    Great Great Great content! I love using the Graco fflp 310, 410, 308 and 208 for trim. Walls on the other hand are definitely better with the blue tips, the fflp tips are definitely way too slow and waaaayyy too fine of a coat. It makes touch-ups almost impossible after the rest of the trades ruin everything... It also shows far too many imperfections that disappear with a slightly more stippled finish. The information you gave in this video is pure gold for anyone wanting to fine-tune their finishing.

    Hi Colin I agree with all your advice I’ve been spraying new builds for many years all the same issues seem to reappear thanks for the fantastic input David Barker.

    Your right about the graco racx tips they do blend in nicely when touched up even with a 12inch with Rota sleeve and you do get your money's worth out of them. Have you tried the Wagner violet coloured ff tips have a few in the bag but haven't pulled them out yet, tend to stick with graco FFLP .10 range.

      No i haven't i tried a tritech ultra finish , didn't like them at all went straight back to graco. If you do use those wagner tips John let me know how you get on with them , I'm really interested to know what they are like. By the way I love those rota sleeves . Thanks for watching 👍

    Hi mate I’ve just come across your page and find your videos really helpful so thank you I just want to ask can you use a titan tip on a graco? Just out curiosity I have a graco 290 which I seem to be having a lot of trouble with and only purchased it about 6 weeks ago do you think I’m better off getting a titan 440 for doing 2 plots a week on site?

    • @camdecorations9779
      @camdecorations9779  2 роки тому

      A titan tip can only fit titan guards , wagner guards, and triech guards . It won't fit a graco , look a graco like an iPhone the makes are like Android phones all interchangeable. By the way, your 290 is not powerful enough for sight work, so yeah I would get the 440 , 390 graco tritech T4

    Watched a good few of your vids over the last hour or so, thanks so much for the tips and advice. I only really want to paint the odd room in the house or some woodwork projects with a graco ultra but it's all great info. I assume if you're doing all the walls in white and then one feature wall in a colour you just do the colour wall with a brush and roller rather than masking the entire room? Or would you just mask the immediate surroundings of that wall?
    If I may offer some tips for your videos? Try and have the daylight (windows, doors etc) in front of you when recording rather than behind you. Your camera tries to expose the image for the daylight behind you rather than for you so the image looks darker than it really is. In addition, if shooting video in a completely white room, you could try just adjusting your exposure compensation a little (can probably also be done in whatever you use to cut your video together afterwards). That'll brighten things up a bit and make it easier to see your face while also making the walls look more white than light grey.

      thanks for the advice , i'll take it onboard regarding your question i would just cut in and roll the feature wall , its a lot easier . thanks for watching

    Any advice on getting into "price work" spraying?

    • @camdecorations9779
      @camdecorations9779  3 роки тому +2

      yes make sure you work to a routine , that way you will work faster and have less misses in your work and dont be afraid to look at what over people are doing and if theres something you can take to add to the way you work to make you faster then take it. ive never had a problem telling other painters how i work if they ask me.

      I’ve used the larger tips in the past thinking that I would get more area done in a shorter time but it doesn’t work out like that so I wouldn’t suggest you wasting your money buying one. The biggest size that you will ever need will be a 6,21 I hope this helps.
