@@SkyZizzle but here’s the question how do you make a missile launch without the seat connected to the build because I’ve been trying to make a missile silo that has a nuclear missile
"8:04" - "I'm not really a tutorial maker as you can tell". Dude! This is one of the best tutorials I’ve seen for Trailmakers. Absolutely great work - Keep it up!
I’ve actually tried that and it works to a extent. You can’t add much tracking because it has a lot of drag you also can put thrusters but in just makes the pistons unstable.
It has high recoil because of the pistons. Because you're using Double ER for pistons it has recoil because the pistons extend and retract super fast. Awesome tutorial!
Hey dude. Nice video, but i have a problem: when i put a distance sensor on a bomb and detach it, the sensor doesn't do anything. Do youu know why this could be? Thanks.
Is your sensor connected to all the bombs?. If so it could be trailmakers logic glitch and you might need to restart your game or retry building the missile.
@@SkyZizzle I found out why it didn't work! Turns out that if the sensor is set to a range smaller than 0.20 m, it will not work. I set mine to 0.09 m 😅
Right, time traveler from ayesrin the future here to judge your missile desighn 1, you have way too much prox detonation. Too much weight, not enough coverage. Instead make a central core of sensors that spin, this mames the prox det much better. 2, magnets are better luanchers than pistons, straight up. One might argue they are far more compact, and yes. Pistons are much more compact. However i would recamend using a hybrid luancher. 3, i understand it was a rush job, but the aiming should have been done with a servo instead. This would allow the counterweight to remain allighned, and actually work. Another note, using anchor pins is not a good idea if your trying to showcaae a lack of recoil.
@@Zane12ai 1, could you explain why I have too much proxy? The proxy was fine for the state of the game, Back then you needed 5Ms of proxy for 1 dynamite. The weight was mostly engines, because before the Airborne update engines were weaker. 2, Magnets are a lot harder to fit on to aircraft like pistons can, magnet strength deteriorates when you have more weight making it where you have to put 5 or 6 magnets for a missile of this design, if you wanted instant acceleration. 3, I know I should have used servos but as you said it was a rush job I made this video in 15 minutes with my Chromebook. Also the anchor pins do not negate the recoil, if you have recoil on your piston a build with anchor pins will tweak like a homeless man in the streets of Portland. (Btw the hinges instead of servos still doesn’t really negate the recoil piston)
Well, you only really need 3 sensors, 4 if you want it to be semetrical, 2 if direct hits can reliably trigger a detonation and/or are being extremely cheap about it. (2 on the sides or one on the side one on the front) You see, the main think is to have the ones on the sides spin rapidly, which greatly increases ditection radio's from 4° all the way up to 360. I am well aware, however using few mags and a piston will still give you great velocity, and is both alot cheaper and manageable. They st8ll help reduce recoil greatly. I would have removed them and added a basic base to better show the diffrance

Thank you so much you have NO idea how much that means to me!
thank god there was someone was able to make me understand how to make piston missiles
Same bro
Hey really nice job, btw how do you record on ur Xbox, I still haven’t figured it out for my yt channel, again really good tutorial 😊
Great vid and it really help me in dogfights but can you make a tutorial on how to make it smaller plz
thanks so much man, its so sick and use full
nah this guy is a leagend
keep making vids bro you got this iam chearing you 👌
See if you can add thrust to the air grenade and make it a homing missile other wise STUPIDLY good tutorial keep the work up!

Very interesting. Will likely add some of these into a few of the tank variants I have.
They work really well as like a Atgm.
THANK YOU.
i needed that for my tiger 1 tank so i have working ammo
This helped so much thank you
You’re welcome
Perfect vid bro
it's times like this I wish I had trailmakers
a rack of these would be awesome to see shoot down a plane
Great video keep at it!!
Thank you! Will do!
thank you so mutch
You're welcome!

Can you make a video on how logic gates work? I have no idea

Hi, it is me juicy J#3234 what time is it wherever you showed the safety because all I see are you doing is making the missile

@@tapthestickman7732 oh ok
Is it possible to make it with just 4 pistons bc my plane is small and cant have much weight
Yes but it won’t have as much power as if you were using 3 or 2 sets of pistons

Maybe you could use the rc glitch and make a guided missile
With proxy
I’ve done a video on a player guided missile if that’s what you’re asking about
@@lamarwatsonjr6034 Do you play on Xbox?
@@SkyZizzle yes I do
in the upcoming airborne update, there could be a camera block coming. So it would be epic if you could make guided missiles with their perspective.
I actually made a working tracking sam.
Nice!
Hello
Hola
Q video inrivel
Isn’t the delay 0.02?
0.03 for more than 2 sets of pistons
Is more powerful
you know you can make 1x1 missiles instead of 2x2
Yes but I think 2x2 Is better for power and just overall more efficient
2x2 have better acceleration but they are heavier
Can you make a guided missile
