      @@Zeithri
Tzimisce is obviously the best fit for him for a couple reasons.
      1. There is a fine distinction between the cenobite-style body horror Tzimisce of modern times, and the Lords of the Old Clan. The Old Clan Tzimisce really don't concern themselves with the body modification aspect of Vicissitude as they consider it a "virus" passed on by the Eldest to control their minds. Instead, they use animalism and dominate to control their domains. Depending on the edition, Vicissitude is just a corrupted form of Protean anyway, so the abilities and charareristic of the Old Clan Tzimisce best represent Dracula from the books and movies.
      2. The clan curse of clan Tzimisce was literally taken from the novel. In the novel, Dracula sleeps in coffins/crates full of soil from his homeland to retain his power. This weakness firmly places him as a Tzimisce.
      3. Tzimisce were the Dominant clan in the Old Country/Carpathians, and given that Dracula himself is from Romania it makes sense that of all the clans Vlad Tepes would be a Tzimisce. That said, Dracula is an anamoly as far as vampires go since he is extremely low generation for his age and possesses more powerful than most Methuselahs. Dracula is special even compared to other vampires despite his Tzimisce roots.

SchreckNet's primary purpose remains unspoken among the Nosferatu. Legend has it that their Eldest hates his vampiric offspring and wants them all dead. To that end, he sired the Niktuku; Obscenely powerful creatures fiercely loyal to their master with only one goal: eradicate the Nosferatu. More learned Nosferatu use SchreckNet to communicate rumors of the movements of the Niktuku usually in code and innuendo since mentioning them by name is a taboo.

It's the first time I'm learning about Vampire The Masquerade, the game lore is very interesting.
Nosferatu reminds me of Dimir (Magic The Gathering, MTG).
Dimir is a guild that was considered a myth, something similar to the cucuy/coco.
It specializes in secrets, stealth, information, assasins, informants, vampires, shapeshifters, imposters, horrors, rumors, misinformation, curses, etc.
Dimir believes information is power, it has a complex web for hiding, obtaining, manipulating, stealing and destroying information.
Its most important places are underground. Some members spend a lot of time underground, in secret places.
Nobody knows what Dimir wants, its members are only allowed to know information that is needed for executing the mission.
Nobody knows what its le ader wants. lt was founded by Szadek, a vampire that had more than 10000 years old when he died (but his spirit wasn't destroyed). After Szadek died, Lazav became the guildmaster, Lazav is a mastermind and a great shapeshifter, nobody knows his real form nor his history.
Some people believe Lazav is planning to destroy Niv-Mizzet, the dragon who founded Izzet.
On the other hand, Nosferatu''s love for technology reminds me of Izzet, another guild of MTG. It specializes in technology, experiments...but they prefer wild experiments, explosions and dying when they are doing experiments.

Thinbloods are usually 14th or 15th generation. So far removed from Caine that they have little to no power in any disciplines. They can be the sired by a vampire from any of the other clans but because they don't show the characteristic traits they are rejected by the other clans. The Thinbloods " thin blood" comes with several perks though. They can usually walk around in sunlight and lead normal lives (or unlives if you prefer) and while they don't usually have any immediate inclination towards disciplines they are able to learn disciplines from other clans easier than a non-thinblood. I think this likely has to do with them being so far removed from the 3rd gen that they aren't affected by the curse that Caine put on the clan founders so they aren't restricted in their potential.
It would be cool if you made a video on the Methuselahs (4th & 5th gen). While the Antediluvians (3rd gen) were the original clan founders, it was the Methuselahs who really defined what each clan was. And after the Antediluvians went to sleep/were locked away, the Methuselah's became the kindred that manipulate the vampire world from the shadows. They never directly cause events to occur, like the founding of the Camarilla, Sabbat, & Anarchs, but the actions they take and order their children to take, often lead to great change or significant events in Kindred history.

9:37 Ah the Banu Haqim. Personally my favorite story of theirs came in the late 90s when one of their Methusulahs, ur-Shulgi, Haqim's second childer who was embraced some 10,000 years BCE woke up and returned to the Mountain aka Alamut the home of the clan. The clan he had left behind when he went into torpor was nothing like the clan he awoke to: so many of the clan had forgotten their purpose and history, no longer the Hunters of Cainites and Shepards of Men they were meant to be.
As such he confronted the current leader of the clan in Haqim's absence, Jamal who tried to convince ur-Shulgi that their time as hunters of their own kind was over and also wanted to convert him to Islam. ur-Shulgi took exception to that. He killed Jamal or as he put it, "I sent him to meet his young god."
He then sent a call through the blood for all of Haqim's children to return to the Mountain for judgment. So anyway that's the story of how many Banu Haquim sought asylum in the Camarilla.
It's also worth mentioning that ur-Shulgi is perhaps the most powerful blood sorcerer in the world and broke a blood curse the Tremere clan put on his clan that lasted for about 5 centuries the day he found out about it after he woke up.

Kindred wasn't really "loosely based". It was definitely meant to be fully based on the white wolf property. But people who make TV and movies rarely respect lore in games. They will always change things, whether or not it's necessary. It's kind of an ego thing.

The Discipline of Tzimisce (pronounced Ze-Meet-See) is called "Vicissitude" (pronounced Veh-sis-e-tood). Fleshcrafting is a single power included within Vicissitude. They can also change things like their bloods chemical composition (turning their blood to a substance similar to liquid napalm or acid), removing their own limbs or grafting extra limbs to others or themselves, giving those limbs eyes or mouths, severing those limbs from themselves and giving them wills of their own, or even transforming into giant mutant vampire bats.
Also fun fact; the word Vicissitude literally means "extreme change in something" (typically in ones luck)

I played the previous Bloodlines game and also have the old RPG manuals. And there are certain clans that were not there before, others that are missing or that apparently changed their name. For example, the Assamite clan, an independent clan originating from the east or middle east, descendants of Haqim, which from what I can now assume are called the Banu Haqim. The Giovanni clan, originally a bloodline until Augustus Giovanni diablerized Cappadocius, turning the Giovanni into a clan and the Cappadocians ceasing to exist as such. As you indicate in the video, now the Giovanni are called Hecata. Another independent clan that changed its name is the Followers of Seth, which as you say, are now called The Ministry. And finally, a clan that seemed extinct, the Salubri clan, since its leader, Saulot, had been diablerized by the leader of the Tremere. It would be interesting to know why these clans changed their names and why the Salubri reappeared as a clan.

Loved playing medieval vampire much more than masquerade, best setting, some of the most over the top powers and wars, shame the system is so RP intensive and people moved over to more linear systems like d&d.

Brujah were a clan that embraced philosophers in ancient Grece and Knights during the middle ages, the clan embraces people with a strong ethical code and those who value freedom and justice. Their curse makes them frenzy when witnessing an injustice making it irresistible for a brujah to dispense some justice on the spot, sometimes causing them to involuntarily break the masquerade by fighting for what they percieve as right. They don't value deception and stealth but straightforward confrontation and are the most vocal clan in vampire politics fighting for kindred freedom and a just cause - Anarchs.

Most Kindred have a lot of connections and their place in the world of darkness, so even in the best of cases at least some people won't like you throwing a spanner in the works by killing a Kindred unless the killing is called upon by most everyone in the community. (Since Kindred usually hate each other, its ironically difficult to kill someone and get away with it since most of them won't agree that the Final Death was necessary)
Killing Kindred in front of mortals is technically a Masquerade violation since Kindred just turn to dust upon death (clearly supernatural) that wouldn't be the primary concern when fighting actual Kindred.

Not against the Masquerade, but still against the Traditions. One of the Traditions of the Camarilla is literally that only the elders/the prince have the authority to kill someone. If you want to kill another Vampire legally in a Camarilla domain you need to have the permission of the Prince.

So what's everyone's opinion on the theory that your character in Bloodlines is actually sired by Caine, which explains why you're so powerful even though you're incredibly young for a vampire

IF your sire didnt die in the beginning of the game then it would have been a really amazing plot twist. I also think that other clans and vampires would have instantly knew you are some kind of a badass when they see you. I mean you can feel the power of other older stronger vampires so if you were sired by Caine himself they would know you are not a typical kindred

I thought the prevailing theory was that Caine is granting you additional power as the game goes on, which is something he can do

Gangrel. My favorite character I ever played was a Gangrel. Never played the video game though. I played the LARP version. So much fun.
