Thanks a lot. I would say that the main reason why it improved so much was because I couldn't see the timer during the run. In my last run, I could see the timer, so I freaked out and lost 13 seconds on absrad. This time, I had no idea I was on a decent pace, so I wasn't scared.

Imagine if when Radiance get caught and Void shows up, instead of slashing her face off, they just pick something from inside and it's the exact same Knight, with the red Fury aura. Releases the tendrils holding Radiance, lobs the Knight to her and then a goddamn FATALITY ensues bro.

I’ve been doing my first real grind on pantheon of hallownest recently (after almost 500 hours in the game lol), and seeing this has given me the determination to continue. I’ve died to AbsRad 3 times now and but I can consistently beat her in practice. Such a pain.
I'm so glad to hear that this is a motivation. Remember, if you're ever feeling uncertain about whether or not you can beat absrad, I think you should practice again in HOG. That may seem boring, but it's much more boring to do the whole pantheon again.

I was salty at NKG, but I was salty at most bosses tbh, including Markoth. NKG is much worse for speedruns since you're counting on the fire pillars attack happening, preferably right after the opener (didn't get quite so lucky this time), but he can literally kill your whole run if he wants to. I've seen times where he goes like 20 seconds without doing the attack. But, objectively speaking, NKG is the best boss in the game, and Markoth is one of the worst.
How do you disable the Screen shake? I often take damage while using fury because of Screen shake effecting my visibility (Non Yap version I take damage bc of Screen shake how 2 disable please)
You need to go to This PC, Program Files x86, Steam, Steamapps, Common, Hollow Knight, Hollow Knight Data, open up the Config document, and change screen shake multiplier from "1" to "0"

@@211aonscratch4 I struggle the common struggles: (pure vessel, absrad, sly, hornet 2, nkg) you know, those sorta harder bosses. You obviously don’t need to teach me each one, but any form of more general advice could be helpful.
@@kingmaple9252 The best general advice I can give is to practice a lot in Hall of Gods and use descending dark (except for NKG, it's great for the others).
@@CoralReaper707 Grubberflys is also active with 1 HP and fury but sadly doesn't compete in terms of damage with the other three notch charms (strength, quick slash, flukenest, or even shaman stone which we also don't have room for). I may do a run of p5 with grubberfly just for fun tho.
Sardine Slayer is correct. Also, if you want to do runs without overcharm, I recommend either: "strength, quick slash, shaman, fury" or "strength, quick slash, steady body, fury, longnail"

@@changedGOD2 Unfortunately, the best way to beat Markoth is to practice the ascended version. The fight is very "simple" in that he only has two attacks, but is difficult because of the hundreds of different scenarios he can put you in. If some of the bosses cooperated better (like the first Mantis Lord appearing on the fluked side, in the flukes) you would probably be able to shave off at least 2 seconds But hey its better than anything i could ever do cus i suck at this game and i suck even more at speedrunning

I hate markoth though I just can't do it ascended. I'm out of practice though, 'cause I haven't played the game for a couple of months but I'll come back to it eventually and face Markoth. Can you give me any tips for him?
@@changedGOD2 Unfortunately, the best way to beat Markoth is to practice the ascended version. The fight is very "simple" in that he only has two attacks, but is difficult because of the hundreds of different scenarios he can put you in. If some of the bosses cooperated better (like the first Mantis Lord appearing on the fluked side, in the flukes) you would probably be able to shave off at least 2 seconds
But hey its better than anything i could ever do cus i suck at this game and i suck even more at speedrunning
He could definitely shave of 2 seconds, hell World Record is 16:10!
That's 100% correct, but honestly the biggest timesave was WD. That fiasco was +11.7 seconds.
