2019 Ford Mustang GT V8 review | Australia

- In this video, Jenny reviews the 2019 Ford Mustang GT 5 litre V8 Fastback. It’s a slight facelift of the latest model and it still packs the V8, unlike its inline 4 EcoBoost counterpart. It’s also the best-sold sports car in the world, thanks to its stunning looks, great heritage, good engines and a price that is well under what the European retro sports cars command.
I don’t think any upcoming Mustang will look bad. The overall shape is timeless and the embellishments can change as trends change, making each new Ford Mustang both true to the heritage and relevant at the same time.
The latest Ford Mustang can still be considered one of the best muscle cars for this kind of money, if not the best. Now bring that EV Mustang to Australia for us to review.

Jenny in that slow motion walk showing off the goods 😁😁😁
💢😆showing off that nice little boody😍 😊
she lote me with that glasses....
Those Recaro seats are not stock. Stock leather seats are more comfortable and have heating and cooling functions. I have a Tickford 400kw tune on my GT and I don't know how, but driving the beast at legal speeds on a highway I achieve 8.0 lts per 100km and 12.5 to 13.5km lts per 100km around town (both in normal drive mode) - that's mighty fantastic for the V8. If you kept the car in Sports mode most of the time, your fuel consumption would increase. As far as seating an adult in the rear seat goes, my mates are circa 5' 8" and they fit OK, as long as the ding bats in the front don't want to have their seats all of the way back and tilted as if they are laying on banana chair at the beach.
Great review, Jenny! I've forwarded this to my friend, who's the Communications Manager at Ford Performance in Dearborn, Michigan! Excellent commentary and very entertaining to watch!
Awesome! Thanks for your support and glad you enjoyed :)
Good review! Nice shots and all information you need!
Thank you for this wonderful review👏🏽👏🏽
Jenny with glasses is now my favourite presenter
Love the hat. 👍 Not that I care about the car but Jen walking in slow-mo was a distraction 😉 Now about the car, I love watching them peel off parking lots... and that’s about it. 🤣
2016/17 GT premium looks better on front/bonnet and has the last retro/digital instrument cluster looking like the classic with modern combined. The modern s550 GT Mustangs are very nice cars and should hold there $ for true enthusiasts who know what to look for. A good one will have GT 350 sump with billet oil gears and oil cooler as well as billet timing gear, 1,7/8 ceramic coated headers with 20kw tune on standard air intake is a ver strong reliable setup. ( Herrod supplied) for mine. Some are fetching more $ than 2018 onwards now if in excellent condition with low ks.
8:10 holy shit I just noticed that she's putting in 91 Octane! 91 is NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL in this car!! You MUST use PREMIUM OCTANE ONLY as per the owners manual. 91 is NOT a premium unleaded fuel!!!
No cameras or electronic devices are allowed on the petrol forecourt. I’m surprised Jenny didn’t light up a ciggy as well.
Wow the best review for the best car!!
Jenny you are freakin amazing 😉
Car? Was there a car in the video?
Sorry, I must have been focused on something else that had my attention... 😂
@@Kiarax1 Car? What car?
Thanks for sub, love from Canada, this car's a legend, sometimes, i'm a fan of Mustang.
very good review, for an equally great car. never thought i'd agree that the auto would be a good option, until i recently got a new 2.5i Subaru Outback auto. 👍
Great review as always..
5:45 is where it's at...listen to it roar when she gets on it. Not bad shift times either...
Thanks for the beautiful review honey!! Definitely getting one after watching it
I’m lucky enough to have the limited edition Bullitt. And yeahhhhhhh I love that exhaust! Beautiful car.😎👍🏻
Can you please tell me what is in your oil cap 5w30 or 5w20
Jenny is funny in the best ways! Cool video
4:32 hell ain’t a bad place to be: AC/DC, nice
i use my 2017 gt as a daily driver and i rarely put $40 a fortnite in depends on the right foot and how u drive it , its better on fuel than my bfgt
Oh! jenny, that walk of yours is killing me...... I love it.
Very well Explained thank you
I feel sorry for Chrysler now. The diss is strong on this one. 😂
I tossed up between the Mustang GT and the Stinger GT. Opted for the Stinger, haven't looked back and as a bonus much better fuel consumption. On the highway it runs 7/8L per 100 kms.
Correction. Between 6.7 and 7L/100 kms. It's incredible actually especially on the highway. I just did a highway run today and it read 6.7L/100 kms. And it wasn't on eco mode either. Plus air con running.
I average 12.4 mostly city driving and sound great doing it. People wont be mistaken it for a corolla for sure, not by looks not by sound. Enjoy your stinger.
@@saauuzza is it awkward that in a drag you would lose to a stinger though ?
@@lambbosbread123 drag isn't everything. Having turbo lag isn't an advantage. More importantly the stinker is a boat and handles like one too.
@@saauuzza Lol there is zero turbo lag .
@@lambbosbread123 try do a launch you have next to no boost what are you talking about. All turbo cars have lag especially this twin tubo kia carnival
The PT cruiser could had sold well if it has the ls1 of the time. I was actually looking forward to it.
Great Review Jenny! May I suggest a VBOX performance test in future tests? Cheers! 😃
Not sure she wants to show her v-box on the internet.
Awesome video Jenny the Mustang is great value for money
Hi Jenny I noticed that you put Unleaded in at the petrol station , is that correct, can it run on 91 octane.
I like this car, great review cutie, now LET'S DRIVE.
Anyone notice at 8:07 she is filling with 91
God has blessed this girl.
Many times over...
As always, Jenny is fun to watch..
:49what road is it that jenny is drving on at 4:49, looks like a beatiful view
I will adore the Mustang 4 many years 2 come but I prefer the GT, GT CA special, the Bullitt I know its only 6MT, as well as the Flat plane crank V8 in the GT350, also the upcoming GT500, but I'm Chrysler fan mainly and my dad also I always liked the Dodge charger and challenger scat pak and hellcat redeye and finally the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk I know u all get the Grand Cherokee over there and the 300 SRT also but Idk if u all get the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk or maybe not
Where is that windy road she's driving on? Anyone know?
yes... and yesss
Great! The only thing missing is footwell shots.
why do you want to see her feet?
@@mute1259 I have a pedal pumping fetish.
Hot in heels 😘
$15 petrol per day in the Mustang Jenny.
That's three cups of coffee.
My MX-5 only drinks one cup of coffee per day, leaving one for each of us "If you want to go and take a ride with me" :0
Creep
@@scabootie Not always, sometimes I'm noisy :)
Excellent review. A very good car but so damn common now in Australia.
jenny, you should have your own channel, review your own tuning car or modified car
She's so cute. The gas milage is bad, but it's a small tank, I wouldn't mind if it had a larger tank so I could get more time between fillups.
These comments are gonna be the demise of this channel
95% of comments are about Jenny. I'm here for the girl coz i cant afford a mustang anyways 😂
@@cybertroy2 lol you wouldn't be able to afford her either
Nice hat Jen
Bit of bad information there in the beginning, The Chrysler PT cruiser, blew minds when it first came out, was car of the year and was a huge sale success. the reason Chevy made the HHR was because the PT cruiser was such a big success.
Why put 91? It’s rated at 98 so you’re going to get misfires and knocking.
I was in the market for a sports car, this will hurt most muscle car fans, but I test drove the mustang and a MX5 RF GT... along with a few others. I thought the MX5 was way better. Mainly fun factor and looks. I still deal with the stereotypes pretty much daily. But it’s well worth going with what you like rather than being forced to buy something the masses like. I really enjoy the banter, except when people take themselves too seriously, then I get embarrassed for them. I do still look at these mustang reviews mainly because of that beautiful note they make. Great review Jenny!
I'm with you on this Flor Me, MX-5 is so much fun for such a high proportion of your drive time.
The Missus isn't intimidated by it like she would be with the size and power of the Stang.
Carl Ryan thank you for pointing out the obvious. Absolutely no one who is a muscle car fan would consider the MX5, probably because it’s not a muscle car. I made a mention more for people who are looking for a 2 door sports car. I like all cars and don’t limit myself to a certain make or type. I like what I like. I’m sure there are other like me, maybe in the minority.
Unbelievable. That girl . Asian yet Aussie accent. Thats just so perfect. She is a doll. Is there a car in this video????? Im whistling at you.
Damn that thing revs OUT
Jenny I wish you come with the car! Saves me time ha ha ha 😘
In America we have the Shelby GT350 and the GT500
2:27 (in Beavis and Butthead voices) "Heh, heh, she said BULGES...heh,heh".
We want jenny for a test drive
*that car jenny
How am I supposed to fit more than two people in this bucket?
🎼 Jenny Jenny you’re the girl for me
Is Australia left hand?
Very nice I AM follow from India
Why is she talking about the 2019 changes when these happened in MY2018 not 2019.
Um hello? Why did you guys fill up with 91?
I can tell this was a fun video to film but i hope they didn't really put 91RON in it :P (yea i know its rated for 91 but still)
Richyo exactly what I was thinking when I saw that green pump go in...98 is usually
Blue or red ....and is recommended to use 98
Specs appeal 🙂
NICE CAR !!!
Love your heels Jenny ! ;-)
I might start a company doing mustang centre console conversions.
Until the wonderfull C8 Z51 gets here.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
If I wanted fuel economy I’d buy a diesel powered Volkswagen Golf, if I wanna love driving I’ll keep my 5 litre mustang.
i don't trust any person that would put 91octane in there car
It's not that bad in fuel consumption.
Everything looks good here :)
Dear Jenny...you should have your own UA-cam Channel and dump CarTell.tv
The fuel cost is irrelevant for cars like these, I currently have a VF2 redline Commodore and it’s the same on fuel tbh, even down a little bit in power compared to this but still 12lL or so on average so who cares when you drive something with grunt 🤷🏻♂️😂
Yes that's definitely a great body so gorgeous!! 😋😍
Just wow! for presenter and car.
You buy the V8 knowing you are going to use more fuel daa! But don't put 91 in it!
What's the point of talking about a feature that isn't available in this country.
Didn't this car get a 2/5 safety rating
How about putting the right fuel in it! You don’t put E10 in a mustang, RON is 98 that’s what the engine is tuned for
Jenny is stunning in glasses
For a short while in the mid-70's, sales of The Mustang flagged badly in the USA so they gave it Ford Australia. The resulting design was cheap 4 cylinder cheap and dreadful. By the late 70's, it was back & styled in The USA. I, by chance, hired one (4 pot open 4 seater) in L.A.in 1980. After a few years this seeming innocuous but pleasant 'hire car plus' was quietly dropped from Ford's production line seemingly totally. In this second decade of this 21st Century, they've rebooted a car that is closer to the old beloved design. ie. the one that was so popular in the United States esp in the sixties. [DID YOU KNOW? :- The first Mustang was based on the running gear of very first Ford Falcon. The same (1) Falcon (in Aussie as well) along with the dangerously unstable (2) Chevrolet Corvair (rear engined:- READ THE BOOK "Unsafe at any speed," by still US Presidential hopeful, Ralph Nader), and finally the outstanding (3) Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge Valiant R+S (also imported here - I owned a new one in 1961) . These 3 cars were designed as little US Compacts to compete with the Yankee youth's most beloved little car, Hitler's VW Beetle (the real one) that i also owned in Aussie in 1960.]
Damn!, and I thought Simone had Back... 😅
i was just thinking the thing 💢😆 Jenny has a nice little boody 😍 😊
Sexy Jenny is back!!!
She's playing AC/DC !!!!
Nice
1:41 what did she just say!!? sports car
Car Tell TV know what they are doing. Most males will look at this video as say at the end... was there a car?
Why oh why are you fuelling up will 91 unleaded in a Premium octave engine! Bloody peanut !
i want one
What an amazing body, incredible curves and a rear end to die for and that's just Jenny....The Mustang well that looks good too.....
What kind of an aussie accent is that?
i prefer the face of the previous gen mustang to this new one.
I just don't understand why Ford can't put a sunroof on the Mustang.
Because of the body lines on the roof.
@@2loco Screw the body lines on the roof. Sunroof is more important. Wtf is wrong with people?
@@Philmoscowitz. AGREED! I miss having a sunroof. My first car had a sunroof (1992 honda prelude)
Lol you posted this at 12:16 sat 21 sep lol so late
CarTell.tv never sleeps!
There's more to life than gas mileage, just saying :)~
The girl is gorgeous.
5:00 a woman preferring the auto. That sums it up really.
6th Generation Mustang
The clear taillights gotta go....
Jenny, what’s up with the attire bro?
Didnt this car only get a 3 star ancap rating ? Pretty bad for a modern car
Not much "jiggy room" in the rear, I can't CONCEIVE that anyone other than kids would be would fit.
You dont buy a mustang as a family car.
Jenny i see u love this car almost seems u were gona start biting your lips when u punch it off the line.. 😆💢😏 that V8 does sound wicked then u punched it thou 👍🏾
@4:32 Aussie rock in an American car? Sacrilege!! XD
