When I first heard these girls, the bass player was smaller than her guitar!
I saw them live first in 2018, Ale was 14 at that time, she was smaller than Dany lol
Now I believe she is the tallest sister
Easy she is taller by several inches.I know Dany is 5' 2". Pau is about 5' with heels, lol
Approx Member's size in centimeters :
Alejandra = 172,5 ----- (5' 8" feet)
Paulina = 167,5 ----- (5' 6" feet)
Dany = 165 ----- (5' 5" feet)
They been at it for a while but only recently have they exploded. You can hear a huge improvement in their skills, all across the board. Dani's voice has become this sound that is addicting to listen to. Love this band.
"Dust to Dust" by the same band, but sung by the drummer is just frakking rad!!!
The lower octave doubling is the bass player Ale. The higher harmony is Pau. The difference you hear is a different voice.
Danys voice has improved IMMENSELY over the last few years. Her power is off the charts now.
I mean, she was a kid before!
Yes indeed, the drummer sings as well, occasionally as lead vocals
The Warning has two lead vocalists and they all harmonize as well.
These sisters are building a legendary career.
That low harmony might actually be Ale, the bassist. They all three are excellent singers.
When they do this live Ale does the very quite lines during the break.
I hope Ale finds a song she wants to take the lead on at some point. I knew she's sung lead on Hunter and Red Hands on some live gigs but like a song that is hers
@@antivanti There is a video from a live show of Ale singing lead on "Hunter". Unfortunately it seems that the level
on her mic wasn't adjusted for her as the lead, or it's just a lower sound quality, but she kicks it! ua-cam.com/video/kdA9HatBPc8/v-deo.html
@@steveherman6909 There is plenty of videos showing when Ale takes the lead but unfortunately, the cameramen don't realize that they should aim the camera on Dany who really acts out on stage when not tied to her mic.
@TheUnderdog Yeah, at last night's concert Dany was going bonkers when she didn't need to sing. What a nut.
I'm not sure it's doubling you are hearing.. because all these ladies sing.. and live it sounds almost identical.. these girls use almost no tricks.. glad you finally checked them out..
Julia the drummer and guitar switch main vocals. The bassist is primarily the harmony / backing.
Likely Ale doing the low harmony. Also dont overlook her bass. It's so cool!
That lower note you hear in the break is Alejandra the youngest of the three and the bassist at 17 years of age.
I know what that tone is,it's called awesome!🤘🤘🤘
Dany has told us herself how difficult it was and saw it as a challenge. And yes the drummer sings to some extent on almost every song. Sometimes lead.
Yup; when Julia talks about "doubling" the vocals to add depth, that's usually both Pau and Dany singing together - they "double" each other, and do it when Pau sings lead as well. The video is kind of deceptive as it doesn't show each one singing as they actually do, but that's "professional video production" for you. I do also think that's about as low as Dany can "comfortably" get while still maintaining full control, although we've heard her push herself a tad lower.
Amusingly, although perhaps not surprisingly given how much she has shot up in the past few years, I think Ale now has overtaken Pau for lowest controlled registers... and her voice is like warm liquid honey. I'm looking forward to her using it more as she gains confidence over the coming years. 😃
Pau practices singing while running on the treadmill so that she has enough wind to sing while she's drumming aggressively. And I saw Dany warming up for a show by doing multiple "real" pushups. These girls stay in shape for the physical demands of their performances. They take this very seriously. Been at it since they were babies, pro level since early teens, and hitting it huge globally this year - the culmination of a decade of work!
@@MrJest2- the girl is still in development… for crying out loud!
It's amazing to hear her singing more & more… and imagine the thought of contributing to the wall of sound that Dany & Pau create as it is?
She has the talent & she knows it… it still has to be intimidating on some level.
What helps is that they are sisters & they help one another to no end. They push one another in a constructive way. The most anybody could ask for. They've got it 24/7.
… and that is what I love about them the most.
The best thing about The Warning: They are live as good as they sound in studio. Their on-stage energy is amazing. 🔥🤘❤ The sky is the limit for the Villarreal sisters. 🚀🌈
If Animal from the Muppets, were a female human, that would be the drummer. She's a beast behind that kit!
I once heard her described as a lead drummer.
@@killermonjero That works too. 🤣
Then Akane from Band-Maid would be the older sister.
During an interview with the 3 of them, Ale mentioned that Pau played like that Muppet. Dany agreed calling her Animal. In fact that's a great honor seeing Frank Oz, the Muppets creator, fashioned him after John Bonham.
@@vernhoke7730, it was Keith Moon, not John Bonham. Doesn't take away anything though. Both are legends in their own right.
You had been warned!!
Daniela is easy the most passionate frontwoman in Rock today, amazing vocals and loves her craft, always aiming to get better and better, the woman is a beast at it.
These girls are good
Yeeeeesssss!!!! You finally got to my favorite band currently!! These girls are sisters. lead Singer (Dany) is 22, drummer is 20, and the bassist is 17. They've been doing this since 2013, when they were little. Watching them grow up on UA-cam has been so cool. They have started blowing up over the last 2 - 3 years, with COVID holding things back a bit, but they are with a major label now and on tour. They'll share the bill with Halestorm and the Pretty Reckless over the summer.
They do the octave doubling on many of their songs. In this song, the drummer (Pau) does the doubling for the bulk of the song, but the bassist (Ale) sings the lower octave lines in the bridge. I am not an expert, but i think you are right about the reason for the doubling. It adds texture to the vocals, but it also adds heft and fills out the sound. As a power trio, they are always having to find ways to make big sound. Sometimes they do it with arrangement and instruments, but other times they use vocals as an instrument to fill out the sound.
I know this is not The Warning channel and i have enjoyed many of your other reactions, but please, more The Warning from time to time.
You have been Warned!!
The doubling reminds me as an aussie of when the veronicas first kicked off. The way those two could harmonise was so great. Also the way 2pac would add extra viciousness in some of his lyrics was by doubling. Its a common enough technique that i honestly love. Cristina Scabbia does a lot of doubling too. I personally love the depth it can bring.
And i do really love Pao on 23. God that girl can sing well too.
they also opened for both Muse and the Foo fighters
Evolve is one of those songs that will stick with you these girls got big in 2014 when they covered Metallicas Enter Sandman and went viral they have a few albums since then they are fromn Monterrey Mexico
This band reminds me of bands like Evanescence and Linkin Park. They are definitely old souls and they rock way more than most new music. Bravo 👏👏👏
Not only does Dany hit that same D5 on Disciple but wait til you hear her F5 on Hell You Call A Dream!🎵
She has a good range check out her piano cover of my future
Love the warning 🤘best rock band in years for me, no bad songs . Super video
Some of what may sound like doubling may be the drummer or the bassist's voices. The video didn't show them singing, but they do when performing the song live.
Paulina (the drummer) often has a bit of rasp. You might want to see her cover of Radiohead's "Creep". For her full on with the band, see "Narcisista" (live at Foro Didi was it's premier, and an excellent version).
I saw them live a few days ago and yeah they’re all singing and you’re correct that the music videos don’t always show that the other 2 are providing vocals as well.
And live Ale sings the last slow break "Let Me Drown" Ale has a more husky voice in her lower register.
I'm pretty sure Dany on a chat or Dany Day stream said all the vocals on the studio track are her. Obviously that can't be done live.
@@scottlafleur4148 studio vocals is all Dany, Pau and ale do backup on live sessions
There’s definitely vocal layering of Dany on the studio track, although it isn’t essential.
The Warning comes about when their parents give the video game Rock Band to Dani(ela, lead vocals, guitarist) and Pau(lina, drums, second vocalist). They play it for hours and Ale (xandra, bass, backing vocals) claps along because she's too young to play. The three decide to form a band.
In 2015 they are a school band and record a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman for their relatives and friends. The video goes viral and gives them additional training and better musical instruments:
Enter Sandman - METALLICA Cover - The Warning
This is followed by an EP and two self-published LPs. Shortly before the pandemic, they crowdfunded the money for a North American tour, their first foreign tour. But due to the pandemic, they have to cancel everything. Shortly thereafter, they signed a record deal with Universal subsidiary Lava Records for five albums and released an EP. Last year, Metallica asked R&B singer Alessia Cara to do a cover version for the tribute album. She agrees but doesn't know how to do it. Universal mediates contact to The Warning and a Warning version of Enter Sandman is created:
Alessia Cara & The Warning - "Enter Sandman" (Official Music Video) - The Metallica Blacklist Album
They're finally touring North America, but now with Halestorm and Pretty Reckless. In Mexico they were the opening act for Foo Fighters:
The Warning - MONEY (Official Performance Video)
ALEjandra. 😉
Is alejandra, bro
they have lots of covers online from when they were younger, crazy train, guns and roses and foo most notably
Excellent analysis. Welcome to The Warning's World
When Lzzy Hale from Halestorm feels you are deserving of a custom Gibson Explorer, then you've made it. Jason Todd gave one to Lzzy in 2006, and he asked her to pass one forward to someone who inspires her in the future. And Dany from The Warning was that person who Lzzy chose.
The Warning are tiny, but fierce......!
These girls are amazing. You can't go wrong with any of their songs. Just good straight up ROCK!
FACTS
they have 2 eps and 2 full lps dateing from 2014 over 40 songs
no the drummer also sings and has song behind the kit so there are 2 who sings
The Disciple has Dany and Pau singing as does "Evolve" and their song "Survive" from Ted Talks in 2017 Pau starts that song off and Dany joins in
I heard them do this live tonight. It was a surreal experience.
These sisters are so talented and they have so, so much fun playing together. The Warning are an absolute wonderful rabbit hole to dive into!
And others have said, they really do have 3 vocalists. Youngest sister, Ale (on the bass), does not like to take lead, but she sings rich alto harmonies almost as often as she sings high falsetto harmonies. Since they're sisters, the timbres always ring true (at least in my untrained opinion), and Dany (guitar and usually lead vocalist) has gotten lots of training over the past few years, and her voice just keeps getting stronger and stronger and it's awesome. (Plus, they are young women now, no longer kids, and that maturity just continues to improve a band that was already fantastic 5, 6, 7, 8 ... years ago.)
Edit: Also, being from Mexico, their first language is not English, although their English is outstandingly good. But I'm guessing their native Spanish colors at least some of their shaped vowels when singing.
Oh, and lead guitarist is now 22 and bassist is still 17. But they have been killing UA-cam for 8+ years ... they may be blowing up now, but they are not new!!
All 3 sing. Drummer is very good vocalist as well. They harmonize very well.
They are awesome :) Their voices are very compatible
Very good review. Actually all 3 of them sing. That higher tone is Pau the drummer. Ale the bassist also sings on this song live. Dany the lead singer does have a powerful voice but when all 3 of them sing in harmony is when I really love their vocals.
Nice reaction Julia ⭐⭐⭐!
The Warning is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!
⚠⚠⚠!
.
Hello Julia, I like this band, I like it when women play rock music. But, I love to see the way you feel the music. By the way, you really are a very beautiful woman... ;) have a nice day
Remember english is their second language and although all the ladies speak impeccable English, Dany has the most discernible accent.
They determined Dany would be in her upper range so it was Alé on bass singing the start of the Outroe’s “Let me drown” in a lower range. Watch the live sessions. Less production with all the energy.
Not on this version (studio version) Dany sings low and high... Ale only does the low when they perform live
They're overnight sensations...if you overlook the fact that they've been playing together publicly since they were elementary school age children.
They are currently on tour throughout the United States, today they play in New York. in July they tour with Halestorm and the pretty reckless
i believe that is Ale, the bassist singing the other part. Btw, they are on tour right now in the states then Canada then back to the states with Halestorm and the Pretty Reckless.
Ale sings it when performing live... on the studio recording (this is the studio recording) Dany does both high and low.
Please check out their song Dull Knives
You finally got it. Song Disciple you have the drummer and guitarist both singing
They don't use pre-recorded layers in their songs. It's Pau and Ale doing harmonies
Actually, it’s only Dany’s vocals that are layered in the studio version. When they sing live, then obviously three part harmonies
@@lauriep2018 Well I wasn´t in the studio when they recorded this video. But I have seen them playing this song probably hundreds of times and every time is Pau doing second voice in that part and her and Ale doing harmonies. So I don´t see why they would do it different this time for the video. Plus I know their voices very well. But maybe you were in the studio and know better
@@fernandorobles6065 In the production, there are obviously layers. And Dany is layered over herself. They record the song first and then adapt for live performance...like every band. Not sure what you even mean by "pre-recorded". It is a studio production--everything is recorded and mixed.
@@miguelmontoya5236 This is why some band can NEVER sound like their studio recording, they add elemest that are basically impossible to replicate Live. The Warning has done a good job of adapting their song to the live stage. Another example of adaptation for the Live stage is Enter Sandman W/Alessia Cara; Dany does the prayer that Pau does in the Studio/Video, this time a little bit for impart IMO. In case fernando does not know ALL music Videos us the STUDIO audio, they are edited to match the music.
Hi Julia The Warning are amazing and so are the sisters 💗. You should react to Floor's single Fire that came out last month. You should react to Dust to Dust because Paulina the drummer is the lead. Dany is 22,Paulina20 and Ale 17 now.
Finally! Been waiting for my favorite band for so long,, anything from them will blow you away, Pau the drummer is the lead singer in several songs..
Actually if you see the live version the bassist is singing the lower part. Also all three sing. Drummer also does lead vocal on some songs. I would suggest checking out some of their live stuff.
Not on this version (studio version) Dany sings low and high... Ale only does the low when they perform live
They've played ever since they were little kids and got inspired by playing the game Rock Band. They made some covers and uploaded for their gradma or something to see and one of Metallica Enter Sandman went viral.
They've released 2 full albums and the third was delayed due to the pandemic but an EP has been released. They also got to do a reimagined version of Enter Sandman for Metallicas "Black List" album.
XXI Century Blood was released in 2017 (I think the bassist Ale was just 12 or something then)
Queen of the Murder Scene was released 2018 and is a concept album. There is not a single dud on any of these releases btw. Only straight up bangers!
Te falto mencionar su EP Escape the mind
Bangers and a couple ballads.
@@CarlosRivas-cw5wu It escaped his mind. 😄
In Martirio (spanish song) Dany's voice also is great.
I have just fallen on these ladies by accident...I love their sound, the music is catchy and I really like her voice...I will keep an eye out...Pau plays the kit super hard, Ale is incredible on the bass as well, love her sound.
Hello neighbor if u want to get a good understanding of their music give a listen to a live version of their original song Survive. live is a raw energy they give through this song or pretty much anything they put out...... hagn tc be safe and be good peace out.
These sisters are amazing, and the real deal! ⚡ 🔥 🤘
The drummer Pau does a solo with the piano cover of Radioheads Choke, Well worth a listen as she now owns it.
While on tour this month across all of Canada, They all got sick (at separate times) and Dany chose to Power through a show, while under the weather. During Choke, at the high point of the belt, her voice broke. Her sister Pau (drummer) instantly took over, and finished the vocals... Mid Belt! These girls are just amazing.
Spot -on about The Warning's songs being earworms: I find them going around in my head all day sometimes. They started on UA-cam when they were really, REALLY young, and did a cover of Enter Sandman that went viral in 2014 and got them a lot of attention and support. They've been blowing up again in the last few years because they're finally all old enough to go into the music biz proper, go on tour etc.. (bass player Ale is about 17 now I think?)
Ale is indeed 17. Her birthday is in December, Dany's is in January, and Pau's is in February.
damn 17??? wow
You're going to love this rabbit hole... its filled with gold. Cheers
They're doing a US national tour right now. I was fortunate enough to see them in Chicago AND St Louis. They deliver a well rehearsed, tight set. And the energy is awesome.
Recommends: "Narcisista", and "Dust to Dust"(for Pau), "Evolve" is another 'new' single off the latest EP, along with "Disciple" where you can see Pau and Dany trade off lead vocals.
I saw them in Pittsburgh
I'm a few hours away from seeing them for the first time in Reading PA, then again on Tuesday in Baltimore.
Money is the one that I have been addicted to since the was released almost 6 weeks ago.
money
They have been at it for a while now. They went viral when they were little kids doing a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman (23 million views ) in 2014. Their 1st album was in 2017. Their concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene" (2018) is awesome.
The entire "Queen of the Murder Scene" album is an earworm onto itself- from "Dust to Dust" to "The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade)". The title song is wonderfully dark with the ominous chanting of the backing vocals. The closing segment of "Dull Knives" is a showcase for Pao's drumming skills with her triplets and polyrhythym. Killer album that was written and recorded while Dani was still a teen. (Not that she's old now- hehe)
"They only have one vocalist." :D Any song by The Warning leads down a very interesting rabbit hole. Enjoy the ride. :)
I just saw The Warning on May 2, 2022 near Pittsburgh and was blown away. I have always loved power trios and they were very tight. Ale provides a solid foundation with her great bass lines. Pau is ever-present pounding the drums and has a great voice. Dany just keeps getting better on guitar and her vocals keep getting stronger at age 22. I have a video of the May 2nd concert on my channel.
Yep. Saw them on May 7, 2022 in Reading and they were even better live than in-studio. Ale was thumping.
Well, l just say you should watch their live sessions, many things make more sense on live. By the way, she is not the only vocalist, the other two girls sing too.
Three young classically trained pianists that fell in love with the game Rockband and when asked if they wanted to try another instrument they said yes. I'm sure you know but their native language is Spanish. Recording the third studio album is the first time that they worked with all English speakers. Ale especially has commented on having to remember English and making sure they keep their accents in check since they primarily spoke Spanish at home for all the pandemic except for remote interviews. Of course all 3 are very intelligent and slip a lot of layered meanings into their lyrics. Additionally, Pau the drummer seems to really like leaving some ambiguity for their listeners to apply their own meanings. She has commented on how much she enjoys hearing fan interpretations. Try her song Black Holes from the Dakota Bar or Whiskey a GoGo where she comes out from behind her drums to play keys and sing a song about addiction that she wrote at 13. It has reduced whole venues to tears. The piano is her instrument of choice when she writes and of the 3 she is by far the most prolific writer.
a comparative reaction of video vs live can be interesting with these girls. Greetings from Panama
Villarreal Sisters is The Warning, for me, the best rock band this days... Also, The Warning havent only 1 lead singer, all sisters sing, of course Dany (guitar) is the Lead Singer, but Pau (Drums), some songs she is lead too, and Ale (Bass) sing backing vocals and sometimes lead when Dany dont feel well!...
If you like creative, mature arrangement and musical surprises the Warning catalogue is an endless bounty for you. They seamlessly synthesize myriad rock sounds from the last five decades (and their childhood listening) in a broad-ranging sound that is yet always distinctly their own.
Viva The Warning !!!
Ojala reaccione al Choke Live Session, Pua hace las armonizaciones y despues Ale.
what a brilliant band
They're live version sounds almost identical. These young ladies are killing it. We're seeing them May 16th in Ybor City. Can't wait.
See you there Michael
They are my new favorite band, breaking the stereo types and bringing old school rock and roll to a new generation. To my knowledge, none of them has had any vocal training. They just seem to figure out what their bodies will do just as they improve on their instruments. On their first album, much of the singing was done by Paulina, the drummer and in a low register (for them) which took away from their ability to project. The two older sisters (Daniella on guitar and Paulina on drums) do most of the singing with the youngest (but tallest) Alejandra on bass doing back ground vocals. But, she is singing more and more as she gets more confident. Their vocals, like in this song are getting higher in pitch as they figure it out. It's all work ethic and raw talent and a joy to watch them grow. To hear some great projection, check out Paulina (the drummer) alone on the piano, covering Radiohead's 'Creep'. The other two have joked in their vlogs, that in the studio, they turn Pau's mic off to save their ears.
The most admireable thing about the band is that they have turned down $million deals from record labels who wanted to 'change them' in some way, but they refused to compromise. Check out their Ted Talks when they were even younger.
They are so inspiring and role models for girls of all ages. ua-cam.com/video/dyJlh0tNK6Y/v-deo.html
Finally........ Hi Julia, they have been around for quite a long time. Nice reaction. More please........ Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦🍹🍹🍹🤘🤘🤘
First off, thanks so much for analyzing Dany’s vocals. If you listen to The Warning’s earliest work and then come back to anything released in the last 2 years, the progression is astounding. Dany wasn’t one of those wunderkinds we see online who seemingly had chops from birth. She took what she had and maximized the hell out of it with intense passion and hard work. She willed herself to be this great.
Based on your analysis, you should listen to Evolve. The structure of that song is phenomenal. Dany and Pau harmonize brilliantly, and the three sisters have an extraordinary gift with dynamics that really comes through. The encore on the North American tour is almost always Evolve for a reason.
Julia - It is hard to tell on this studio version, but Paulina, on drums, is singing backup vocals throughout the song. When they sing live, Ale, on bass, also has a small solo part that Dany sang at the studio. Check out this live session that they recorded last summer. ua-cam.com/video/dxyRnm-G2PQ/v-deo.html
Yeah - this live session version is great. Strips away all the extra production of the music video and lets you really see what all of them are doing in this song.
@Wargrum NZ My words exactly.
The Warning has been at it for several years. Their first notable song was cover of Enter Sandman in 2015 when they were 14, 12, nd 9 years old. They have 2 albums, ,and 2 EPs out now and have been blowing up since 2020. If you want to hear the live version of Choke here you go: ua-cam.com/video/dxyRnm-G2PQ/v-deo.html

Check out one of the two Ted Talks they did back in 2016 & 2017. It will blow you away. 11-13-15 & 12-14-16 yrs old, just killing it on stage!

Need to listen to Dust to Dust or Disciple or Evolve or Queen of the Murder Scene or Stalker or Sinister Smiles
If you want to see an example of her vocal stamina, you should check out their one hour forty five minute live show in Mexico City (at an elevation of 7,200 ft.) at Teatro Metropolitan.
Highly recommend listening to them live and you’ll see that the bassist has the deep tone you are hearing
Almost gave up on you Julia but a reaction worth waiting for. I am so glad you enjoyed this song but this is only one song from 40+ songs and the first song they released of their current EP MAYDAY.
THE Warning is a band of 3 sisters from Mexico. English is their second language yet their songs are all written in English apart from 2 songs.
For Dany to belt out her vocals as cleanly as she does and also as clearly as she does is amazing in itself.
Dany is 22 years old, Pau , the drummer aged 20 also takes lead vocals, singing and simultaneously drumming at the same time. Awesome.
Ale, on the bass is just 17 years old and prefers to just back her sisters up on vocals.
They all sing very well. Pau will amaze you with her voice too. You have to check out Dust to Dust when you have time. That would be a great reaction that I eagerly await. Songs such as Evolve, Disciple, Animosity of their current EP are damn good too. Thanks for your great reaction and hope to see you soon.🤟
Ale signs the low part, you can see all of them singing on the Live Studio version.
Not on this version (studio version) Dany sings low and high... Ale only does the low when they perform live
The warning rules
Love, love, love this band! Please react to more from them! Check out Narcisista to hear the drummer sing lead.
All three sing actually. The lead is Dani, Pau on drums sings backing a lot and she has couple songs she sings the leads. Ale (bassist) also does a little backing singing. They occasionally do 3 part harmonies.
Dani is short for Daniela
Pau is short for Paulina
Ale is short of Alejandra
They were born in 2000,2002,2004 and started the band when they were teenagers. They recently (Aug of 2020) kind of blew up! I have to say there were very good when younger, but around 2014 blew up on youtube (Enter Sandman cover) and in 2020 they hit the "commercial" level IMO. With new record deal they did some super high quality music videos. All three of them have improved immensely (go back to their Whiskey at Go Go performances in front of 300 people or their high school). The song after this Evolve was even better. Songwriting, musicianship, vocals, and stage performance of dramatically improved over last 5 years. They are quite amazing actually, and still quite young.
Ale also sings lead when needed though she prefers not to.
WHAT AN EXCELLENT BAND WITH BEAUTIFULL MUSICIAN.-
I just finished watching their NYC live stream of this song and this popped up in my feed! I couldn't click fast enough!
You should watch the live version of this song 🙂 great reaction btw
Hi Julia :) First I have to say, love your vocal analysis. I was wondering if you would react to the girls a couple of weeks ago, and see my wish was granted.
Some info on The Warning, they were all classically trained from a young age ( beware the cuteness factor, they have videos when they are like 4 playing the piano ). They started playing Rockband and decided to become a real band, playing all kinds of rock songs. They went viral in 2014 with their Enter Sandman cover their Dad put on UA-cam for their grandparents, making it into the Ellen Show. Afterwards they started releasing Albums on their own, backed by patrons and kickstarter. They signed a major label last year but retain a lot of independance. The Mayday EP is actually the first part of their latest Album. Daniela ( Dani ) is the singer/guitarplayer ( 22 ), Paulina ( Pau ) the little beast of a drummer ( 20 ) and Alejandra ( Ale ) bass player ( 17 ). They all sing, though Ale prefers to remain more backing vocals then lead. She actually stepped in for Dani a couple of times during concerts when Dani got sick. Pau is one of the few drummers who actually drums, sings lead and does a show behind her drumset, she also controls the backing tracks with her laptop. If you enjoyed the studio version, you gotta see them live. My list of favorite songs: Dust to Dust, Choke, Martirio, Red Hands never Fade, Z, Animosity, Narcisista and Evolve. Enter Sandman from the Black Album with Alessia Cara is awesome too.
I should also mention that they maintain the same level of intensity through a whole performance - I don't know how they do it.
They’re natural language is Spanish because they’re from Mexico, so English is her 2nd language. She said that “Wear your tears like Jewelry” was really difficult for her because of pronunciation. So this song for her is special.
Dear Julia, I love that you finally have been warned.
I'm really happy your enjoyed theses girls and hope to see more of them on your channel. They're an awesome, talented group with great songs and a great sound. The only issue I have with them is they didn't come out it the '70's.
Excellent - never heard these girls before - could have used a tasteful (but fast lol) guitar solo but I'm not complaining. Great tune, great reaction.
There are songs that have a solo, but they will only do it if they feel the song needs it.
Yeah, Dany doesn't solo too often, but when she does they tend to be short, lyrical, and impactful for the nature of the song. Check out When I'm Alone, XXI Century Blood, Martirio, or Z for examples of solos. There are others, but those are what come to my mind immediately.
Nightwish is super awesome as well - Flooooorrr!!

Queen of the murder scene, the end, etc
@@chewingpiano Also Narcisista has a solo in the end.
They have been performing since when Ale’s bass was bigger than she was, they went viral 7 or 8 years ago with a cover of “Enter Sandman”, they have since reimagined that song and kinda made it their own with a fresh release last year along with Alessia Cara. One song you may really like is Pau (Paulina, drums) singing “Creep” accompanying herself on an out of tune piano, I think it is a sensational performance.
A thing that I used to say: Ale's bass was taller than her. Haha! Things have changed. But: good point, there!
And that Bass Guitars wheren`t even full size Instruments.
Dany Villarreal is not only a great guitarist but an amazing vocalist and an all-around wonderful human being! The sisters Villarreal are Daniela,22, Paulina, 20, and Alejandra, 17. The Warning has been a band since 2013. They started out doing covers and then began writing their own music, beginning with the release of their 2015 EP, _Escape The Mind._ Paulina (Pau) is an energetic, highly skilled drummer as well as an incredible singer. She is the principal lyricist and songwriter. I recommend you react to "Dust to Dust", off of their 2017 album, _Queen of the Murder Scene_ from their Live performance at Lunario CDMX. Pau is the lead singer in that, though Dany has a great belt at the end. Thank you for reacting to The Warning, Julia! Subscribed!
Just saw them in Pittsburgh. Was curious how Dany would perform this live. Her vocal was spot on. Very impressive to do this night after night on tour. Plenty of live videos out there showing this.
Julia, even though you just did this song you might want to do it again because there is a Live Session of the same song that is incredible. Drummer Pau sings the other vocal (all while playing drums) behind Dani's lead and Ale on Bass even sings a part. Also, drummer Pau was challenged to learn the song Creep by Radiohead in a short amount of time and sing while playing it on Piano. Needless to say she nailed it and her vocals will surprise you. Look for The Warning- Pau Creep Cover
All Three Sisters Sing Lead, The Drummer Paulina she writes most of their songs and she writes songs where she sing Lead, The Bass Player Alejandra she will only sing lead to give her sister Daniela a break from singing to give her voice some rest
All 3 are involved in writing/composing most of their songs.. All 3 start/have ideas for new songs. Pau comes up with the most songs that the 3 take to completion.
Not sure why some fans insist on giving Paulina 100% credit for something they have always said the 3 of them do together.
None of the 3 sisters or anyone in their team have ever said Pau writes most of the songs, so why spread false information that in going to be repeated by new fans as facts??
If you are going to be a fan that wants to provide information on the band to new fans then it's best to stick to the facts the band gives you and not what you hear from other fans.
