why y'all have a video on how to install the resistor kit? And will HyberBlinking cause any damage or just blink faster?
+7150285 Check out the link below for our Resistor Kit installation video! Hyperblinking does not cause any damage. Some people just don't like the look of the fast flashing, so they install resistors to get it back to normal. If you have any other questions, just let us know!

Since the DRL without this mod are the high beams (with a heavy resistance) how does this mod turn off the DRL from the high beams? Wouldnt both of these lights be on?
did you find the answer to your question? I got DRL LED and it is both High beam and DRL. But if i upgrade my turn light with this i guess they both turn on?

Has the turn signal lights been bypassed to become the new day running lights? Or how is it a constant on?
But since the DRL are the high beams without this mod, how does this mod turn off the DRL of the high beam? It would seem both of these lights would be on.
Matt Lee The original DRLs are still as they were. These new DRLs will always be on, regardless if the headlight control is in the parking/headlights position. If you switch to the DRL position, the original low voltage high beam DRLs will turn on, as well as these new "always on" parking lights.
Strange. I installed mine and they are only on with the parking light mode

Hey there! If your vehicle's turn signal bulbs are also a factory DRL, these will function as DRLs.

did u guys put a resistor and so it doesn't hyper Flash or it doesn't need one
+bad drivers of northern new jersey, this particular vehicle didn't hyperblink when we had it in our testing garage, so we didn't install resistors. If you do experience hyperblinking though, we do recommend installing our Resistor Kit! If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us!

these do hyperlink on the 2016 models. learned from experience. The high beam bulb must have also been removed for this video because they will run as well when it's turned to parking lights to make these bulb functions as they do in the video. this also was explained on the video or purchase page for the item.
Diode Dynamics..can you comment to whether or not you disabled or removed DRLs ? and if somewhere down the line, this vehicle experienced hyperflashing? Thanks!
