    This will be the perfect video to link newer players to when explaining drifts. You really broke the classes down perfectly explaining how you really make combinations out of those instead of one or the other. Amazing job man

    I think the one thing YOU need to remember about drifts is that outside drift vehicles have outside drift even when going for lake cut. Don’t think I’ve forgotten that part of the gun game. 😆

  • @autumn4442
    @autumn4442 4 роки тому +1

    I think new players learn the spin drift before he delay drift because it is more obvious to spot and it is talked about more (not a lot, but more than the delay drift). I'm guessing this is primarily because delay drifts just seem too... obvious for a more experienced player to talk about. I, for one, learned of spin drifts much sooner than delay drifts for this reason. I only learned of delay drifts when Troy explained the Delfino Square dock shortcut to one of his inexperienced friends, and he said to delay the turn input to get the mini turbo easier.

  • @InsaneisEpic
    @InsaneisEpic 4 роки тому

    the reason why ski drifts are easier the spear is because the vehicle bounces are more exaggerated than than flame runner, so in essence once you land you'reactually sort of bouncedrifting in the other direction. ig its sorta like the hopless gap methodon mg but more precise since you're doing it on a generally flat surface instead of over a gap

    Ski drifts are actually harder to get with the gcn (and probably better known as "Reo drift") because the stick has to travel a longer distance from hard left to hard right and vice versa

  • @Icysnowman256
    @Icysnowman256 4 роки тому

    Is there any way to do...any of these, with the Wii Wheel? It's basically impossible to be neutral on the Wii Wheel, but you can still jerk it from side to side about as quick as on a normal controller. Are any/all of these special types of drifts off-limits because of that?

    1) man, inside drifting ain’t even a drift when you think about it; it’s essentially just tight turning. That’s something I never liked about that “drift” style.
    2) I never thought Mario Kart could be this complex.
