I like the complete brake downs & the hint tips & the knowledge you got ,that’s what I get out of your videos , always learning 👌 sometimes you gotta admit there’s always some other guy better than you ,this is that time 😂 💯👌🤙🇬🇧
I think you're ok with the paper towels bug, your finger nails (lookin good my man lol) were in the way so we couldn't see the paper towels! ROFL. 😂😂😂❤❤
Another great vid, thanks Bug. Question: why don’t you just heat the case up again to install the new bearings instead of freezing the bearings/crank? Edit: Nvm I saw you heat the case and freeze the bearings.
A brother thanks for watching I appreciate it and that is simply just for a simpler fit because sometimes the bearings and ambient temperature can be a little bit stubborn so phrasing them actually helps the fitment especially with depth and precision. 😎
Ahh okay I kinda assumed it was a shot at harbor freight😂 love the videos man, you kinda sound like Ricky from TPB, just with some of your eloquent euphemisms😂
Can you breaking 3.3 with 25% sidewinder fuel….what is the oil content in that 25%,,I wish they would say the content on the bottle…..BTW…what’s up with someone who wants instant gratification on your videos…I never miss a one. ,,,my hurrying days are over,,,I love your explanations that you put out….you’ve taught me a lot stuff,,,THANKS A MILLION….I HEAR MY WIFE BECONNING……YUP SLOW AND GO🇺🇸👍🚘😃😃😃😃
Hey brother I appreciate the kind words thank you very much for sticking around through all my nonsense and yeah you can absolutely break in your engine with 25 or 30% the 25% is 9% be sure to preheat! If you want more oil it's 2.56 fluid ounces oil to one US gallon will bump it 2% of you need
Can I your take on this? I have a brand new modded 3.3 (not broken in). It has boca hybrid ceramic bearings and a brand new RB Mods rod installed. I don't want to damage the bearings or rod during break in. Should I put the stock bearings and rod back in before breaking it in? I know 3.3's are rough on eternals during the break in period and I REALLY do not want to damage the RB rod.
It's completely up to you but a giant waste of time just pretty heat the engine and start it and run it and do not follow the break and process they suggest go with the atom Drake method it's better
@@thebug4046 yeah I always preheat before every start and never follow the traxxas method. I just don't want to damage that rod seeing as you can't buy them anymore. Also before running this engine I think i'm going to wait to find a serio and/or aftermarket crank so its better balanced and less rough on the bearings.
@@revtech2917 Sounds like you're doing everything correctly I wouldn't worry about it those rods are so strong and well made but definitely with the preheating that rod will probably last forever. A shot of extra castor oil helps to. 😎
convenient that you posted this, doing some 2.5r bearings tomorrow
Nice!

@@jimmygeorge4268 To be honest I have never had any experience with that before but I would suggest your favorite 2 stroke oil. 😎
@@thebug4046 Thankyou sir…appreciate the comeback 🇺🇸👍🚘
whats with your tool sounding like it has a screw inside?
The handles are actually hollow and you can put screws inside of them the end cap pops off
Dude, you're going to scratch the piston with that paper towel! Why use a torch to remove that bearing?? you're gonna ruin that engine 🤣🤣🤣
Trust me i have heard it all lol
