05:28 You do not have to point the remote. It doesn't have IR emitters. It communicates to the base and then the base relays the IR or BT signal.
I have a mx 350 which is dying, Would this thing work for me? my receiver and xbox and direct tv receiver are in a closet 5 feet to 10 feet from my living room? would the hub just sit in the closet with the rest of my equipment? Thankyou!!
Yes. you would have to put the hub in the closet with the devices. It also comes with IR blaster if you also have devices outside of the closet that need to be controlled.

@Jjkplayz1 I enjoy it, although I like the Sofabaton U2 better since that has a built in IR blaster and it's cheaper, but you can't go wrong with either
