I got a headache from editing, so now it's time to go chill with some chocolate milk or something.
I know how you feel. Editing is sometimes a real pain.
I’m still waiting for the “I hate choose my combo” video
Good choccy milk for you
Have some choccy milk, cause you're epic
He need some milk
Jeez I cant stop binge-watcing your channel right now I wish I found it earlier.

4:22 asdf course finally has a purpose
Hey, enjoyed the video, but there’s one thing I’d like to point out. At 4:00, you mentioned that you can’t get ‘chain’ or slip drifts while holding an item, but the thing is, you can. Play ccp or GCN, hold the item button with your middle finger, ccp dpad with index / GCN dpad with thumb and do normal chain/slip drifts.
I blame my headache on that one lol. You're absolutely correct, you can hold items while doing chains with wheelies.
If you use a mixed claw grip, you'll most likely be holding the item with your index finger, leaving no open finger to buffer a wheelie other than your thumb or your right hand, which either doesn't work or is excessively awkward.
I play with the Wii remote so I don't have to claw. I can just shake the controller and then do a drift.
@@Arcintel I play nunchuck so it’s really east for me
I want to know how not to get mario karted
Don’t play Mario kart
Take better lines. It will help but still pray to Mario
Your videos are of insane quality. Gives me the feeling I'm watching a professional analysis of a sports match on TV. Much respect and keep it on!
Super helpful video thanks a million.
Also happy Easter (if you do that thing)
Congrats on 5k subs. Great video as always
I don’t know why you don’t have a bigger fan base because your videos are amazing ❤️
Not sure where you get the "frame perfect" or 4 frame window of chaining drifts. The ability to quickhop and instantly drift again has many factors that go into it such as the wheelie buffer, rotation of the bike, the slope of the surface, and holding neutral on the control stick during the chain, so the window can be anywhere from 1 to about 6 frames really.
i think it might be talking about just on a flat surface like mc3 after a hard or soft drift (because why would you be chaining fail-drifts), but idk what wheelie buffer is so i dont think im providing the most accurate description
@@BunnyBoing Even on flat surfaces, the roll rotation from different length drifts and drift intensities, directional inputs during a chain drift, and the type of vehicle dramatically change the timing window.
oh ok. i did notice that when i used to tas chain drifts sometimes wouldnt work with a 4 frame window and i guess that makes more sense
The BC3 footage at the beginning looked so clean
I believe that the people working at CTGP said that ASDF Course won’t be deleted anytime soon, as it is one of the most played tracks despite its low quality
Wait what? It litteraly never gets picked when I play online xD
@@MKWahPhil It’s very popular on Time Trials
Hi, those comments by “Tom”, please report them / delete them, or block them from your channel. It is a bot, and if you reply to it, well, I don’t exactly remember what happens, but I just recommend you don’t. Great video by the way!
I was wondering where those came from.
I feel like to Arc outside drift doesn't well exist
Thats because it isnt viable and therefore less important to put in a video
Aw this mans is so wholesome
Thanks
_When none of these controller input limits exist for you because you play Wii remote and Nunchuck_
Still gonna have to practice this stuff, though. Lack of practice leaves me realigning a lot mid-straightaway.
Can you do a video about explain how a track is a front running track or a good bagging track ect. In detail
Can't wait for course Kickstarter to resume!
the are actuly all amazing you video too, my fav drif is the TAS Drift ive done it in my time trail, and its woth it to do it
So useful
This is a great tutorial!
The only place you really have to use a tas turbo is to squeeze a mini turbo out to do the waluogi stadium bagging strat shroomless
Cool tips
Apparently I've been doing the more difficult chain drift method without knowing there's another way to do it. Honestly, I'm fairly consistent at it so I might just stick with it, the wheelie method sounds awkward.
I started playing this game again a few months back and i stopped using auto as b4 i stopped playing this game i would use auto and i remember wondering why i got low air in some circumstances
You can do the Tas Turbo with nunchuk
Yo arc it’s me!!
lets go
Can somebody explain to me the timing for the wheelie when doing a chain drift on nunchuk? Should you be wheelieing before you release B or simultaneously? I can never get a side to side chain consistently
You release the drift, so let go of B, wheelie (shake up), then drift again (B) all really stupid fast, the timing is really tight so if you aren't getting a slip it's because you're too slow, and if your wheelie isn't coming out then you're doing it too fast.
ArcIntel thanks!
So for nunchuck you can always do a wheelie buffer right
Yes
Idk what it is but I just can’t get consistent at chain drifts. I am semi consistent at doing them where you switch the direction you drift but I just can’t get it down where you do it continuing in the same direction. It’s incredibly frustrating because I feel like I’m doing exactly what I’m supposed to. I can only get it like 1/10 attempts. Any tips? I’ve been practicing on and off for like a year and still can’t get it down
Hey Arc I followed your tutorial "how to play lounge" and I joined the discord server and got verified but now I am waiting 2 or 3 weeks and I didn't get a rank. Do you have any idea what I should do?
I actually had this happen to another guy recently, in his case he made his discord account too quickly to the time he joined lounge. I don't know the specifics but they put you under a probation period. I'd try raising a ticket.

Nunchuck players:
Am I a joke to you?
How about a kart or outside drift guide, I couldn't find anything. And thanks for your content, I have improved a lot! Cheers
I dont think he plays with karts that often, but he does mention a "two hop dirft" or something in one of his videos (in the soft drift/delay drift one i think)
I feel like making a Kart guide is pointless because Karts aren't viable online
@@MKWahPhil they are they just are much harder
@@guyfauks2576 Karts and outside drifting bikes are much worse then inside drifting bikes. Some are okay, but not nearly as good as the Bowser Bike or Mach Bike. Even if you're very skilled, it's very difficult to win online if you're playing on a high skill level.
thats how asdf course is supposed to look? i spent weeks worrying about what I did wrong
It's so ugly. xD
There was another custom track named Haunted Woods which somehow looked even worse but thankfully it got a massive modern update.
I am an begginer karter and I have found out that in some situations it's a better idea to cancel the drift than going thru with it, can you do a toutorial for other strange but usefull drifting techniques?
Maybe a kart focused video would cover it but there is only one instance of dropping your drift for inside bikes which is the dk mountain gap cut. Karts lack the maneuverability that inside drifting brings which is why it’s important for them to have shallower turns in some cases to let them align properly for the following corners. One thing unique to karts is a swivel hop (or so I call it). You can hop several times in one direction after a mini turbo to continue moving forward while turning up to 90° for realignment when you can’t drift. Another similar technique is hopping back and forth to delay your drift so you don’t go off course. It’s really useful because sometimes you won’t have good enough alignment to take turns with a drift at your current position.
@@blank_ivysaur yes a kart focused video would be great
What do you mean my cancelling drifts? What specific situations would you do this in? Because it sounds fastly slower. Maybe you're not drifting tightly enough, which can be fixed by doing a double hop/double drift like the shroom on rMC3 or the last turn of rWS.
FLX I’ve noticed a couple drifts in 200cc where you might want to drop the mini turbo but in 150 I can’t think of many situations unless you have a horrible line or got bumped.
@@blank_ivysaur In TTs, cancelling your drift is only really used on rDKM, or if you're playing with manual Jetsetter/Sprinter. Online however, it can be perfectly reasonable to cancel drifts in awkward spots if you've been bumped or charging up an SSMT in an awkward spot. Double drifts are exceptionally useful in both TTs and online play, but are used at a higher frequency online.
4:04 Wheelers can lol. Also, ASDF course is gone
He roasted asdf course lol
Do World Records use TAS drifts?
No not one of them
@@frederickwallace8980 oh ok!
Can you explain the follow thru a little more? I’m having trouble and I don’t really understand.
You don't do the wheelie instantly after the drift. Instead you wait until your mini turbo is almost over and then do a wheelie.
@@MKWahPhil Hey man, I appreciate the response in helping me out. I eventually figured it out after some practice, but thanks again because this would’ve tremendously helped me out if I was still struggling. I hope you have a good day today :)
@@d_comesclutchnow2267 Have a great day too! :)
2:22 How? How does the angle change so much.
By immediately going to the right after drifting and then inputting a wheelie
Pleaseeee Wall Clip tutorialsssss☹☹☹
4:24 Well 2 years later I hate to break it to you but…
I don't understand how people dont know how to do this. it seems like its just something you pick up from playing online or watching people play on youtube.
