Ffs, some people love to complain!! Why they complaining about the amount of paint on the stairs? From one painter to another you're doing a mighty job mate. Experience skill and technique all on show here.
A nice calm narration no f@##@#g and blinding it's like david attenborough packed in the birdwatching and took a job bringing the joy of atomised coatings to the world.
Question: I have a Q-Tech airless and I've sprayed walls and ceilings a few times with great success. I was told that woodwork should be a Fine Finish HVLP system, yet you're doing a great job with your piston unit! What's your advice?
I would only use a hvlp if I was spraying kitchen units or wardrobes. On woodwork you can use an airless no problem, an hvlp spraying skitings doors and frames would take far to long. Thes best system would be an air assisted airless spraying . Not as quick as an airless but so much more faster than a hvlp and giving almost the same results. Going back to the airless as long as you use a fine finish tip you can get excellent results when your spraying the woodwork. Use a 310 tip nice all around tip.
Hello Lee I use a 4" Hamilton medium pile sleeve , excellent for glossing no lose of fur when glossing . At the moment I'm using Pro Dec ice fusion brushes , excellent for all paints great to cutting in , and lays off well only down side to the brush it starts to flare out and loose it shape after 4 months or so .
@@Nick-ci5qt he will be doing it that way as over spray on walls with primer undercoat is fine but if you get gloss on walls emulsion won't like going over that unless it's all key in (sanded) that's why I don't spray topcoat sometimes any way Colin might have his own reasons also topcoat can be a nightmare when the over spray settles on floor can be sticky!
Coll on my send house on new firm spraying acrylic I've notice some frames are not solid think I wasn't close enough can see ur may be 4 inch if max from wood work, will get closer next time, will touch in by brush in the morning, 1 liter to a gallon like u ,spraying wall in tomorrow then satin coating wood work next day thanks for all ur info
