    • @sullystpatrick
      @sullystpatrick Рік тому +26

      His arms seem "short" relative to his weight, if so that makes for a bench pressing edge. Less distance for the bar to travel makes all the difference in rep output. As a random example Dillon at 6:50 has much more distance to cover in order to achieve full lockout which makes high reps more difficult. Same principle applies to deadlifts, barbell squats etc
      Not to say Barkley isnt much stronger than a guy like #27 (7:53) who did 17 while also having short arms

    New update: I hit a new PR of 260 and now I can Rep 225 for 4-5 and hit 225 for 1-2 easily on my warmup sets!

That guy is even abit weaker now than when he was 20 and still active physicaly. Most guys in the gym cant bench 225 why would you think that average guy can can do good.

Its in every single sport, every super hero movie (with the exception of the newest batman movie), and even in your local gym where theres nothin on the line bcs they just enjoy the strength and the look. I even know a couple of my coworkers who dont play sports and work out very casually are open about it. Id bet any amount of money that some of these guys are on peds, even if to a small degree. That doesnt discredit there work, and its not calling them out bcs like i said, its in ever sport, but we need to be honest and transparent about it for the sake of those comparing themselves to these people without knowing, and for the sake of the health of those using.
