@@thebug4046 The only thing left on my Chevy before I can daily drive it is a clutch change, and I want to work on the bed floor a bit, but ye. An unexpected blessing fell into my lap in march and it made me put my entire RC hobby on pause to work on it. Grampa's old truck is slow AF...250 I6, 3 on the Tree...but it runs like it still has a warranty and doesn't leak a drop of ANYTHING. Drives great. Ride is sublime. Love it! I think I'll start with some planes! Two Saito 40s on a VQ A26K and an OS FT-120 Gemini II on a 25% Spacewalker this saturday. Fly in at my club. It will tote them there and I'll let 'em eat in the skies above!

@@TestECull nice man! That's what I learned to drive in was a 70 C10 250 6 with a 3 in the tree! Awesome old truck I miss it a lot. It was my old man's he had it sitting 1983 and sadly it got stolen off his property after he was found past away and ended up being destroyed and crushed witch nearly killed me when I found out. Keep that ole truck alive as long as you can man! 💯🍻

@@thebug4046 My forever daily! My dad learned to drive in this one too. Never been out of my family. I inherited it because my aunt on that side was selling the property it was stored at and they figured offer it to me before dealing with facebook tire-kickers or the scrap man. It took me all of 5 minutes to get that ol' six buzzing again after 20 years in a shed. File the points, disconnect the tank, rig a nursing bottle, put some fuel in the bowl, hot battery, twist the key, and it busted right off.

@@TestECull That's awesome and that's what's so nice about the old vehicles so simplistic you can get them running with any rubber bands or duct tape you have around not like today's computerized garbage that has a fit if you don't get the tire pressure right haha

@@merlewest7809 i made a video awhile ago about how to buy one. I don't know if he has any rustler pipes left. He made them in 2003 and they had been sitting in his shop taking up space. So he has been selling them like hot cakes. And won't be making anymore. So get ahold of him and order asap. It's in my last 5 or 6 videos

Depending on the engine it does help. My 2.5R only had one shim from factory so I can't go any lower. But I know you guys in Netherlands can only get 16% nitro so down shimming to increase the compression ratio will give better timing and better performance. If you have 3 shims remove one and see how it goes. You can probably get away with pulling two.😎🍻🍻

It can but 16% is way to much oil and will be more sensitive tuning and make less power. get the sidewinder pro blend 30% or off road 25% or pro blend 20% from sidewinder.

Go with klotz super techniplate oil at 10% by volume and then your klotz nitro at 25% by volume the rest methanol. I wanted to try klotz nitro but can't find it over here in North Korea lol

@@thebug4046 would it be best to not use caster oil in the mix if so what %?

@@maxcox6019 you can run an all castor fuel if you want. It's just such a heavy oil the klotz super techniplate seems to tune and perform a bit better. And not get sticky like an all castor fuel. But that's completely up to you. Play around and see what you like more. If you want a clear all castor fuel use blendzall green label castor oil or if you want maxima castor 927 oil works great to. If you want full synthetic fuel klotz KL198 light techniplate or klotz KL200 original techniplate.

When you let off and you have an erratic chattering idle sound that's usually your low speed needle is to lean. Open it Counterclockwise wise an hour or 2 will usually calm it down 🍻😎

Yeah it's been pretty tough that's why there hasn't been a whole lot of videos and just haven't been able to afford it luckily a friend of mine donated a gallon of fuel to me in exchange for some parts I had laying around. But from now on I'm going to be burning 0% since it's affordable for me that only $17 per gallon instead of 80 jaha thanks for stickin around man 💯🍻
