Utter delight, and a wonderful reminder of what a remarkable wordsmith, self-deprecating humourist, insightful friend and man of the theatre Henry was. A large spirit who will be sorely missed. RIP HW
This simply wonderful interview is not just about Harold or Henry , it is a love poem embracing friendship in its purest form. I so hope that it finds a wider audience for it surely deserves one.
Fascinating. I really wish I'd met him because from childhood onward I always loved seeing him on screen and he was clearly a smart and thoughtful man.
This is a great interview. Such a wonderful actor I'll never forget him doing the monolgoue last year, in the Pinter workshops, I hope you have it recorded.
Great thanks to all for wonderful interview. But the woman who keeps interrupting Henry in mid flow needlessly (the director Caroline). I mean all that stopping of Henrys flow during reminiscing could easily have been sorted out later in post editing. Comes across to me like a sanctimonious pain in the arse director. Sorry.
@@manfromnocky Your comments are appreciated - please know these are previously unseen & unedited rushes, published as a tribute to mark Henry’s passing. Caroline is doing her job. Of course in the finished film (WORKING WITH PINTER) her comments are omitted. HB

So happy to see and hear my beloved mentor! Thank you.
You’re so welcome. I’ve been thinking about Henry today in fact!
Wonderful! Thank you!
