invest in yourself and your future!
Request a review from the Iowa Judicial Branch on their website. It's done through an unbiased agency (supposedly). If successful, then the case will likely get thrown out (just like the judge should).
Click on "complaints" on their website, and fill out the appropriate paperwork. I wonder what would happen if their inboxes got flooded with complaints?

The travesty is the lawyer taking 20k to represent you on a misdemeanor. It’s also a travesty that the legislators removed a citizens right to appeal and left them subject to the court that finds you guilty to begin with. That should be enough to sue over because it effectively denies your due process.
At the local level, the lawyers, and sometime judges and others, discuss among themselves what they are going to make a client pay to be represented, and who is allowed to take a case. They have many ways of keeping attorneys in line. The attorneys must have known what he was recently paid, and that he was passionate enough about the case to spend it. While a client is explaining why he was wronged, the lawyers are evaluating the client's personality and ability to pay. The attorney bar does not have as a mission to assure that clients are treated fairly by lawyers, rather their mission, usually expressly in their mission statement, is to protect the profession, which is another way to say that they need to keep the graft going.
I guess it has always been like this. The difference now is the scale of it, there are just more people now, the ability of people to communicate on platforms like UA-cam, and now the word is out to take the money 'while you can'.
Ultimately I fault the federal police forces for not prosecuting corruption cases. It has long been their policy to let politicians be politicians, and to let voters sort it out. They are told not to meddle in elections, etc. However, the social dynamics have changed such that this approach is taking us to a bad place.
Although I don't particularly like his language, I support him being able to use it, And the Supreme Court has already ruled that it is Constitutional.
So how is he convicted and sentanced to jail?

After turning himself into the jail with ptsd medications and prescriptions, they confiscated them and left him without them for 5 days even as he was suffering from chronic migraines. They then issued him
"other" medications that he now has to pay for instead of receiving HIS existing meds.

They are all kangaroo courts. By their own admission they are a defunct. They will take more tax money soon to get up to standards. No worries
The goal of the local courts is to separate the parties from their money, to incarcerate those are a threat to them, and to get cases that are no longer profitable out of the system. Records are not published or studied, and are only indexes on indices that make it very difficult to assemble evidence of what they are doing.
I normally support free speech. However lewd words are not free speech and can be restricted. Using lewd verbage, ordering an officer to perform a sexual act on him... Not covered in free speech.

Thank about it. They are peace officers we employ for extreme circumstances, and our representatives have listed those circumstances in laws. They are highly trained and part of an organization that works to maintain professionalism. In contrast citizens come from all walks of life, and have all sorts of mentalities. No one wants to cause a person who is dealing with issues to have a harder time of it.
Policemen are not up on a pedestal, and can not demand respect from people or arrest them.
Of course, having said that. Personally I believe we should respect the dignity of all people, that of course includes policeman and veterans. But this is my personal choice, and I do not run the Church of John, and nor do I want police enforcing my beliefs.

I love the people that say, don't fight it in the streets, take it to court. When this shit keeps happening they'll force us to fight it in the streets.
