Good to see another company is addressing CANBUS issue by putting an internal resistor in their lights. I’ve been running LASFIT 7443 switch backs in the front signals of my 4Runner and 7440 amber in the rear signals. They also have solid amber 7443 for the front if you’re a traditionalist. I discovered that these will hyper-flash if they’re on longer than 4-5 minutes because they have a built in circuit to prevent them from overheating. So they’re not good if you use your hazards for long periods. I’m wondering if GTR light has solved this issue.
pjkelly I also have the same issue with my lasfit 7440 In my tears of my 4R ... more than 5 minutes on and they will start strobing ... love those till they start doing that. I really don’t think these guys fixed the problem either ..... or else they would have answered you already . What I would like to know if your 7443 leds for the front work well doing both amber low and high beam ? I kinda prefer orange instead of white /orange switchbacks
I bought the previous version of Lasfit bulbs for my 4Runner and the hyperflashed inmediatly so I installed resistors and now the work just fine. Now I see this 2023 version promising they could fix the mistake without the resistor needed, but I see they measure the time they do keep working as should before heating and presenting the error again. My question to you: Do you think that a resistor would keep my actual bulbs from getting heated better than taking them off and installing the new bulbs, or the new version of the bulbs T3 would protect better than the resistor?
Not that it matters anymore but I would keep the resistor since it’s already on there and continue using whatever bulb you want. It allows you to broaden your choices since you won’t be limited to bulbs that contain an anti hyperflash system. A good option that I’ve been using for my rear turn signals is AUXITO. No resistor and the bulbs go on for like 20-30 mins without hyperflashing
the issue with these LED bulbs with built in resistors is that they get very hot after only 5-10 minutes of continuous use (as in having your emergency hazards on) and will inevitably burn out and fail if left on for an extended period of time. i've tried several of these LED bulbs with built in resistors from different manufacturers and they all failed after an extended use, some worst than others - SiruisLED lasted the longest (25 minutes of continuous use), and LASFIT as the worst (only 3 minutes). i highly recommend switching your flasher relay module to an LED specific one and use standard LED turn signal bulbs without the built in resistor.
The only problem with the resistor inside the bulb that it don’t last long on continues function, lets say you have to turn your blinkers on on the side of the road they will last you 5 min before bulb heats up and resistor shits down and its start hyper flashing, in that case its inconvenient because you gotta shut your blinkers off to let them cool off so it would start blinking normally for another 5min
I got exactly the same bulbs on my 4runner from lasfit $50 for a pair, and yea they they blink normal but after couple of minutes of continues blinking it starts hyper blinking, try on yours, cause im interested if your doing same thing
Ask u questions.look too put pair of led kits headlight 2010 Chevy aveo lt. Sizes blubs inside and .is way put turn signal put pair's of switchback in there?....what is size blubs for license lights
Are these like the Lasfit bulbs? In that when you are driving and have the lights on, will you still have the led ambers on? Or are they only on when using the blinkers or hazards?
I have a 2021 4Runner Limited..will these plug and play without hyper flash? I have tried a number of others and get hyper flash after 4min. Please advise.
With those bulbs, we have found that you will have a couple of minutes of full run time before you have to worry about that protective circuitry shutting down the bulb. Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
Not a problem my man! With the amount of time that you can run them, you shouldn't have to worry about them shutting down in normal driving! Let us know if you have any other questions!
You can install a "Heavy Duty" flasher on older cars with a mechanical flasher unit to eliminate the hyperflash, but with modern computerized cars you'll still get a dashboard "LIGHT OUT" warning if you don't install resistors, or use these bulbs that have the resistors built into the bulb body.
You should be good to go, but we haven't actually tested that bulb in the rear yet so I am unable to guarantee that for you unfortunately. we do have the kit with the resistors on the website though, and I can tell you for sure that those bad boys work! Shoot us an email if you have any other questions! Sales@HeadlightRevolution.com
We have got you covered there as well, I have linked those bulbs for you here: www.headlightrevolution.com/2014-2019-toyota-4runner-led-rear-turn-signals-1418T4RUNNERLEDTURN.REAR_2?quantity=1

@@HeadlightRevolution no questions, thank you. just sharing my experience with these LED bulbs with built-in resistors. 😊
I've left my lastfit run for 20 minutes with no issues.
There is no resistor built in actually. It's the fact that this bulb has so many LED's it uses the same amount of electricity as a halogen bulb.
I got exactly the same bulbs on my 4runner from lasfit $50 for a pair, and yea they they blink normal but after couple of minutes of continues blinking it starts hyper blinking, try on yours, cause im interested if your doing same thing
@@Fantastic5566 thanks for the info. I will skip out on GTR products

I just purchased these bulbs for my turn signals on my 2021 Toyota Tacoma. One of the bulbs are hyper flashing any way to fix it.
A resistor may need to be installed, swap that bulb to the other side and see if it still hyper flashes.
My question is it a switchback, I have a 2015 4Runner Limited and my front turn signals are also my front marker lights .
This is not a switchback
Can Headlight Revolution recommended a good switchback for the front marker/ turn signal of a 2016 4RUNNER Limited?
Hi i have a 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan PQ35 I would love to know what LED bulbs I can use for my car front and rear turn indicators and brake lights

@@HeadlightRevolution have you guys compared this to lasfit canbus bulb no resistor?
Any hyper flash like the Last Fit Switchback if left on for an extended period of time?
These bulbs pull the same amount of electrical power as a incandescent bulb, so you wont have any hyper flash.
That’s not true. I’ve bought for my 2021 4Runner and after 2-3 minutes they hyper flash.
Are these like the Lasfit bulbs? In that when you are driving and have the lights on, will you still have the led ambers on? Or are they only on when using the blinkers or hazards?
I’m pretty sure these will still hyperflash
They don't!

Are 7440 for Tundras in the works?
There's no official plans quite yet.
I would recommend getting a LED flasher relay and it would work much better than bulbs w/ built-in resistor.

thanks for the heads up!
In some cars, this is possible, but in other cars like Mercedes, and this 4Runner, the flasher relay does not exist, or is not easily accessible.
Get the LED switchback turn signals, look badass on that truck
Do you have these in 3157 switchback

These will fit the 2020 just fine, they will give your turn signal a fantastic upgrade!🔥
Is it a switchback light? Will it be solid white,
This is not a switch back.
