1. 100% indigenous. All parts should be manufactured in India with 100% IP ownership.
2. It should be super cheap so that India can manufacture literally 5-10,000 of these for saturation type of attacks.
3. They should fly at an altitude where they can’t be intercepted by small arms or ManPads and carry a warhead enough to cause genuine devastation.
4. Have a range of about 1000-1500 kms, be trustworthy and precise as well as have swarm intelligence capabilities to go autonomous when needed (or in EW / denial scenarios).
Something like that in large enough numbers will be a fantastic deterrent even in the event of a 2 front war.

Did you even watch the video? He clearly says initially the system couldn't detect it and by the time it could it was already very close. Then it fired two missiles which couldn't intercept it.

Storm Shadow is the British name for the weapon; in French service it is called SCALP EG (Emploi Général, meaning General Purpose)

Bro, one of variants of Brahmos comes with steep dive capability which was designed specially for himalayan terrain. So, don't spread misconception about Brahmos missile.

Totally wrong. Terrain-Hugging/Sea-Skimming capability is different from Steep Dive capability. Steep Dive is helpful for shortening the Engagement window of the Enemy Air Defense Systems but Steep Dive cannot delay the detection of the missile which is the most important thing. There's a reason why Low Observable (LO) Cruise Missiles like AGM-158B JASSM, AGM-158C LRASM & Storm Shadow are far more difficult to Detect, let alone Intercept, compared to something like P-800M Oniks or BrahMos which can be easily detected by AWACS & shot down by Air-Air Missiles or Surface to Air Missiles.

The Tomahawk is a Normal Cruise Missile with a large RCS ( 0.1 - 1m^2). Moreover, They don't have any Radar Absorbing Material (RAM) coatings - So they will be detected at far greater ranges.
For example, The E-3G Sentry AWACS, equipped with a GaN AESA Radar, has a 520 Km Detection & Tracking range against 1m^2 Targets - So a Tomahawk Missile would be detected at Hundreds of km away even in a Heavily contested, Jammed Airspace. The AGM-158B JASSM or Storm Shadow would be detected at Tens of Km away in the same Airspace. So Stealth LACMs/AShMs always enjoy a great advantage in detection range.
