Great analyzation! Everything you said is spot-on! Your knowledge of theory is evident. You're condemned to find all the right adjectives to articulate the song. Great job! I respect this band!
Elizabeth !!!! @thecharismaticvoice You should hear “Choke”. Try listening to “Martirio”. It’s in Spanish and slower but you will LOVE the song and harmonies!
The Warning have released a pro shot live performance from their sold-out headlining show in Mexico City of their song Animosity and it goes a long way to show how fantastic they are live especially as a 3 piece ua-cam.com/video/K8VPX-diRl4/v-deo.html I would love to see your reaction and thoughts on this particular song and performance
Fun story. I saw them open for Halestorm in San Antonio, and was blown away by how good they were. The tour had a day off between that show and the next show in Corpus Christi, and I was listening to them all day while running errands and on my way to work that night. I work at a restaurant, and I got seated a table of 5 shortly before being cut from the floor. Immediately I thought to myself “Man, these girls look like The Warning”, but I wasn’t too sure, and I wasn’t about to just ask “Hey, are you ladies in a rock band?”. Fast forward and I overhear one of the people talking about when they were in New Orleans (the city the tour was in the night before San Antonio) Joe (I assumed of Halestorm) tell him about some metal bar. At that point I’m like “Ok, yeah, it’s them”. So I waited until the end of the meal and said “I’m sorry, this is a little unprofessional of me, but you ladies are The Warning, right?” They seemed almost shocked that somebody would recognize them, but also super appreciative that somebody did indeed recognize them. I told them that I was at the show the night before, and was in the front row. We all talked for a while, and they were all super cool and nice. But of all of the places to go to eat in San Antonio, and of all of the servers that were working that night…they end up in the section of the only person who was at their show the night before or would know who they were. Such a small world.
YES, Pau is an incredible dummer and also the main writer in the group. Pau is the one that starts the writing process for most songs and then they work together to flush out the music and lyrics, with 1 or 2 exceptions that Dany might have written on her own. EDIT: Dany has written More than 2 songs and Ale has also contributed lyrics... but my main point still hold Pau does the BULK of the writting. Thanks to Eduardo and Brian for being stiklers for accuracy!
This is one hell of a rabbit hole you just discovered. These girls are amazing. They don’t know how to write a bad song. Absolutely incredible talent, and as others have said, they can play everything fantastically live!
Literally hadn't heard of them till this morning. Apparently they are touring with three days grace, and I had to look them up since I'm going on Thursday! After one song I had them on repeat all day.....
@@keldaris8625 I saw them open for Halestorm a month ago and they were worth the price of admission on their own. Prepare to be blown out of your mind from the moment they start their set until they close with Evolve. You'll need that 20 or so minutes before Three Day's Grace starts to compose yourself. When they're opening for another band they're out to impress the audience like nobody in the crowd has ever heard of them and gain some new fans. Hope you enjoy the show!
Saw them last month opening for Halestorm! Lzzy once said that the first time she saw The Warning live she told her band, "Boys, we've gotta practice!"
Fun fact, as you can see there are phones attached everywhere in this video, it was shot with 16 iPhones and a drone in about 2 hours inside a car garage in their hometown. Turned out so well for a budget shot.
The Warning are so incredibly talented... yes they can play but what will separate them from the rest is their songwriting ability... insightful lyrics to go with great melodies, riffs and hooks. Never a bad song gets released... and they've got more than 40 now!
Well said. Their two secret weapons compared to most bands are their amazing harmonies (which they can duplicate live without backing tracks) and their top tier songwriting. They have an uncanny ability to write songs that get stuck in your head and write great riffs.
I'm from Mexico and in my honest opinion they're past representing Mexican hard rock, at this point they ae representing a new era of hard rock that we sorely missed for many years so in short they represent the now all over the world ROCK that fans everywhere had pretty much given up on music all together including myself. Rock lives on and it's all thanks to these three amazing rocking souls DPA! Long live The Warning!
Check out The Sixsters (6 girls) from Ukraine. They are following The Warning and it is obvious. They bow to the crowd at the end, they have a song called No Name that ends with an Ale like bass solo, they do the finger hearts, they do live streams and their drummer started at 6 years old after her dad noticed her great rhythm and they are also very good musicians. They 12 to 17 years old and are releasing their third album which is gonna be all English next month I believe. Watch them live and they also have some pretty crazy videos. They are currently in Germany because they fled Ukraine and sometimes they play live with only 4 members because 2 had to go back to Ukraine for family emergencies so they need our support. They want to tour America and said they would love to do that with The Warning.
They're the best band in the world right now. It's awesome that they came from Mexico, if they were born in America they never would have turned out the way they did. Some manager or producer would have gotten hold of them and changed them.
Gerardo Gonzales, You put it perfectly I don't think I can add much to that I'm going to leave a short Comment and give you the credit. Thank you compadre ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚘️⚘️⚘️
The scream is indeed Pau. She does it live every time they perform. Evolve is often their last song, and she puts all her frustration on from that day into the scream.
Hopefully she’s careful cuz many other metal singers have screwed up their vocal chords for not doing the scream properly like Lacey from flyleaf had to learn to do it right also the lead singer from red
This is the greatest GenZ rock band in the world right now, imho, as a 50+ year old professional musician who's classical but also played in bands much of my life. This is everything great about 70s/80s/90s rock all mixed into a new flavour... and the fact that it's a power trio is awesome (my favorite setup) and the fact that it's all female is just awesome for the times! And they are EXTREMELY good role models for the younger generation, and hell for older generations also.
I think they have quite a bit of 2000s rock and metal in their sound, too. They really seem incorporate pieces from almost anything in rock or metal. What's cool is that their vocals make them distinct enough that I'm pretty sure I could tell it was them if I stumbled across a new song from them despite the fact that they hop around sub-genres so much.
Only discovered them a month ago, despite the fact I see now that 2014 video has been in my thumbnails forever. Saw their name in comments, embarrassingly agist actually and probably a little sexist when it comes to Rock. Finally clicked on it and the second tiny 12-year-old Pau hit those drums my eyes snapped and WTF came out my mouth. Down the rabbit hole I went. It was the Welcome to Jungle first time I heard GNR on the radio 30 years ago. They are talking telling you what they think in their music. Not the first, but Rock had a problem with lot of juvenile lyrics, it has infected almost every genre now. There is zero fat in their lyrics and no safe space. Like the lady said they shift harmonies on a word, you expect Dany to trail high and she instead drops off a cliff to a low flat. I didn't know why I loved this song just knew I did. Got thank her for explaining it. David Bendeth said they learn everything and they listen but when it comes to their lyrics, they will not change its like you're encircled by a Pride of Lionesses yelling at you in Spanish. You have the nicest girl in the world who is the leader, the super excitable genius, who is a little fun to tweak, and the one that scares you a little bit. The Warning brought me out of a musical coma, and has led me to many other great young bands you never hear about, but they are out there. That might be my favorite thing about them.
She also sings lead or shares lead on a number of their songs while drumming or on piano, in order from oldest to newest: Survive, Black Holes, Show Me the Light, Dust to Dust, Sinister Smiles, The End, Narcisista, Disciple, 23, Revenant, Breathe.
I saw them in May at Irving Plaza in NYC. The place was packed - I'd never seen it so full. They've made it onto satellite radio as well. The word's out - and they deserve it. Please check out their song Choke.
Check their official and studio live videos from their last album Error, Then go and see the full set of songs of the concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, which all are live. And the jewel XXI Century Blood official video (they were so young when they compose this song!!)
@@Amaranthine1000 Yes, this is super exciting and different. Not just any new band for sure, and I'm speaking from a 50-year-old set of lips. WARNING: This is going to get big. 😎
Disciple is a song you need to check out. It really shows cases all three ladies. A song with a message, Ale's killer bass line, The harmonies of all three, The duet between Dany and Pau, the great fills on the drums and the melodic guitar riffs. These three wonderful ladies are great role models as well. They have family values and have surrounded themselves with a great team.
@@TheCharismaticVoice Yes! I think The Warning are about to take the world by storm - they have reignited the passion for rock for many people. They are the real deal! Incredible talent! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
@@psychologyofrock I'm seeing Halestorm for the first time later this month, can't wait and I'm definitely going to represent TW with some merch, although custom one, official will come later when I can afford it, hopefully the international store comes online soon lol
I went to the Halestorm show specifically to see if they were as good live. Their live tone is just massive. If these young women play their cards right they are going to be huge.
I saw that concert in Phoenix. I would rate The Warning as a tie with Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless third, and Lilith Czar as "who are these guys?" I also saw them earlier when they headlined. Devora opened. My takeaway? It wasn't long enough!
One of them, anyway. Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, The Warning, Plush, The Dead Deads, Dorothy, New Year's Day, Kobra and The Lotus, Icon for Hire... There have been some incredible rock bands to come out in the last few years (not to mention another bunch of new metal bands to come out recently as well).
@@RaptorMk2 Half of those bands have been around for over a decade. Some have just been breaking into the more Popular side, because of how we hear them these days.
Discovered them earlier this year and have been listening to their three albums nonstop... not even kidding. One of the greatest bands out there right now
@@iNsTaNtpUdDiNhEaD I did and that's not really my cup of tea (though I appreciate the song writing, especially for their age). QOTMS is one of my all-time favourite albums though.
Me too, only a couple of months ago the algorithm gods led me to TW. All three albums are very different (love them all) so will be interesting what comes next. QOTMS is a masterpiece. Almost incomprehensible that it could have been written by teenagers.
Not only opening for Halestorm, but *Lzzy Hale interrupted their set to kneel onstage and present Daniela (lead vocals/guitar) with a Gibson Explorer!!!!*
I recently stumbled into The Warning's world...and I honestly can't get enough of them. "Choke", "Error", "Disciple" and "23" are other songs that might interest you.
You're gonna LOVE The Warning! As a vocalist I'm sure you'd love their song Choke as well, and as a burgeoning Metallica fan you would LOVE their cover of Enter Sandman that they did with Alessia Cara :)
Agreed! The cover is one of the best covers out there, using their own take and style and then blending it with the original. Fantastic cover! I hope she reacts to one of the Paulina Fronted songs as well!
The Warning has set the bar incredibly high for newer rock bands with no bad songs on three albums. Its mind-blowing that they are so young with Dany being the oldest at 22 years old. I'm so glad you finally got around to analyzing their vocal capacity, can't wait for tomorrow's Reaction. Viva The Warning!!!!
@@iNsTaNtpUdDiNhEaD Right? Can't forget Escape the Mind! Although I feel like I'm listening to Disney princesses at times during the EP, I still love it and you can tell they're very talented at such a young age
"They feel fresh." - @The Charismatic Voice. These young ladies are the breath of fresh air I have been waiting nearly 30 years for in Rock. To me, the thing that I enjoy the most is that every song is unique. They don't write strictly to fit a genre, they write each song as its own creation with whatever it needs to be the best. It never ceases to amaze me about The Warning that as young as they are (currently 22, 20, and 17) they have been writing and composing all of their own music for nearly 7 years now. The really fun part to that though is that they are still learning and growing musicians who will only keep adding new things to their music in the future. I hope you can find some time in your schedule to listen to some more of their music in the future. I know a lot of other folks here have been throwing out their favorite The Warning songs, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of them. If you want to hear them in Spanish, Narcisista features Paulina singing and Martirio with Daniella singing are available and amazing songs. Thank you so much for doing this reaction and giving me an even deeper understanding of just how talented and creative they are.
Yeah Briggsy...you're on point. So very much. (But damn, I'd give my shotgun & hound dog & a couple of chickens if The Warning would do a Rush "Tom Sawyer" remake version.) Ahhhh man!
@@NASA-stole-our-money My head hurts now thinking of that , it would be amazing . I bet they could get Geddy Lee involved as Rush were very involved in helping up and coming artists

@TheCharismaticVoice you should totally try to bring The Warning in for an interview. It would make so much sense, since they all sing (+ a million other reasons)
The Warning are absolutely fantastic and I'm calling it now: they're going to take over the music world inside of 2 years. I saw them open for The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm in Baltimore over the summer. They were SO tight and completely held their own with TPR and Halestorm. I would have paid $60 to just see The Warning.
They are the Queens of the rock scene of XXI century!! These mexican sisters are overwhelmingly talented! Their ages are now 22 (Dany), 20 (Pau) and 17 (Ale). Awesome!! Evolve is an EPIC hard rock song with great bass lines, guitar riffs and drum fills! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
MORE MORE MORE!!!!!! Seriously, their concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene" (which was written by them when 17, 15, and 12) has displaced Led Zeppelin IV as my all time favorite album, I never thought that would be possible. It is truly a masterpiece. And the live "Lunario 2018" concert where they perform the entire album in order is the most amazing live performance ever, filled with passion and talent. I just love these 3 young ladies, and have renewed my faith in Rock music in the future.
I've overjoyed to see Elizabeth react to The Warning. I've found so many great bands watching her channel, now I get to finally see her react to my favorite band.
So glad the girls have finally made it to the channel! Great musicians but more importantly they seem like great people from interviews and behind the scenes stuff. Thanks for checking them out!
Elizabeth, you will hear an abundance of nontraditional aspects of harmonic and melodic movement and structure in The Warning's music. All three have a deep understanding of it, due to their classical piano training at very early ages. They also received (and took extremely seriously) their music theory education during an intense five-week youth program at Berklee College of Music. THAT'S why their songwriting prowess far exceeds that of many (if not most) of their contemporaries; some twice their ages! Their songwriting and sense of melody and melodic rhythm is simply astounding!
Check out when "Bugs", the drummer from Los Lobos paid them a visit, and gave younger Pau some amazing old timer secrets on the kit. You can watch all of them soak up information, like a dry sponge thrown in the pool.
This is just the tip of the iceberg, you have no idea what else they have and what awaits once you start exploring. Their channel is a great place to start with music and lyric videos, show streams, aftermovies, covers, etc. Official music catalog is available on all digital platforms. I highly recommend watching a few mini documentaries to get up to speed on them. First one is on Patreon channel "Their Metallica cover went viral. Here's how they kept rocking". Second one is on Tidal channel as "The Warning TIDAL Rising documentary". Last one is a short 5 part series focused on making of their latest album Error for the first time as signed artists. It's on their channel as "Mayday in the making" series. Enjoy!
These three amazing sisters are the best thing that has happened in rock for decades. They saved my faith to rock. Heard them first time 6 years ago and after that pure 🔥❤️🤘 Viva The Warning! Greets from Finland 🤘🇫🇮
Who else gets chills from watching someone check out The Warning for the first time? I remember my first time hearing them ... I was lucky enough to be at a show! My favorite from them is the savage Animosity.
A couple of their earlier videos I remember coming across was their covers of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" and Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It", the latter of which got the approval of Dee Snider, Twisted Sister's lead singer. You are so lucky to have witnessed these girls live. They have yet to come by my area, but I'm still hoping at some point. My favourites by them so far are "Disciple" and "Choke".
This song was recorded at the studio two years ago. They were 20, 18, and 15 back then. They played and sang everything. The Warning has been touring all year and Paulina has done that blood curdling scream at every show. Tomorrow they begin a Canadian tour with Three Days Grace.
My wife originally found these ladies after their Enter Sandman cover went viral, and she became a little obsessed 😁. (More recently they did their own interpretation of Enter Sandman which is great!) We saw them twice this past year when they came through town. Great performers, fun shows.
Finally!!! I've been dropping suggestions for The Warning to you for a couple years now. I am beyond excited for this. Their Patreon page is on fire in anticipation for your analysis and reaction!
I’m so proud to the three awesome sisters that represent the New Era Of Rock and Metal in Mexico. Daniela, Paulina y Alejandra The world are warning by amazing riffs, blast and bass sound. Viva Mexico 🇲🇽🎶❤️🔥🤘🏼
Saw them open for Three Days Grace last month, and I can honestly say (while I love Three Days Grace) that The Warning was the highlight of the show by far. They far out-performed Three Days Grace, and I would jump at the opportunity to see them again. I almost cancelled my plans to drive to the last two tour dates just to see them again. The experience was truly unreal. Top moment of the year for me personally.
Did you see the footage of Dany singing 'Painkiller' with Three Days Grace, at 2 shows, in Germany (Rock Im Park & Rock Am Ring)? Probably 300,000 to 400,000 people in the crowd and Dany was stellar! Really cool moments!
They are better live, the drummer is like a squirrel who drank a red bull. They are influenced by metallica and now trained by Lzzy Hale. They are going to be the next big thing in rock!
You need to check out their collaboration with Alessia Cara on a cover of Metallica's "Enter Sandman". They took that song and made it their own. Also, these young ladies are proof that rock-n-roll is far from dead.
One of the things I love about The Warning is that they are as good live as they are on their records... The live sessions that they released for some of their latest songs are brilliant... They can go as far as they want, and sound good doing it..
These ladies are the future of metal for sure! You've got to react sometime soon too to the new version of their "Enter Sandman" cover that they did more recently with Alessia Cara for the Metallica Blacklist album! The whole song is completely reimagined in The Warning's style. It's haunting, brilliant, and so different from the original that it's almost like a new song entirely! :D
I am sure she would be astounded by the vocals throughout the song as it showcases both Dany and Alessia. It would probably be 20 minutes to get halfway through the song. The more the merrier.
Check their official and studio live videos from their last album Error, Then go and see the full set of songs of the concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, which all are live. And the jewel XXI Century Blood official video (they were so young when they compose this song!!)

Now that you’ve heard a song sung by Dany, you need to hear one sung by Pau. I suggest Dust to Dust, Narcissista, 23, or Breathe. They trade leads on Disciple, so that one is worth checking out. Finally, Choke is perhaps the best showcase for Dany’s voice, so you might want to listen to that one. I suggest live performances.
Happy to finally see you enter the rabbit hole. You're going to love their material, not only their latest work from their lastet album "Error" but also their debut " Escape The Mind" (2015), Their first LP "XXI Century Blood" (2017), their 2nd LP....a concept album "Queen Of The Murder Scene" (2018), Their first single in Spanish "Narcisista" (2019), and their cover of Metallica's"Enter Sandman" that they recorded with Alessia Cara as part of "The Metallica Blacklist" tribute album from 2021 that commemorated the 30th anniversary of The Black album. They are a great trio of sister that have a very bright future 🤘⚡
And this is where the energetic mini-adventure starts. If you find yourself asking the question, "can they perform this live?" well, the answer is yes, yes they can. Since you've just discovered them, you now have a lot of material to go through, 2 EP's and 3 full-length albums, enjoy the ride, it's a wild one. 😆
Finally! Hey Elizabeth, your channel was probably the one that made me start watching reaction videos. You made me truly discover Nightwish. I became a fan of them and you have a huge impact on it. Then it was a journey that lead me to discover The Warning. I don’t think I’ve never been a fan this passionate. Now it is great to see you doing reactions to them. Oh I’ve been waiting for this reaction for so long. I am really excited for this video. They are truly amazing. Can’t wait for you to invite them for a tea 😉 Thank you!🫶
I first discovered The Warning when I saw them open for Halestorm and the Pretty Reckless in August. Haven’t been able to stop listening to their album since! On the music video for Disciple, someone in the comments said, “Paulina beats those drums like they owe her money!” And this delightful description has been living in my head rent-free for months! So glad you featured these talented and beautiful ladies!
If you haven't gone back to their old songs I suggest watching Survive from the TEDx 2017 video. Pau breaks a drumtick and replaces it without missing a beat and then goes crazy on her kit.
I went with my Dad to see this band (he’s a big fan) I had never heard their music. I became a huge fan after their concert! These ladies are so talented musically and lyrically.
Fantastic musicians, songwriters, performers and incredibly lovely people. Can't wait to see what the future brings, they definitely have the potential to go very far.
The Warning are Awesome. I saw them in Philadelphia first time. Next time, they opened for The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm in New Jersey. The people next to me asked about The Warning before they came on. When they heard them perform, they were amazed. The first of the four bands, all with Female singers, was Lilith Czar. First time hearing them. They were good. What a concert!
Happened to me when they opened for Halestorm and TPR in Boston in July. I was next to a few people who had never heard of The Warning, so I gave them the back story. They were very impressed with what they heard.
Finally!!! 😅... A while ago I asked you to react to this amazing band of three young and talented sisters. It`s a good thing to know my prayers were heard lol... Thank you dear Elizabeth 😊
Same with a bunch of us! Kirk finally told me this was happening a while back, and I have been looking forward to this moment ever since. TWA is strong together!
These ladies kick some serious ass...The fact they are a 3 piece and sound as good as they do is amazing!! These girls are going places and they deserve it!! No fake rock stars here they are the real deal.
Thank you so much for reacting to The Warning, Elizabeth! You mentioned vocal harmonies at the end and another new song of theirs, REVENANT, has amazing vocal harmonies from Dany and Ale and great lead vocals from Pau. You are correct that all 3 of them sing and all 3 play the piano as well. The videos of them playing piano and their instruments of choice when they were younger will warm your heart ❤. They do not have a single bad song in their catalog of over 40 originals, every song has great songwriting and musicianship. Pau and Dany share the lead vocals in some of their songs like: DISCIPLE and Sinister Smiles, and Ale doesn't like to sing lead but sometimes she does live when Dany isn't feeling well. They are not only extremely talented but more importantly they have determination and a great work ethic along with being wonderful people. One of the best decisions I've ever made was becoming a Patreon supporter of theirs. Thank you again 😊🤘!
I made that decision way back in 2014 when they first started. It would be a fun project for her to do a compare /contrast of Dany's singing from 2014 to now.
Finally! Yes! Been waiting for you to discover these girls. Real, good, hard rock is not dead! The scream was in fact Pau. I can not stress enough that you should seek out their live stuff or at the very least the series of “live session” videos they did. Pau sings lead on several of their pieces. You simply HAVE to react to her on Dust to Dust (Live/Vivo en Foro Didi. Keep in mind that these girls were performing to massive crowds as teenagers. Pau is a singing & drumming powerhouse.
These girls are EXTRAORDINARY!!!!! I don’t think anyone currently touring is more excited to play than they are! They have no “Plan B!” Music or else!!! You really should interview these girls! They have explosive and contagious positivity!
I was introduced to The Warning when they opened for Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar in July and have been a fan ever since! They are sooo good
Amazing, can't wait! Hope you like them and take a moment to bring more reactions, especially to some of their live videos (one of the band's strongest aspects).
Crimson Queen would be a great choice from their older songs regarding vocals. That said, Pau with Black Holes performance in Dakota Bar another one. From Error songs, Choke, Amour, 23, Martirio and Revenant.
@@FrankyPi Those would be my specific choices, too. I hadn't thought of Black Holes for this (how could I not have??????), but that absolutely belongs on such a list. I might also add The End and Show Me The Light (partly for Pau's singing, partly for Dany's expressive guitar solos on both).
@@FrankyPi a lot of good songs... I'd go with Martirio at Foro Sol because they have world class level of structure for that show and it sounds great, despite being recorded from the crowd instead of professional footage.
@@robertkrawitz8237 The End is a great idea... and, apart from Martirio (because I just said it in other comment), Sinister Smiles would be a good showcase of vocal talent for all the sisters (Pau's endurance about singing while drumming, Dany with great technique at the lower registers and Ale with a well-placed falsetto in the chorus).
I've to say YES IT IS PAULINA'S CREAM every single time they play the song live or video and also is the encore song to finish the performance. They said that is because the energy they release in the song (and scream ) for anything that could go wrong of simply not be overpowered by adrenaline
The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 17) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to UA-cam for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. This was recorded live in June 2019 at Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - ua-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/v-deo.html The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, UA-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City. This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on UA-cam and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021. In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song... On May 21 2021 they released the single "Choke" to critical acclaim ua-cam.com/video/TlOy0XbFVlM/v-deo.html . Followed by a new release roughly every month through to Sept. On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 songs to be released at a later date. Starting on the 18th of Feburary 2022 The Warning started out on their previously twice cancelled North American Mayday Tour. Their forst show was on Saltillo Mx followed by a short set openning for Mammoth WVH in Las Vegas, NV and another short set opening for Sammy Hagar in Austin Tx at the SXSW Festival. @@MaddogJones A good idea might be to create a playlist and link to it instead of that old outdated list of songs? You may also want to change that they are totally crowd funded into *were* and that we no longer hope the new album will be released in at the end of 2021. It's a great list, but certainly needs some updates. I know that we have had similar health problems, but still.
This video was also my introduction to The Warning about 5 months ago and I was blown away. I'm 58 years old and this is the best rock I have heard for many years. Now I listen to them every single day.
We just attended a concert with The Warning, New Year's Day, and Halestorm recently here in San Antonio TX. It was fantastic! All bands with badass female leads.
We just released merchandise! Check out the full line-up here: thecharismaticmerch.com
Not bad enunciation for a person that English is not her first language
Elizabeth, you have GOT to see their performances of Evolve and More at the 2023 MTV VMAs! Absolutely amazing!
Wow, that's a nice story, and yes they are amazing, both as musicians and as people.
y te tomaste fotos con ellas?
very cool!!
🥰🤣😍🤣🤩🤣
That's so cool... What a great experience to have!!!
Can we just all take a moment and applaud this drummer???? Pau!!!!!
She is absolutely remarkable!!!
Pau is a beast:)
Watch the live stuff it only gets better
@@JesusVillanueva that's more than 2 songs Dany has written
This is one hell of a rabbit hole you just discovered. These girls are amazing. They don’t know how to write a bad song. Absolutely incredible talent, and as others have said, they can play everything fantastically live!
+1. Can´t say it better
That's an incredible understatement lol
Indeed I've been down this rabbit hole for at least 6 years now and I never want to find way out.🤘😎⚠️🐰
Literally hadn't heard of them till this morning.
The Warning is my biggest musical discovery of the year. I just can't stop listening to them every single day.
Same ...i started listening to rhem about a month after they playrd live about an hr down rhe road ...jow i cant wait til they come back
What a unit, they are fantastic!!

Well Okay I not sure I'd go that far - @@DiZastur
Saw them last month opening for Halestorm! Lzzy once said that the first time she saw The Warning live she told her band, "Boys, we've gotta practice!"
Fun fact, as you can see there are phones attached everywhere in this video, it was shot with 16 iPhones and a drone in about 2 hours inside a car garage in their hometown. Turned out so well for a budget shot.
Oh that's fascinating. I wish I knew that before I filmed this!!!
hi franky 👋
The Warning are so incredibly talented... yes they can play but what will separate them from the rest is their songwriting ability... insightful lyrics to go with great melodies, riffs and hooks. Never a bad song gets released... and they've got more than 40 now!
This is so true.
Don't forget about Larkin Poe also...
@@FrankKatzenberger That's well said! My two favouritebands. Both for me the 2 Number 1s!!!🤘
They will take you on a musical journey with all their songs
Man, you nailed it for all of us 70 teens. they have brought back the energy and the musicianship.
Thank you compadre

@@dabhidhm4093 Changed them? But they would be reckoning with the fiercely independent Pau! 😊
Im a 50+ rock fan from the 70's. And I concur
I'm picky as hell, but I truly think this is the best band in the world right now. I can listen to them play over and over.
The Warning is single-handedly saving Rock and Roll.
I DIDN'T KNOW I NEEDED THIS. I LOVE THEM!
If you get the chance to see them live, don’t pass it up. They are incredible live and you won’t forget it.
That drummer is something else!
Dear Elizabeth, oh my goodness. Thank you for introducing me to this band. These women are amazing!
Check their official and studio live videos from their last album Error, Then go and see the full set of songs of the concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, which all are live. And the jewel XXI Century Blood official video (they were so young when they compose this song!!)
Welcome to The Warning Rabbit Hole I've never been as excited for a band as much as I am for Dany, Pau and Ale every song is just incredible.

just a moment? I could spare a few days...just saying
I do not applaud a poor product result of much publicity.
👏👏👏
I went to the Halestorm show specifically to see if they were as good live. Their live tone is just massive. If these young women play their cards right they are going to be huge.
I saw that concert in Phoenix. I would rate The Warning as a tie with Halestorm, the Pretty Reckless third, and Lilith Czar as "who are these guys?"
I also saw them earlier when they headlined. Devora opened. My takeaway? It wasn't long enough!
Also. Live? Danni is a hell of a lot better guitarist than the videos hint at.
To me The Warning is the best young hard rock band out there! Passion, talent, and hard work, they have it all! ⚡🤘
Beautiful inside and out, what's not to love about them.

They also have their debut EP, _Escape The Mind_ (2015). Check it out!

Here in October 2024, make that 4 albums now when Keep me Fed has been released, their strongest release to date. Amazing

Can you believe this many comments about these wonderful ladies? They will become famous. No doubt.

Wish 3DG would have brought these badass girls to the USA with their last tour 🙁
@@brain8484 "Nonsense" How so?
Found these gals about 6 months ago, freakin fire!
They are going to take over the world and I'm here for it. The future of rock.
My wife originally found these ladies after their Enter Sandman cover went viral, and she became a little obsessed 😁. (More recently they did their own interpretation of Enter Sandman which is great!) We saw them twice this past year when they came through town. Great performers, fun shows.
Can't believe how great they are. And they're just getting started! VIVA MÉXICO CABRONES!
They're better live
These ladies are the future of metal for sure! You've got to react sometime soon too to the new version of their "Enter Sandman" cover that they did more recently with Alessia Cara for the Metallica Blacklist album! The whole song is completely reimagined in The Warning's style. It's haunting, brilliant, and so different from the original that it's almost like a new song entirely! :D
Definitely a Masterpiece to last the ages!! 🤘
I am sure she would be astounded by the vocals throughout the song as it showcases both Dany and Alessia. It would probably be 20 minutes to get halfway through the song. The more the merrier.
These women are extremely talented! First time hearing their song and I’m hooked!
Check their official and studio live videos from their last album Error, Then go and see the full set of songs of the concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, which all are live. And the jewel XXI Century Blood official video (they were so young when they compose this song!!)
To get up to speed I highly recommend a few mini documentaries. First one is on Patreon channel "Their Metallica cover went viral. Here's how they kept rocking". Second one is on Tidal channel as "The Warning TIDAL Rising documentary". Final one is a short 5 part series focused on making of their latest album Error for the first time as signed artists. It's on their channel as "Mayday in the making" series. Their full official music catalog is available everywhere on digital platforms, and there is also a lot of content on their channel and elsewhere.
Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride down The Warning Rabbit Hole.
And we welcome you my friend. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
I 100% agree.
Let's not forget Revenant or Black Holes! ⚡🤘
And don't forget the cover of Foo Fighter's "The Pretender" (2016)
And this is where the energetic mini-adventure starts. If you find yourself asking the question, "can they perform this live?" well, the answer is yes, yes they can. Since you've just discovered them, you now have a lot of material to go through, 2 EP's and 3 full-length albums, enjoy the ride, it's a wild one. 😆
I've been dying for Elizabeth to finally get them on her radar. I'm so happy 😁
✌️💖🎼
@@JesusVillanueva While singing lead, no less. And to think, I can't walk and chew gum .
@@JesusVillanueva On that show her drumming stands out in the song *Unmendable.*
those drum DO owe Pau money! 🤟🤟🤟
Just saw them in concert with Halestorm in New Orleans. Phenomenal.
I went with my Dad to see this band (he’s a big fan) I had never heard their music. I became a huge fan after their concert! These ladies are so talented musically and lyrically.
Now this is a video I’m excited for! The Warning are incredibly talented musicians and I’m excited about their future!
Same for me in Indy. Twice people approached me (in my TW shirt and hat) to say they hadn't heard of them and how much they liked the band.
And they are even better live 🤘🔥
Teacher Dany riffing in 7/8 and downstroking her PRS at 175 BPM !
🎸🔥Go Dany go !🔥🎸
😆
Dany’s vocals on Choke are something I think you’d like a lot as well. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🎸🎸
Finally!!! 😅... A while ago I asked you to react to this amazing band of three young and talented sisters. It`s a good thing to know my prayers were heard lol... Thank you dear Elizabeth 😊
Absolutely! I'm trying best I can! :-)
I was spamming about them for a few weeks few months ago, until got an answer that they were on the list to react 😁
Same with a bunch of us! Kirk finally told me this was happening a while back, and I have been looking forward to this moment ever since. TWA is strong together!
I knew she'd get here.
Recently got warned myself. Disciple is probably my favourite song. Awesome band.
💯
Couldn't have said it better!
I made that decision way back in 2014 when they first started. It would be a fun project for her to do a compare /contrast of Dany's singing from 2014 to now.
@@joeloveland6283 Their 1st Enter Sandman that went Viral, followed by the new Enter Sandman with Alicia Cara, would be perfect for that.
Finally!
Pau is a singing & drumming powerhouse.
x500
These girls are EXTRAORDINARY!!!!! I don’t think anyone currently touring is more excited to play than they are! They have no “Plan B!” Music or else!!! You really should interview these girls! They have explosive and contagious positivity!
I was introduced to The Warning when they opened for Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar in July and have been a fan ever since! They are sooo good
I love this band. I hope they get HUGE because they deserve it.
And no one mentioning Ugh, one of the best songs from the Queen :3
So glad you have gotten to The Warning! These sisters are so incredibly talented!
I saw them in Detroit at the beginning of the Halestorm tour. I was blown away. These young ladies are going places.
Just watched them open for Three Days Grace, absolutely amazing performance
Great reaction! If you really want to hear the lead vocals shine you should react to their official video of their song Choke. Unbelievable vocals!!
Showmanship from drummers is a highly overlooked skill IMO and Paulina has it in spades. It's fun to just watch her do work.
This was recorded live in June 2019 at Foro Didi in Monterrey Mx (their hometown) - ua-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/v-deo.html
The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, UA-cam and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter.
In Mexico City on March 18, The Warning got to open

@@MaddogJones A good idea might be to create a playlist and link to it instead of that old outdated list of songs? It's a great list, but certainly needs some updates. I know that we have had similar health problems, but still.
