D.I.Y. FISH FINDER SUN VISOR GPS COVER MADE EASY AND CHEAP!

Sup guys! I decided to make this video after 2 days of kayak fishing with 6 total hours of sleep. Please forgive my mind laps as i talk through the video. THIS IS A EASY, CHEAP UNDER $3 DOLLARS! NO POWER TOOLS REQUIRE DONE IN 10 MINUTES!!

So my buddies fishfinder is mounted flat on his console so I came up with the idea of using an actual black 9 x 7“ bowl used for meal prepping and we cut the back of it off and since his fishfinder mounted with double tape on the back it Stuck right back to the panel and we also use the lid to cover the entire thing. He could still sort of see through it if it was raining a bit but yeah, great idea.

Good job! You could carefully cut that lip off the scrap piece and using some super glue or plastic-weld to the top of your visor, and that would make it more ridged. Thanx again for the vid.

What size screws and length are you using?

David Morales it's a metric screw. M3 is the size. 5x6mm is the length. 2:11
