So... an earlier draft of this script had my overall thoughts on the trailer, but I ended up cutting it out. However, I accidently left it in the subtitles, and people found it. They seemed to enjoy reading it, so I'm posting it here for you to read if you want! **** I’m really excited to fight these bosses! Outside of the lore, the boss fights are probably my favorite part of Hollow Knight. We’re actually up to about fifteen revealed bosses for Silksong already. And I’m hoping there’s plenty more bosses we haven’t seen yet. And obviously, the areas look incredible. You have no idea how badly I want to play through that clocktower level. Seriously, it’s killing me. That said, one criticism I’ve seen of Hollow Knight is how samey some areas look. And Silksong kinda falls into that same category. It’s hard to know what areas I’m even looking at when I do these analyses. But that more muted palette is a deliberate choice from Team Cherry, and I do think it helps keep the world feeling more grounded. But I will be curious to see what more casual people have to say once the game launches. I think the biggest improvement here over Hollow Knight has to be the platforming. It looks so fun and engaging. As much as I love Hollow Knight, its platforming is a bit limited, mainly due to so much of the world being accessible with very few movement options. Hornet is more agile out the gate, so Team Cherry should be able to push the envelope a lot more in that regard. So much of the lore is still shrouded in mystery. I feel like this time around we got to see a much better look at how silk is really screwing things up in Pharloom. It’s getting everywhere, it seems to be what’s responsible for whatever is plaguing this bug. So that’s nice, but we didn’t really learn anything more about the song aspect of Silksong. And we still don’t really know what’s going on with these white flowers and bugs. So looks like there’s still plenty of lore to uncover about this game. I haven’t mentioned the music in the trailer at all. And that’s because you should know by now that the music is just fantastic as always. It sounds like a frantic battle theme, maybe a generic boss encounter song. I honestly have no idea, so we’ll have to just wait and see.
I like the idea of SS having more scripted spectacle moments, like the lava climb scene or the one where Hornet stabs that guy. Moments like those are designed to be awesome so it’s great that we’re seeing a lot of them.
I think the song aspect might come from Hornet playing music on her needle like a harp, maybe it connects into the story somehow, like playing a special song to calm down whatever hk/radiant equivalent is causing all the problems in pharloom

All jokes, theories, and analysis aside, Team Cherry has put in so much effort to this project. The fact they are actually attempting to give us a game that can possibly be another favorite up there with the original, while being drastically different mechanics, says a lot about these guys.
True, but I just hope they learn to finish it someday. It is very easy to fall into the trap of adding more and more stuff into a game. Which is fine, but it runs the risk of killing hype and annoying fans.
I am still grateful to you for the fact that every video has subtitles. As a person from another country, it is very nice to see this. Besides, your work has been done incredible! Thank you for this
I feel like the elevator bit is leading up to the top of the citadel but as soon as you make it to the top the elevator crashes back down and possibly forces you into another area similar to the gate closing in the city of tears
20:26 If you look in the background, there are images of dead corpses that have been hanged and/or cut into pieces. This reminds me of the cannibalistic chef back in Hollow Knight, in the City of Tears. It might be a throwback to it while also making it a boss battle that could potentially be an option to fight. It seems the chef is trying to use Hornet as a stew or something, hence the spoon in their grip.
I realized that not only are silksong and hollow knight different narratively, but also by color choices while hollow knight has cool colors, being calmer and rounder, silksong has warmer colors, possibly saying something about how the danger has risen much more
I think I really like this change, if I had to find one "flaw" in Hollow Knight is it could be a bit.. emotionally draining at times, due to how lifeless it looked in general
It's also probably to differentiate the life of the kingdoms: Hallownest is dead and frozen in time, while Pharloom seems to be thriving and bustling with life. I can't wait to hear how Christopher Larkin puts his own spin on the life with music as well
You know what? Team Cherry's silence for the most part has been a good thing. A lot of lore videos tend to grasp at straws and dig out unused assets from early dev to make their theories, and I'm sure a developer like Team Cherry would not want that, but only want players to piece together lore based on information that is available in the game and not some outdated thing they scrapped early on. I expect lore videos of SIlksong to be a lot tighter and more grounded in the in-game experience, which is what I personally prefer.
It's been terrible from what I've observed and was a bad thing for team cherry to do. The community turned into a poisonous toxic swamp. People were justifiably saying the HollowKnight fandom had become worse than the Undertale Fandom...
@@derpherp7432 that's not the dev's fault though, but yeah the community got annoying, I had to unsubscribe from r/hollowknight 6 months ago and have not thought about silksong at all since then, today I woke up to this new trailer and mossbag video, what a pleasant surprise for me hehe
No, (some of) the fans, went rabid. Team cherry's silence was a horrible way to keep fans interested. Some people legitimately thought team cherry stopped development because we had heard nothing for so long. We weren't after a release date. We after a comment, like "hey, yes we're still working on it, we don't have a release date yet, but we will let you all know when we have one. Just stick with us and silksong will be out." Dead silence for two years is not a good thing.
Amazing video :D There are a few things I noticed that might be a bit interesting that you didn't cover: In the sixteenth shot, the tool that Hornet uses is the same tool she used to pogo in the first Silksong trailer. Given that here it's used in combat, I'm very excited to see the way TC has implemented more of these multi-use tools and how they might even be used in things like speedrunning and skips :o Also, in the eighteenth shot, I'm fairly certain that the bind animation has been made a bit longer than it was previously. I'm not 100% sure on this as a direct quote, but I'm fairly certain that I read TC increased the duration of the animation on purpose to try and add a bit more intent to the action - the previous time made healing a bit too easy and trivialised a lot of damage. Loved the video though, that catch on the scholarly suite members + the windmill was insane
@@mossbag69 I'm pretty certain it's based on the crest, since some crest require less silk to heal, maybe some crest will heal more than 3 masks but have increase duration. Something like that.
I think it's interesting how the twenty-fifth shot (20:26) enemy has these huge claws from who you'd think you'd get that HUD with the claws, but Hornet already has them during the battle. So maybe this is a second stage fight to upgrade the fangs?
Could be how you get the triple needle tool? Or it could be a case where the enemy's "claws" are some kind of gauntlets, which you might be able to find a pair of beforehand if you look for them? Just theorising to be clear, but it would be pretty interesting. Like how you find the mantis claw right before you fight the boss(es) that cling to walls like it allows you to do.
Being blunt, looking at this footage, Silksong absolutely has to be close to finish by this point. With how fluid and detailed a lot of it looks, TC has to be in the twilight stages of development and are likely putting final touches and cleaning up -bugs- glitches. And if nothing else, Xbox drawing a line in the sand is at least something. Latest will be Q1 2023. Putting that on the table. It might even come out earlier. It's possible a date wasn't in this trailer because of a deal TC may have with Nintendo (since it was slated for the Switch first), so either they'd announce it themselves, or would use Nintendo's (possibly?) upcoming event to announce the actual date. Only time will tell though. Maybe they'll push it as long as they can, but I imagine even they have to be getting sick of developing this game by this point. Five damned years. I can absolutely see them putting a line down themselves after so long.
Honestly looks to me like the reason it is taking so long is animation. It's all 2D and so much more complex than Hollow Knight was, like the fact that Hornet appears to have multiple attack styles you can choose between means it is just taking an eon to draw it all haha
@@eddysonortega6067 guaranteed under a year, that is true for all the Xbox games shown. I suspect either in November/ early December for Christmas, or February
When discussing the area directly beneath another, with our piece of evidence being small pieces of the higher, larger thing falling from above, the fact you started playing the City Of Tears, an area with the exact same properties (but in city’s case, instead of pedals from a flower… forest? It being water from the blue lake) was really clever and cool if it was intentional. If you just played city’s theme because it’s beautiful, that’s fine too.
Exactly what I thought when I saw them. Team Cherry said that they would make Silksong more its own thing so as to be able to attract more new players, but I’d be very surprised if they put no connections at all to the original hk.
God, this video is making me appreciate the finer details in each area. The detailed, looming backgrounds with that parallax effect look FANTASTIC. My god. This art direction is _insane._
One thing I find interesting is how when hornet goes up the elevator, she is in her regular idle stance, but when she goes down, she is in the same animation as she is when she is defeated in hollow knight. Perhaps you have to escape from whatever area that is in a big chase sequence? Cool stuff.
That’s her stagger animation in this game, like the one the Knight does when a boss roars. It’s probably a scripted event where she goes up the elevator but it falls from under her and takes her to Deepnest 2 or something
I like how the areas are styled. There isn’t so much specific areas that are completely distinct from the adjacent ones, but they slowly blend in to each other while still standing out.
I personally don't think that the forest of bones is a firey area, I think the firey region is specifically deep docks. Team cherry usually refrains from having two areas be too similar in terms of theming. Hollow Knight, and presumably silksong, have very distinct color schemes for each region. Moss Grotto is a lush, bright green, and deep docks is a bright orange; my hypothesis is that Forest of Bones is more of a literal forest, the area with an olive green color palette that we've seen a lot, in between the two. I think it's likely that the ants live in the forest of bones given their bone architecture, and many of the shots we see ants in have that same olive green hue. For example 14:19 and a few more in the first trailer like shown at 6:00 in this video. I do think it's possible the lower forest of bones has lava, but I think it's not necessarily that the forest of bones must be a firey area just because that's how it was when it was cut from hollow knight.
@@jlin592 That's possible, but even with those very similar areas Team Cherry did a lot in terms of artwork to distinguish them. Queen's gardens has bright green backgrounds, flowers, and ornate architecture, while Greenpath has darker greens, more moss & vines, and ancient-looking architecture. With Deep docks, the bone aspects and mechanical aspects are interwoven so frequently that I can't discern two separate areas, and I think team cherry would probably make them more easy to differentiate from one another. I could always be completely wrong though, and even if aren't similar areas I think Forest of Bones will definitely have some lava elements.
12:37 your discussion of the shape of these things finally made me realise what the bell creature reminds me of from the original game: it looks like the unknown "thing" that Ghost/Knight can't either dreamnail or interact with in any way. their heads have this very similar shape and amount of eye sockets, and if the previous phase of the creature was more larvae-like, one can imagine its body in silk being hang up to the ceiling in the same way as in Beast's Den. great job on the analysis, I was looking forward to your takes on the trailer!!
Yeah I can see that, hollow Knight was very “cavey” at times with the occasional ornate gothicish style architecture thrown in. Silksong seems to have less caves and more structures.
14:33 Small detail but I wanna appreciate how one of the enemies' droppings (shards) are floating on the water instead of sinking like in the original game. It also raised other questions if anyone wants to answer like is it only the gray shards that float? Do all water now makes items float besides the swamp-like water from this cut? Can Hornet eat the hot dog plant?
2:49 "They appear to be moss-like creatures suffering from male-pattern baldness" ngl I almost thought you were going to transition into a Keeps sponsor segment there Also it's really fascinating how people can turn like an 80-second trailer into a 22 minute long analysis video
Immediately thought of you when the new silksong trailer dropped. Was so excited 'cause I knew you would go crazy with an analysis video. We missed you moss!
Awesome analysis! I like that you went deeper into this. Can't wait for the game and I hope it will also release on PlayStation, the fact that it wasn't confirmed makes me slightly worried lol 12:06 maybe that's just me but noone is mentioning how this guy grabs another bug and attacks with him xd 17:19 isn't it falling though? It's pretty shaky
Such reckless behaviour! She is clearly spending too much time in the air, contrary to precept thirty-eight. Perhaps the mysterious force has already destroyed her and everyone is waiting for a story that will never be told.
About the white flowers: They might be based on the Udumbara blossom. In Buddhism, they're said to be sacred flowers from heaven, They're exceedingly tiny and like to grow on metal surfaces, (we see them covering the metal pipe in the background of the Lace fight) they're really rare and are said to bloom every 3,000 years. Scientists aren't sure if it's not actually a type of moss, or fungus rather than a flower. I have no idea if the white flowers are actually based on Udumbara or what it means if they are, but I thought the similarities were interesting.
Great video as always! I’m not sure if you noticed, but at 15:02 the enemy that Hornet kills seems to drop not only shell shards and rosaries, but also a gray, map-marker looking thing. This may be used to craft a new tool, or be a type of currency in a certain area, though I have no clue!
Oh i think thats just the bigger version of a rosarie thats worth 5 rosaries because if you pause exactly when she picks it up she gets 6 rosaries with the one rosarie
Kinda fun to have subtitles ON for the conclusion, getting to know your personal take on the trailer. It's like finding pieces of missing lore in a game. Nice video as always!
Something I found interesting is; The elevator Hornet takes looks *very* similar to Godhome architecture imo. Lots of flowing gold sort of designs, and namely the big round thing at the top of the carriage looks vaguely similar to a Pantheon's marker.
I can see why this game is taking so long, they're REALLY trying to make this game a whole new experience. It makes me so happy seeing a developer team focused on releasing the game at a time where they think it's ready and see a team focused on making the all the fans happy. Most gaming industries I see try to release their games as fast as they can, and are disappointing. They are filled with glitches, and they don't meet up to expectations. Basically, I'm glad they aren't trying to force themselves to rush the release of the game and rather are trying to polish the game so that it goes past people's expectations. Hollow knight was an incredible game, it felt large and even when you finish the game it feels like exploring around is a whole experience. When silksong was announced, I expected it to sort of be just like hollow knight, but bigger with different mechanics, but they went a WHOLE other level. Silksong adds all sorts of new mechanics and gameplay that makes it fully reaches my expectations. It's absolutely stunning footage, even a short trailer shows all sorts of new never before seen content in Hollow Knight. The game feels like an actual whole new game, I don't know if that makes sense but it looks and feels like it's going to feel like a whole new game experience. personally, the only thing I am a little notsure of is the difficulty. Hollow knight was pretty easy but with the amount of different mechanics that can change hornet's attacks increases the need of strategizing. It will be a challenge for me since I am pretty bad at gaming, but I bet the challenge will be worth it. (Not like the path of pain lol)
Something I'd like to point out is that at the beginning of the tenth shot (9:38). Instead of looking like a bridge between two structures it looks more like the nave of a church. You can see what looks to be rows of pews and even a bug sitting in one on the left side. It would also semi explain why a figure (the vault keeper?) would be standing in the background as he'd be standing in the sanctuary/altar of the church.
This video was great. Already deciphering core mechanics, speculating plot points, encountering lore details and of course, a classic James Cordon joke. Fantastic.
It's so nice to hear your voice and amazing deadpan jokes and insane analysis, you make such good content. I can't wait to play silksong and see how it augments the world and storytelling of hollow knight, as well as hear your theories and conclusions about the game when we know more.
21:31 Well there is something new in this one. The first mask looks different then the other masks. It's bigger, but also cracked. Maybe this is some kind of armor that Hornet can craft?
Also, I'm pretty sure TC increased the time it takes to bind - and we can see that in 18th shot. I don't recall the exact words, but I think a playtester said it was because the previous cooldown let you heal way too often.
the scene of hornet stabbing a bug with a cloth over their head HAS to be a Dark Souls 3 reference. The sequence is IDENTICAL to the ashen one's wedding ceremony with Anri!!!
Based off what I’m seeing, the boss fight with the two cones seems to be early in the game as honest only has 6 masks and the straight pin like in the demo for deep docks, and similarly the mini judge in the desert hornet has the cone and the harp crest which I’m pretty sure was seen in a place that would be early on. So I think the cone bosses are early in the game and is tied to the desert place I’ve also noticed that the lava rising scripted area, looks like it is directly correlated to the song golem because in the previous trailer, the giant golem destroys the ground and I think once defeated the entire ground will break and lead into the lava rising scene
Well, thank you. For everything. I love your content, and I think that you're a shining example for the Hollow Knight Community, and for the Silksong community as well. Keep up the good work.
17:37 i think this could also be in the warlord's tower because you can see giant scissors hanging from the platform in the bottem of the screen, similar to the scissors the enemie had
Something I noticed about Hornet going down the elevator is that, the lever is gone, that would explain why it's falling rather than normally descending. Idk what it means but it is something I saw
I get a feeling that Seth or however it’s spelt is gonna be how tiso would be if he was a fight and it makes me happy to think we’ll finally get to fight what he would’ve been!
I know it's just a trailer analysis video, but when he started playing the city of tears theme I got goosebumps. Can't wait to hear all of larkin's new music for silksong
I've actually had the opportunity to be part of the playtesting team for Silksong, specifically for the bosses. let me just tell you the part in the Citadel where you get to fight Kimmy Gibbler from Full House was INSANE.
Great to see Mossbag making videos in the after life. Even after being sacrificed he still with the HK community. But for real, I missed Mossbag, and is great seeing back with Silksong
3:17 I think this is because moss knights are maybe based on silk moths, domesticated silk moths grow larger and lose the ability to fly, while wild silk moths are much smaller and can still fly, maybe the moss knights were cultivated to protect the Queen in queen's gardens? and those flying creatures resembling moss knights are the wild variant that adapted to a more feeble lifestyle? opens up new questions, like did the queen and king come from pharloom and moved to a land more fitting to them? (hallownest) idk
My theory regarding objects sticking out of the ground in shot 18th: - game includes a trope of a fanatic religious cult - circle with bolts and long shaft is kind of a cross - so it is used as an attribute item by that offscreen bug, let's say acolyte - and it is used on graveyards, sticking out of the ground, with silk attached as kind of a tradition to leave important resource to the dead - Last Judge could be a cult leader then
"Hey, has anyone seen Mossbag?" Team Cherry: "Hold on. We got this. AHEM. HEY GUYS! WE HAVE A NEW SILKSONG TRAILER!" Mossbag: *SLAMS THROUGH THE WALL LIKE THE KOOL-AID MAN*
Hopefully this gets read but I worked for EA in compliance and usually when a game gets submitted for rating it’s near the final stages of bug and polish

Me when silk song did not in fact, drop on June 12th 2023
And 6 months later is still to be anounced
And won't drop on june 12th 2024 neither, maybe june 12th 2025!
We might have news soon it seems
20:26
If you look in the background, there are images of dead corpses that have been hanged and/or cut into pieces. This reminds me of the cannibalistic chef back in Hollow Knight, in the City of Tears. It might be a throwback to it while also making it a boss battle that could potentially be an option to fight. It seems the chef is trying to use Hornet as a stew or something, hence the spoon in their grip.
I bet the big booty chef killed them
The madman separated the video in the shots of the trailer
We were truly hungry for Silksong content
I realized that not only are silksong and hollow knight different narratively, but also by color choices
while hollow knight has cool colors, being calmer and rounder, silksong has warmer colors, possibly saying something about how the danger has risen much more
To me it represents how much more active the areas in Silksong are, while the areas in Hollow Knight were frozen in time.
I can't wait to hear how Christopher Larkin puts his own spin on the life with music as well
@@truthwatcher2096 that was the point after all, you are exploring a Big forgotten kingdom with nothing but ruins

@@derpherp7432 So youre blaming the devs because you guys, collectively, couldnt keep yourselves from turning into petty children?
*NO COST TOO GREAT*
thank you for your input edgeworth
Just stick with us and silksong will be out."
Dead silence for two years is not a good thing.

“June 2023.” Who’s gonna tell him
Amazing video :D There are a few things I noticed that might be a bit interesting that you didn't cover:
In the sixteenth shot, the tool that Hornet uses is the same tool she used to pogo in the first Silksong trailer. Given that here it's used in combat, I'm very excited to see the way TC has implemented more of these multi-use tools and how they might even be used in things like speedrunning and skips :o
Also, in the eighteenth shot, I'm fairly certain that the bind animation has been made a bit longer than it was previously.
No, your right. They definitely increased the duration of the bind animation.
It may be related to the crest, as it also changes the bind cost
I noticed the increased bind time, I wonder if that's crest specific or a universal change.
@@mossbag69Honestly, I figured it was a base change. Didn't even consider it could be crest based. That'd be interesting.
So maybe this is a second stage fight to upgrade the fangs?
could also be a dev test build
Yeah i noticed that as well, thats definitely a possibility but who knows
Could be how you get the triple needle tool? Or it could be a case where the enemy's "claws" are some kind of gauntlets, which you might be able to find a pair of beforehand if you look for them? Just theorising to be clear, but it would be pretty interesting. Like how you find the mantis claw right before you fight the boss(es) that cling to walls like it allows you to do.
Bloodborne vibes
Also they've submitted it for rating, so I'm sure they're probably a decent way into development
Bet 500 geo you’re correct
Honestly looks to me like the reason it is taking so long is animation. It's all 2D and so much more complex than Hollow Knight was, like the fact that Hornet appears to have multiple attack styles you can choose between means it is just taking an eon to draw it all haha
personally with how the game looks, I think it will come out fall this year or winter next year
@@eddysonortega6067 guaranteed under a year, that is true for all the Xbox games shown.

The spears collecting silk near the windmill also look like the frame that usually presents itself around the radience which is very eerie
Those drill motherfuckers have one of the best ones, and for what reason? Team Cherry are gods of a beautiful bug world.
It is really good don't you think?
Dude , Im glad we actually got trailer without sacrificing you.
@@AshenDust_ DEEPNEST 2! There will totally be a deepnest 2 won't there... you know what we don't need silksong I'm good.
@@azuquirtle Deepnest 2 electric boogaloo
I do think it's possible the lower forest of bones has lava, but I think it's not necessarily that the forest of bones must be a firey area just because that's how it was when it was cut from hollow knight.
makes sense. although I liked the idea that the forest of bones is lava :(
Well, they did have two areas with similar themes in hollow knight: the queen’s garden and greenpath. Maybe it’s something similar to that
@@jlin592 That's possible, but even with those very similar areas Team Cherry did a lot in terms of artwork to distinguish them.
@@JacobPDeIiNoNi oh yeah, that makes sense. If you showed someone a screenshot of queens garden and greenpath, they’ll know which is which
12:37 your discussion of the shape of these things finally made me realise what the bell creature reminds me of from the original game: it looks like the unknown "thing" that Ghost/Knight can't either dreamnail or interact with in any way. their heads have this very similar shape and amount of eye sockets, and if the previous phase of the creature was more larvae-like, one can imagine its body in silk being hang up to the ceiling in the same way as in Beast's Den.
great job on the analysis, I was looking forward to your takes on the trailer!!

hollow knight felt very metroid, but silksong feels more castlevania with the crypt and the clocktower and all of that stuff, very excited for this
true, it also might copy then the feature of getting those abilities from enemies themself
also it has this bigger crest / charm feature, like castlevania
Yeah I can see that, hollow Knight was very “cavey” at times with the occasional ornate gothicish style architecture thrown in. Silksong seems to have less caves and more structures.
i hope we get more aria of sorrow style gameplay
14:33 Small detail but I wanna appreciate how one of the enemies' droppings (shards) are floating on the water instead of sinking like in the original game. It also raised other questions if anyone wants to answer like is it only the gray shards that float? Do all water now makes items float besides the swamp-like water from this cut? Can Hornet eat the hot dog plant?

Thank you zote for you’re godly wisdom

About the white flowers: They might be based on the Udumbara blossom. In Buddhism, they're said to be sacred flowers from heaven, They're exceedingly tiny and like to grow on metal surfaces, (we see them covering the metal pipe in the background of the Lace fight) they're really rare and are said to bloom every 3,000 years. Scientists aren't sure if it's not actually a type of moss, or fungus rather than a flower. I have no idea if the white flowers are actually based on Udumbara or what it means if they are, but I thought the similarities were interesting.
This could be right since we see a bit of religious imagery.
I did not see that! You’re probably right, cause it would make sense to have them for an enemy that drops lots of rosaries, ie that ant mini-boss.
Ever since I saw the trailer I was just counting the minutes until mossbag would make a video.
I feel like tools in this game are going to lead to some really interesting speedruns
In the eighteenth shot, those things in the foreground and background also look really similar to the design of the crest used in the same shot.
Kinda fun to have subtitles ON for the conclusion, getting to know your personal take on the trailer. It's like finding pieces of missing lore in a game. Nice video as always!
Long have i waited. For the new Silksong trailer.
Something I found interesting is;
The elevator Hornet takes looks *very* similar to Godhome architecture imo.
I do think you're right there.
This video was great. Already deciphering core mechanics, speculating plot points, encountering lore details and of course, a classic James Cordon joke. Fantastic.
Mr.Moss I am glad to hear your voice once more! Seeing how you are totally alive and not a mimic is very nice to know.
I wish this man would just do a full pivot on this channel and start doing what he actually loves: analyzing and lore-dropping on 80s and 90s sitcoms.

13:47 come on now! That's an insult to the bug XD
"silksong will not release anywhere after june-12-2023" -mossbag
WELL SHIT
The fact that the trailer came out on my birthday makes me all the more happy
the scene of hornet stabbing a bug with a cloth over their head HAS to be a Dark Souls 3 reference. The sequence is IDENTICAL to the ashen one's wedding ceremony with Anri!!!
I'm surprised that more people are not talking about this, with all the talk that HK is literally bug Dark Souls.
mossbag's strange fondness for elevators and Windette's strange dislike for elevators is rather peculiar. There is deep lore here.
Nah man its just that all Australians such as myself have an obsession with elevators.
Damn, I thought the sacrifice had gone through.... I mean nice you're still with us.
So I think the cone bosses are early in the game and is tied to the desert place
I’ve also noticed that the lava rising scripted area, looks like it is directly correlated to the song golem because in the previous trailer, the giant golem destroys the ground and I think once defeated the entire ground will break and lead into the lava rising scene
Well, thank you. For everything. I love your content, and I think that you're a shining example for the Hollow Knight Community, and for the Silksong community as well.
Keep up the good work.
At this point, mossbag knows the entire plot to silksong
17:37 i think this could also be in the warlord's tower because you can see giant scissors hanging from the platform in the bottem of the screen, similar to the scissors the enemie had

Something I noticed about Hornet going down the elevator is that, the lever is gone, that would explain why it's falling rather than normally descending. Idk what it means but it is something I saw
I get a feeling that Seth or however it’s spelt is gonna be how tiso would be if he was a fight and it makes me happy to think we’ll finally get to fight what he would’ve been!
I’m so glad it came out before the sacrifice was complete. Who would be able to break down the trailer ???

Dearest mossbag, you never fail us with your breakdowns❤ Thanks for the quick and insightful analysis, and for your keen eyes🙏
22 minutes? I thought this would be over an hour!
Love it eitherway. :D
My theory regarding objects sticking out of the ground in shot 18th:
- game includes a trope of a fanatic religious cult
- circle with bolts and long shaft is kind of a cross
- so it is used as an attribute item by that offscreen bug, let's say acolyte
- and it is used on graveyards, sticking out of the ground, with silk attached as kind of a tradition to leave important resource to the dead
- Last Judge could be a cult leader then
"Hey, has anyone seen Mossbag?"
