Stoked that I'm certain, CERTAIN that folks that see this that don't already lift on the regular will see the joy that can come from it. It's THE BEST one-player sport: it's just you vs gravity / you vs yesterday-you. And you get to watch that progress in tangible numbers. Setting that time aside for yourself, the dopamine hit of a PR, the moments of pure-meditative-focus mid-lift... it's a hell of an anti-depressant. So yeah, brothers and sisters and others, try it. Just... give yourself a couple months. Try it.

Just a thought….would be cool to have a third category for person with the best strength to weight ratio. Just to make it a little more fair 🤔 love these videos either way though 🤘🏻🤘🏻

You should consider using the Wilks score or splitting these up in weight divisions.

I have to give it to the cop he didn't use any gear no elbow raps or anything, so that's a little different because I know the feel of those elastic raps they do help. Still that lift from that strong man was unreal. lol

Dadbod here. The elbow sleeves aren’t elastic. I can fold them in half with my pinky and thumb. Less than 1lb spring back. More to keep elbows warm. And I’m not a strongman. I powerlift

Would like to see you do a similar video but something like ‘call your number, bench for reps’. Instead of one rep max, require 8-10 full reps for 2x $ the weight they select.
