Man, you make so much since. I like watching your VIDEOS as I make my own" FISHING STUFF" LOL God Bless you brother keep doing what you're doing.
BTW, I’m really excited that MY PICTURE made the video....that is a big old jar of awesome sauce!
Seal the ends of the nylon tube by heating it and compressing it closed with pliers like your mate did in another video with the paracord,
Then also make a hole in the flatten plastic like he did. Use irrigation plastic tube like for sprinkler systems and drippers 👍
I really like your video's. I just made my rod holding rack for my 40 fishing poles. I spent a lot of money on 1 -1/4" tees but love the organization. Great Idea. Thanks, Greg
That truly is an awesome Rod rack , but 40 Rods,,,, dang it man you did spend some money lol , I think I spent between 35 or 40 on mine and it only holds 12 . ,,,,,, hey I forgot to say on that video that you can cut up a pool noodle and stick it in the end holders so your rods all sit level , I appreciate you always watching brother its ppl like you and a lot of the other great guys on here that makes it worth making the videos
Man that is a dead-on tutorial... I appreciate that they were the exact same weight and that they both made the exact same sound when rattling. And I must add that I appreciate the need to add the sticker step. Very important part of the process!
Now Stanley you know I'm just acting crazy ,,,,I hope lol . I appreciate it buddy happy new year's
good video. If not making a rattle stick, there is no need to seal with the wire nuts top and bottom. They just need to be closed in the middle to prevent the lead getting out. I do the same but just put a hole in the top and a snap swivel to prevent them coming out the top. Also if you have access to old fasteners, they can be used to seal the bottom. screws and bolts make good weight material also, eventhough not as heavy as lead.
I just like to seal em so the top trys to stands up a little for going over stuff . But its not necessary, there's no air ( buoyancy ) in the slinky weights or the bullet weights
Awesome. Already made some of the previous sinkers which work pretty good. Happy New Year!💥🎣😎
Yes Sir they both work good actually I used em all a few days ago . I was making these because I had a bunch of old split shots I wasn't using so I made a video lol
Man you make some good stuff and save lots money and it’s fun to make stuff yourself
I agree
Awesome videos, they all work great, and they save you money 💰. Thank you Keith 🍻
They do all work good , the important part to me is how easy and fast they are
I made a drag weight by taking a short section of chain and wrapping it with duct tape or using a bicycle inner tube it worked great. Your idea is a good one too
Chain is a good idea really lol , that would work good in a pinch too
Great alternative to expensive lead fishing weights is lead shot sold for reloading shotgun shells. Or talk to your local auto repair shop and get their discarded wheel weights and cast your own sinkers or make your own shot.
Yes Sir you are exactly right , I have videos on that too . Sometimes if you can't get lead tire weights I'll go too the scrapyard and just buy some lead it's on 50 cent a pound . Still a lot cheaper

That's another sinker video you might like
I just want the money spent in this sport on diy sinkers for the past 3 years lol good video buddy
Lol I had a bunch of used split shots I had left over from the buoyancy test I did and I was trying to think of a way to use em , so I bought some nylon tube and they turned out pretty awesome so he we ate again with another drifting weights video , but I eas shocked how easy and how much they look like the Drifting stix
Yours looks even better.
You sir are a genius! I enjoy every one of your videos
Thank you so much , that means more than you know , you just saying that brother thanks
We call them bouncing betties. Haven't used one in years. Another great video.
We use em for trolling and dragging bait on the bottom , I'm not surprised you've used em though , I'm pretty sure they came from steel head or dome kind of trout fishing . When you use then for catfishing they are usually bigger and heavier
Great video Keith, nothing like SAVIN MUNEY!!
Happy New Year
Great DIY brother! I'll bring you some of my drifting weights when I come down for patriots tournament.
That would be awesome brother I'd like toi tru yours
Awesome idea. Happy New year
Thank you brother Happy new years
Can't beat saving money, good video Kieth. 23.2K !!!!
Thank you buddy lol , those really are just like a drift stix man if you like those
Very NICE my friend!!! Have a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR Keith. Godspeed brother, 👍Jay👍
Yes Sir Godspeed to you too brother , that's the most important thing is to be safe
Excellent video. That is quite easy.
It is easy man and I was amazed after making em how much they were like the drifting stix you buy ,,,,,but cheaper lol
Great DIY Buddy! Happy New Year and Happy Fishing!
Thank you for watching brother , you be safe man
Great DIY, thanks for the info! Heading to the store now
Thanks for watching buddy
Sweet this would be great when trolling in rivers
Yes Sir , I don't fish rivers much , but some of our reservoirs have a good current when it rains a lot and they work great I've used em
@@FishinNStuff yea looks like it wont get snagged on rocks , a lot of the river systems i fish is rocky with stomps , thanks for sharing bud
Thank you for watching brother
Good job
Thank you Lyle
Great info as always brother. Keep up the good work.
Thank you buddy
Thanks for another great money saver idea
Thank you Sir , I appreciate you watching brother
Love your video's bud!
Thank you Sir , I really do appreciate that
Always a great video
Happy New Year
Fishin N Stuff Happy New Year
Awesome video man. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if there is a way to pull a vacuum in the tube before sealing it. Seems like the trapped air would cause buoyancy and you would lose some of the weight under water.
You lose a little buoyancy but you really only need 2oz and its 2.7oz the air helps the front stand up so it rises over stuff easier . If you don't want any buoyancy I would use the solid core weights I made , Have a safe and prosperous New Year buddy
Thank you awesome DIY.
Thank you Sir I appreciate it brother
Great video buddy
Thank you Sir
Hay how about doing a video on pvc boat cover support system great stuff
Well I keep mine in a building but I'll look into it brother
Nice
Happy New Year
Very cool thanks for this I like saving money. First got to make some money thou. Lol. Hey happy new year bro. God bless
Happy New year's brother
I would make some of those if I ever lost all my 1oz teardrop sinkers I've been using. I never seem to lose one though. I get em hung up once in a while, but so far I've been able to get them all free. I'm probably just really lucky. Or someone upstairs really likes me.😂👍💯
Will I don't know how any body couldn't like you Bill . I had some old split shots laying around so I made those and they turned out so good I decided to make a video lol , they ate close to being drifting stix clones lol
@@FishinNStuff Yeah, I'm sure they work great. I'm serious though. I just never seem to get hung up where I can't get these tear drop sinkers loose. They're just regular old every day 1oz tear drop sinkers. I put them on a sinker slide above the swivel where I tie on my leader. Works for me. Maybe Kerr where I usually fish just doesn't have a lot of snags or rocks on the bottom. I don't know.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@casualcarolinafishing5835 do you troll a lot or drift fish
@@FishinNStuff I don't even have a trolling motor. lol I just drift. If the wind refuses to cooperate, I find a place to anchor in some more shallow water and hope something comes by.😂
Definitely makings some of these!!!!!!
Have a safe and prosperous New Year
Nicely done man sweet.
Thank you brother , I try and keep it simple lol get it lol
Hahaha yeah good one
Well done Keith 👍🏼
Happy New Year
Are these sinkers guaranteed to sink? If they don’t sink, they’re not good sinkers. 😆😂🤣😜
They ate exactly like a Driftingstix sinker . And yes I've used em , they worked great . Haven't lose one yet lol
Just like store bought
Thank you sir
Nice bro
Thank you Sir
Another Finely made DIY next up the vid on using it and other stuff big ty
Thank you brother I appreciate it
Gota try it thanks man 👍
Yes Sir thank you for watching buddy
Awesome. I thought about doing some stuff fishing. Just gotta figure out how lol
Thank you Sir what you thinking about doing
I don't really know. I have never drift fished. But we have a lake not far from me that a lot of people do it for stripers. I have fished a lot of ways but drift fishing I never have new experiences I guess u would say
Drifting or trolling gains you an advantage by letting you cover more water than anchor fishing I guess anything you do though there's going to be pros and cons to it .
Yeah that is true. Before all I had was jon boats and u could not really drift in those. But now since I have the bass boat I think I could rig a pole holder up that stands above the motor some and give it a try
You can drift with about any boat with a drift sock , its like a parachute you throw in the water and cut will keep your boat pointed in the direction the sock is on
Humm ok , never heard of them so it would have been nice to have taken a minute to explain how to use it and the why and when. Thanks
I will brother, I'm sorry about that do you catfish
Great video.I was wondering if you ever thought about poring your own drifting sticks .I am thinking about trying it
I have thought about that one . I've got a really long list of ideas and try and mix things up . I'll fo that eventually
I am trying it tomorrow
Another good video, Greg. Where did you find the solid core bullet weight?
not bad
I appreciate that
BAM !!!
😎👍✌🖖🐟💥🛎
Hahaha yep lol , thanks brother lol
Great video brother!!! 👍👍 how is everything going havent heard from you in a while hope all is well... Keep on making great content brother.... Cant wait til you come up with a crappie fishing invention 😆 HELP US OUT BROTHER 😂

@@FishinNStuff Hummm I'm not sure which videos you have seen.. @@FishinNStuff well the last thing i posted was maybe 2 weeks ago ... I have been making videos maybe over the last month about the plastics im making are working. Basically me showing the views that im catching plenty with them etc.
@@crappiesniper ol ok I watched that video . I like them. New lies you making
@@FishinNStuff brother its good to hear from you ... You are my brother and appreciate you man. I know you're busy bro just trying to make sure i keep in touch with you. You are a special brother to me seriously! I really believe you could do this for a living and make a great living from with you di and your skill set brother! You do a great job man! Keep it going!
How’s it going man I love your videos I watch every time you post I was wondering if you could do a video on making a video on aluminum rod holders to mount to a fishing cart
Do you mean for transporting the toys or for fishing with them or both
Fishin N Stuff both I guess kinda like a fish n mate fishing cart a diy would be great because those carts are kinda expensive
@@michaelpena25 ive got an idea about an Aluminum rod holder to fish with that might work for something like that too
I like your bank rod holder idea. How much you charge to make me one of those?
Where you live at buddy . I imagine those could get expensive too ship
Dumb question : what are drifting sticks used for and how?
There's no dumb questions brother , when your drifting or trolling for catfish you pull your bait very slow so your basically covering a lot more area while fishing than sitting in the same spot , these type weights are more likely to go across a stump or brush pile and not get hung in it because of the shape of it . But to make it work you have to put a float on your hook leader line to keep your hook up so it doesn't hang up either . It's called a sante rig if you google it , and this style fishing is where the planer boards come into play so you can fish more lines at once
Thanks
How to use video next?
I'll do it brother I promise
Just trying to figure out a good way to explain it all
@@FishinNStuff I'm just looking for videos to watch lol kinda boring sitting in icu lmao I have watched alot of videos the past 4 days
Man I hope your getting better I hate hearing things like that I'll be praying for you brother
@@FishinNStuff I am getting there slowly
