Nice vid.. so got mine hooked up.. I put the red and yellow together that goes to power the box when hds unit turns on.. but noticing the Power light on the black box AT blinks green then red then green and though the unit stays on along with AT box should I be concerned it’s blinking on the led? Running a separate battery dedicated to the HDS and At.. any idea why it blinks like that? It doesn’t shutdown however
Can you show a quick video of how you connect the Active Target wiring to the fuse and into your on/off switch plus battery? I know it sounds stupid but I’m a newbie and don’t know how to set mine up without seeing a step by step video.
Right from your red wire. crimp on a ring terminal that will fit on the screw of your inline switch. (also depends on the type of inline switch you get) To other side of inline switch, another ring terminal from your wire length that holds the inline fuse (insert proper fuse). Then its the other end of the wire, is another ring terminal that fits your batter post. It's best to use heat shrink tubing or heat shrink terminal if possible. Best for Marine use. Inline switch you can get at any auto store, same with ring terminals, heat shrink connections. Those guys will be able to get you what ever you need. It's all color co-ordinating according to wire gauge size too for connectors.
The yellow is just the wake-up wire. So it will turn on the active target when you turn on the fishfinder. That’s one way to do it. The other is tap the yellow into the red wire. Black wire goes to negative terminal on your battery and red to positive after you put an inline fuse then to battery

One cuestión I installed and joined the yellow cables of the elite and the active target, but when I turn on the elite the active does not turn on, if I connect it to the positive if it does turn on, is the yellow cable damaged, that is why the elite does not turn it on? i have a 50a lithium battery

its normal, the power goes green then amber and back and forth. Completely normal. Mine does it too.
hi, I have done everything like you, everything seems working. but my black box power litght is RED. whats the problem can be?
error of connection of some type. Are all your leads to the battery properly done and not loose?

Do you have an inline switch on the red power cable? Is it turned on?
Is your fuse between the switch and the active target factory wiring?
between the battery and wiring to the front where the power cable is connected to.
