I loved mine. I had the same gun... 'til it was stolen out of my truck. I used it mainly for doors and closets. It sprays so much better than any other hand held I've ever tried. I even dropped it once from about 15' high onto grass with no damage at all. They clean out fast too.
you need to use a spray gun with crown next gen gloss its hasn't got much flow its the best performing oil gloss for holding the white but the worst to apply not much different to applying a acrylic
Love your videos matey, I've got 2 fitted mdf wardrobes to start Monday First time holding a gun in 2 years out the game fighting leukaemia, In at the deep end, Am quite expecting niagara falls, Wish me luck, I need it ha
Simon you got this , it's like ridding a bike you never forget how to ride one no matter how long it's been. You couldn't of started off with a better project, bare mdf , the wood will drink that paint up so you'll be able to adjust your technique while spraying between coats. Simon you battled leukaemia and came through, my older brother died of leukaemia so I know what how much it takes out of you. Them walldrobes are a walk in the park compared to what you went through to get healthy, you'll piss it. Just rember your distances between your gun and from what your spraying and you'll be fine. 🤜

Good evening Colin , great video by the way , i bought one of them just over year ago , got it for same reason glossing doors , don't think it worked properly from day one , i could never get consistent spraying it always stopped though spraying a door , and the cup always ran out , had keep topping it up , done my head in , washing it out with white spirits can be messy , i still have it in the bag came in used it probably 3 times , i did try using a Airless oilbase on woodwork , nightmare cleaning up also , But would like give ultra max one more go before try sale it , but doing more privates lately , and i do bit of subbie work , but that contractor to old fashion for a guy in his late 30's , keep telling him start spraying woodwork
Honestly some people are just stubborn and set in there ways to even consider there might be a better way of working. It can be hard to find the right consistency with some paints spraying through the handheld but I've got it spot on spraying the gloss, it's 1 cap of white spirit and you use the cap from the big bottles to every litre of gloss, use the blue filter and the spray setting is from 5 and upwards, I find spraying on 5 is the perfect speed for me to work at and I barelyget any blockages. Its worth giving it a try on that set up before you sell it .
@@camdecorations9779 cheers Colin next time i get a change il try it thanks for that , yes some dudes are so stubborn don't want change , when first sprayed gloss did it run at all ?
@@camdecorations9779 great. Thinking the ultra max will be my next purchase, and would love to no timings, as a lot of my jobs don’t warrant getting out my 390pc
Hello, esteemed Cam, you expect what is the best T93R Airless Tip size system for the interior wall. It gives an excellent, clean and elegant shape. Fitting T7 T380 spray head?
@@camdecorations9779 I got one out for the first time today and was undercoating with it and 5 seemed to be the right pressure, but it's the first time I've sprayed so I wanted to know what the professional opinion was
Hey cam hope your well been a while since ive commented on any thing, what tip are you using for gloss i havent tackeld it uet did the undercoat and found it was a little to much, iwas however doing frames fitted and the over spray was a bit much, luck would have it had not done walls yet
Im doing well thanks matt. I use a 410 on the doors , it a handy tool to have . I use mine in oilbase really and use my big sprayer for water base I've found you have to thin down waterbase paints a lot to make it spray through the ultra max , so it's just easier and less frustrating to use my big sprayer
Where using crown or dulux. My preferred paint is crown , lovely to rub down gives a great smooth finish and the paint is not to harsh on the tips . Not keen on spraying dulux really harsh on your spray tips and it leaves a gritty texture feel when you spray it , only slightly but its there.
I'm using a gopro hero 5 but will be upgraded to a hero 9 at Christmas, I thought ill treat myself . I've notice that the quality of my filming could be better so I'm just going to bite the bullet , spend the money and get a gopro 9
Hi Trevor, See you’re using symphony’s wrapping as protection. I heard they were quite good for wrapping kitchens? Any recommendations- cheers kent kitchen fitting
