Boys, please if you see a female classmate uncomfortable, or if she's taking a cover to bathroom, STOP STARING. This is literally women's health, don't act like it's something wrong. Every female has periods, don't see it as something that's not normal.

I mean, if they're curious then there's nothing wrong. In fact, as women we should help a man know more about menstruation if he's being curious and wants to know.

Once I went to Cycle rally and I was having my periods and it was the second day ,when I told one of my friend that I was having periods pain and so I wanted to return home on car and not by cycling she told in a very disrespectful manner that nothing will happen though she was a girl and when everyone saw I was going on car they failed to understand especially the boys they were comparing me with my freind and saying I don't have energy and I returned on car...then I told them about periods but still they were not agreeing they were telling"Inta bhi kya dard hota hain cycle chala ke aa nahi payi" I felt very sad ...I admire vedantu for breaking the taboos on periods 🙏🙏🙏 🙏🙏🙏

    So what happened was
Me my friends (one male and one female) were normally sitting and my female friend told me that she was having period cramps and it was heavy flow day you know than our guy friend asked what was wrong she at first was like no nothing but then she told about it to our male friend he seemed to understand and like he always teases us but after we told him about it he seems so calm and asks both of us if we are okay?🥺

I think this is a very important thing and I'm so happy that Shreyas sir and Anubha ma'am spoke about this. It's amazing how open they are unlike many other teachers (especially male) out there who hesitate to even speak about it biological terms while teaching lessons. I hope not only the girls but also the boys who watched this session learnt a bunch and understood periods better. It's wonderful how ma'am and sir also spoke about the data...just really sad to see how the stats in our country are. Let's help the cause. Let's try out best to help remove this taboo..whether it's just educating another person about it or helping someone receive pads...let's do something.

And we do not need to glorify what is a perfectly normal thing to do. That is how a parent should be like! But we live in such a world where people make unnecessary taboos of literally anything :(

Hy ma'am and hy sir....thank you so much sir and ma'am actually I am much more happy that this session was taken by a male and female teacher collectively to burst these taboos around periods at my home still my aunt does not let me touch anything in the kitchen. And I am so uncomfortable around my father brother and uncle but you both made it so easy now.
I wish people understand that what we go through.
Here I would like to share one more story about my experience.
Last year in July I was at my grandmother house there we need to sit on the floor and some on the sofa so due to periods I was uncomfortable to sit on floor so I asked my brother to sit there he said that he is having some pain so he can't he can say that he has a problem but I can't openly say that I am having my periods which is really sad and even my mother forgot about it so I just openly said it that I am on my periods in front of everyone.
Each and every person out there was looking at me as I am some sort of terrorist except my mother and my brother because they are the one's not believing in taboos but still others were like.
Iss ladki.ko sharam nhi ati and all that.
And I was just 14 at that time which is definitely something really hurting.
But thanks to both of you.
Thank you very very very much 💓💓

I know these all but the thing is if I will say this thing to my mom... She won't agree..... I said her a lot of times but she still stop me to go to temple and wash my hair. I say her that we are the children of god so they will accept us no matter what , just like u treat us but she don't understand.
And U know right arguing with parents leads to what..😢😢😢😢😢
But the thing is that if we are aware than we can change the future conditions regarding this .😇

In my opinion , it's your choice but still going to temple in these days are not that acceptable and sometimes we have to accept some rules and beliefs but about washing your hair feel free to wash it whenever you want there's nothing wrong in doing personal hygiene, my mom also used to say this but i just say that I forgot about it ;)

I am going to switch to menstrual cups after consulting a doctor it will help me to perform better during periods days and let me share my experience
And there are myths about menstrual cup that teens can't use etc etc so i would suggest do not switch without consulting and having discussion with doctor

One thing I want to say that....
Not only because of money some of girls like me can't afford pads but because of lack of sanitary pads means that some pads are named as sanitary but they are not in hygienic conditions using pads creats problems also..
so what about others i don't know but my mom used to say me that to not use pads ....
Pads provided by school should also be hugienic so that girls like me can use those ......
    💕💕❤️❤️💕💕❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰🥰
    What say.....

Actually I never knew what a period really mean. And when my friends asked me O said I haven't heard of such a thing so they asked me why you use sanitary napkin so I said its a Pampers used by adults and my friends tried toale me understand what period literally meanand when I asked my mom she said she don't know anything and such a thing doesn't exit. And when I got my first period I was very much shocked to such extent that I thought it's something fatal and when I confronted my mom why she didn't tell me she said she was shy felt shame to share these kinds of thing. And I was literally shocked and still now I don't know why people are like this

the reason for not going to temple is that when we go through our cycle at that time the vibrations we emit are not good ... means the thoughts and vibes are not good to go in the temple for devotion and prayers... its not intentionally but happens to everyone and its biological so its no harm to go temple .... its just my perception and the reason i have read somewhere 😄😄

If you feel more pain than your friends then you should consult a dr. Abnormal pain can due to pcos or other diseases that are usually ignored in the name of period pain even by Doctors also. So, if your dr Says it's a normal period pain. You should change the dr. Don't ignore your pain.
